  I had 6 Lightroom installed/activated/registered on a Dell desktop computer. A few months ago, the motherboard has failed, and Dell repaired under warranty, so I now have the same rear machine. However by doing the repair work they also reinstalled Windows and erase everything on the hard drive, despite my statement is not to touch the hard drive. So now I have to reinstall all my programs, including 6 of Lightroom. I downloaded LR6 and enter the serial number, but an error message informs that the serial number is already registered - what is correct. I need to somehow disable the program and turn it back on?   People very well, I managed to stop it at the moment. Here's what I did. I have reformat the computer back to factory settings. Here's what I do next. I chose to disable updates from windows updates by selecting the download updates only if you choose to. The good news is that this isn't your hardware problem, it's the problem of software updated it will make this problem. The bad news is that I don't know which is the cause. So for now just follow me by restarting to factory setting and do not update anything. When it does not work and always then issues an im afraid that I can't help

  Guess, what, I think that there is a problem between the driver and the system and consequently the system reports that the WiFi network is DISABLED.

  I recommend you to uninstall the Intel Wlan Device Manager driver.
  Then, you must restart the laptop.
  Please perform a complete shutdown (no hybrid closed, standby, etc.)

  After the new reboot, install the Wlan driver and reboot once more.
  It would be really interesting to know if you can activate the WLan after this short driver installation procedure.

• Need help setting up a document of 266 pages of a hard back book please...

  Hello.

  I'll set up a document for a 266-page hard back book and have a few questions.

  (1) how will I know if I am or not to use facing pages? The jacket of the book will be printed separately. I guess I shouldn't use facing pages and leave blank page 1? Page 2 and 3 will be unique spot colors, page 4 will be empty and page 5 will show the first detail.

  (2) I want the numbering to start on page 5 book. How can I tell InDesign to ignore the first 4 pages and effectively start page 5 as "Page 1"?

  (3) when I just export the document, do I export the document in the form of simple pages for printing with purge, or double pages "would break out"? I guess it will be like the unique pages.

  Any help is greatly appreciated...

  You want to set up the InDesign document as pages face to face; It makes more sense to have worked on the layout - when you export it for printing, you will export as single pages.

  You can make your document begin on page five using numbering and Section Options in the pages palette. Simply select start paging to: _ and fill 5 vacuum.

  For a book of this length, I recommend doing each chapter an InDesign document and to join them if a palette book. In my opinion, it makes the process less cumbersome, and you can still sync styles and master pages and have numbering running across documents.

• Need help to create a document with shapes that will prevent the end user from editing.

  I am a small business owner and I want to create estimates for my clients who are attractive and easy to understand. My dilemma is this: I need to have forms in the document - my employees need to enter the name/address/price info etc for each customer. This is not a problem as long as I print the document - but I wish I could so by e-mail. Is there a way I can create a PDF with forms that my employees can complete and that same PDF sent to the client without the client view/edit fields? I was hoping I could save it in a different format that won't allow editing? I tried to use the read-only option, but keeps my employees to fill out the required fields before he gets to the customer.
