I need help to uninstall Photosmart D110

I recently started having problems with my printer Photosmart D110. I tried to uninstall, and then put it back. The problem is that it seems not completely uninstalling as I can run no longer a clean install. Everytime I try, it shows the installation window, but there is no button "install". It shows the following buttons:

Install more software

Uninstall

Add a device

USB wireless

HP Smart Deals

Adobe Photoshop Elements

Output

When I look on the drive C: under Program files (x 86) it is still a HP folder with a subfolder 'digital imaging '. How do I completely uninstall the current installation so I can reinstall the software for my printer? I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit on a Toshiba Satellite A665-S6086.

Thank you in advance.

Ok. So I restored my computer to factory settings. In the process, I discovered that the function "Auto Sandbox' of my antivirus is what causes the problem. I have a support ticket with them to try to understand why and how to adjust the settings to correct the problem. Thanks for all your help.

    auntsands50,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  I need to get the details on your situation.  You say that you want to uninstall XP?  It will be the only way to install another operating system or use a program that will allow you to erase the hard drive.  You mention that you got a virus and you tried to do a restore.

So my question is what are you trying finally to accomplish?  Do you want to just get a virus on your system or you want to wipe the drive and reinstall XP.

If you want to remove a virus, then here is a link to a program free antivirus that you can use to help clean your system: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_essentials/

If you want to restore your system to factory default then you will need to boot from your XP cd or use the OEM solutions provided with your PC.  http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/316941 Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • Need help to uninstall COMPLETELY HP drivers & software pc under Win 7 fm

I have difficulties with completely remove and uninstall the drivers HP and my Dell Inspiron 830 software. I am running Windows 7.

I tried several times to use the uninstall under programs and applications feature in Windows.  This seems to remove applications from the list, but HP Update dated 07/07/10, 2.97 MB, in size 5.002.006.003 version will not remove.  In addition, my system keep trying to load SmartWebPrinting at various intervals.

I have downloaded and run the uninstall utility (it runs 4 times as indicated) but still have the same problems.

Please let me know what I can take to remove completely this software from my machine, including registry entries, startup services, measures specific and/or all what I need to do to get it OUT of MY SYSTEM!  Thank you.

    1) click on the Start Menu:

Open a command prompt or select run (user Vista and Win7, run as administrator command prompt

Type: net stop spooler < hit enter >

Type: net start spooler < hit enter >
Type: output < hit enter >

    2) open Windows Explorer and navigate to:

    %SystemRoot%\System32\Spool\Drivers\W32x86

NOTE: any % is usually C:\Windows, but it might be "winnt" or something else; It is set when the OS is installed.  Most systems are like this C:\Windows\system32\spool\drivers\w32x86

    (3) in the w32x86 folder, there will be other folders and files.  Delete everything inside, but DO NOT remove the w32x86 folder.

  • Satellite L955-10f - need help with uninstall Win8 and install Win7

I'm now totally fed up with the Mickey Mouse Windows 8 OS and want to return to Windows 7. I have a new laptop Toshiba Satellite L955-10f. Should I use the recovery disk to get rid of W8?

Is there a way I can get a recovery for W7 for this machine disk in case it is needed in the future? I'm not technical, so any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Right there is big problem with this machine. I ve checked the download page of Toshiba and this model is not supported for Win7, it will be difficult to find the right drivers, tools and utilities.

This model is designed for Win7 Toshiba doesn't offer Win7 recovery disc.
This is a rather complicated situation. The first thing you need to do should now create Win8 recovery media using the preinstalled Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

I put t know what to say. Maybe you have someone with an excellent knowledge of PC and who can help you with this. Material of your machine should be compared with other models may be supported, so you will be able to use the drivers, tools and utilities available for these models.

If you feel capable of the task, you can remove the offending registry entries yourself. Click on:

    Start--> Run...---> Type regedit--> click OK.

The keys would likely be in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software.

Search for Sims or Maxis. Remove entries to should allow you to reinstall again, but be careful in the registry and do a backup of everything you delete in the registry using file--> export Editor. You could damage your computer.

  • Uninstall not done correctly... I need help completely uninstall a program

I bought my laptop from a friend, and I don't think that they uninstalled a program properly. The programs are all Roxio programs and they still appear in the Add/Remove Programs list and still have in my computer, but the files exe files and uninstall files are not here. I think just delete what he thought, it was overall the program instead of uninstall. Is there a way to remove it completely, without some third party software?

    Hello

Best way I know is using 3rd party software. If necessary to re - install the Roxio software,
does not matter if it works or not and then use Revo to uninstall completely.

Use Revo Uninstaller - Free Version

    I hope this helps.

  • NEED HELP WITH HP PHOTOSMART C7100 PRINTER

    Hello

I recently bought a new HP laptop and struggled to establish a connection with my photosmart printer HP c7100. I get error messages about the compatibility with the XP software on my laptop. My guess is that I need to update the drivers but cannot say with certainty. Looking on the Hp website for driver downloads, I see that for slightly different patterns of what I have (IE 7130, etc.), but not for the c7100 model specifically. I have 2 part question: #1. Are the drivers on these other fairly similar models that I can replace (or are there infact of the specific drivers for c7100 model I simply) and #2. What exact drivers I need to download. Is - this one file or several different. Please notice that I don't want to mess too much with my new laptop. I would try to call HP, but it seems that when I do, I wind up being left on hold or speaking to someone in a foreign country which I don't understand.

C7100 is a series of Photosmart printers. The variants that you see, like C7150 and C7180 are the names of the actual models. All printers in the same series use the same drivers. So, you can choose one of them.

As for question 2, download the one named "Full Feature software and drivers".

  • Need help with uninstalling Windows 8 on Dell Inspiron 531 PC.

Help! Install Windows 8 on my PC without saving Vista (mainly because I thought that I would never use it again). However, absolutely, I hate Windows 8 and want to reinstall Vista but I can't find the installation disk that came with my PC. Is there another way, I can do?

Reference Dell will send the owner original diskettes for installation in the United States.  There may be a small fee. You can even borrow a Dell vista reinstall the disk of the same version and use your own key. It's on a small sticker on the tour.

  • Need help to uninstall WS8 corrupted instance

I just noticed slm002 discussion and will try the suggestions in this thread.

I upgraded a 8.0.2 installation and for some reason, the file because 8.0.3 - 29699 has not been saved. The 8.0.3 install was corrupted and when I try to upgrade to 8.0.4 told me to uninstall the installation.3. Unfortunately, the installation file was one of corrupted files.

I tried to manually delete all the computer, but there is always a reference to 8.0.3 - 29699 install somewhere which is not let me install the version.4.

I deleted all the files I could find and went into the registry to remove all references to VMWare. Can someone tell me where this information is stored or where can I ask specific build download for 8.0.3 - 29699?

    I'm running Win 7 Ultimate x 64

Take a look on the cleaning after incomplete uninstall on a Windows host (1308) , then, after cleaning, reinstall VMware Workstation.  Make sure that you back up your serial number before cleaning the Windows registry.

If you what to safely, modify the registry of the window and then use the information in 'How do I add, edit or delete subkeys in registry and values by using a registration entries (.reg) file' to do.
