I need help to find a way to correct or update the drivers for two DVDs that I have on my PC. Device Manager indicates that they are missing or have been corrupted, and they are a product of microsoft.

I tried to play a number of different disc, both DVD players and nothing seem to work.

    Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
    ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
    contacts data with a pencil eraser.

    Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
    manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts

    the entries in registry that the troubleshooter does not solve and those who "might" be the cause.

    Check with your Maker system and a device for the two possible firmware updates and

    My Windows Vista (pc HP) has been crashing lately. I managed to install the latest updates with the help of this community, but when checking for errors, I came across the outdated driver (Microsoft network adapters) as indicated above. If I went to the Device Manager and deleted the old driver, could I then update the same drivers by downloading from the Internet? Don't want to try it if I can replace the software safely.     2. are you referring to the Microsoft ISATAP card, if so you can ignore this message.

    Regarding your query, not all drivers will be automatically charged, some drivers are pre configured in the operating system and some must be downloaded.

    The best choice that you make before you uninstall the driver and install them will be to download the driver on the manufacturer's Web site just to be on the safer side.

    Some assignments in the past I've understand that Win7 drivers cannot be used with Win8 so you have to wait until Toshiba starts Win8 support for all models of laptops.
