  Your Skype number is used to receive calls, Skype credit are to make calls, they are not connected somehow, the only way this would happen is if you want to forward your calls, you have to pay for it somehow.

  So bottom line is no, you don't need credits to receive calls to a Skype number.

  Does not quite work this. Setup, I need is for someone to the United Kingdom to be able to call my Skype UK number and one to be automatically transmitted / redirect to my international mobile number.

  The reason is that if I don't reply on my number Skype the quality is too poor (via VOIP) and I don't want to call my international number directly (because of cost)

  So my question is, if I send my number to my international mobile Skype then is the call (between the callers mobile UK and my international mobile) now on mobile networks instead of the data.

  So I have reason to assume that the appellant would be charged the normal rate to the United Kingdom and I would be charged the rate of Skype calls?

  Yes, you're the one proposed is correct. Appellant UK phone number Skype UK which is a fixed rate local to them, if they have a call package on their account that it would be included in their minutes. You have configured give this UK number to your International mobile, but you will have to pay for shipping by credit on the distribution, or if you get a lot of calls a subscription (if available on your International mobile site).

  I just added a new number from Skype on my Skype account. It looks like a standard number of Brisbane, but I can't my Amaysim phone ring or my phone fixed Iinet. I was told that it's because it's really a VOIP number. But I can ring my mobile Vodafone!

It's very expensive to call with my phone to other countries, so I was thinking of using Skype for this. Of course, if I use Skype to call, I also want people to call me on Skype while I don't need to use my phone at all. That's why I read on the Skype number that seems a good idea. However, I have a few questions.

  A number of Skype is for people to call you only and didn't need to make credit or any other subscription that I am aware, so you get your number Skype in Holland and they can contact you at the national rate rather than international rates.

  You can set up identification of the calling line, this "Caller ID" Skype call, you can use your Skype number in there, or your number of laptop if you want to receive texts, your choice, but be aware that some parts of the country, telecommunications companies and even individuals turn off this option isn't 100% that each person you are calling will see your number , but most.

  To make calls from phone numbers you need credits or a subscription, from what I've seen and developed, subscriptions work cheaper than the credits and the bigger the package you sub for best case, given you call another European country, I'd watch the landline and mobile phones Europe unlimited, but you can just get a package for the call of the Nederland , your choice, but if you pay every month it's more expensive to pay each year.

  If you have a subscription, you get a discount on your Skype number subscription, look the best deal for you.

  Currently I have an active Skype number based in the United States. I can successfully make/receive calls in the USA (by my paid subscription)... excellent.

  My question is, I'm going abroad and want to use Skype to communicate with relatives back home. They can just call my number Skype based in the United States and (as long as I have internet connection) it just does not sound as usual? My question is more people-oriented call me directly, I probably will not all outbound calls unless I need to.

  Hi, what you're trying to do is possible in principle, but you do not add the number of Skype to a SIM.

  What happens, is that you install the Skype app on Google Store on your base premium Galaxy then receive calls and outgoing calls via the Skype in wifi or mobile data, if you add a local SIM card.

  Check Skype calling subscriptions and distribution rates to the United States and the Thailand (subscriptions especially if you make a lot of calls or transfer calls to a number of Thai). If you buy a subscription or even 2 subscriptions (1 USA and 1 Thai) then you get a 50% discount when you buy a Skype number for 12 months, which is a good deal.

  The application on your Galaxy will inform you of all the missed calls. I suggest you only install Skype on a PC too to see the full selection of purchase options in Tools/Options. You must configure the voicemail here and select this option to allow anyone to call your Skype number. Spend some time looking at all the options that are available to you.

  You can transfer your Skype CA number to a number of Thai, if you wish and have a subscription or a credit to pay for it.

  Perhaps start by installing Skype on your base premium Galaxy from the game store, sign in with your account and take a look at all the parameters available on the app. Setting most are in the app now except setting up voicemail that can be made on the program Skype on a PC.
