• Need help downloading for Mac 10.6.8 PE9 (an old mac)

  Hello! I had the HARDEST time trying to download PE9.  I lost him after the mac had malware and I had to take it to the Apple store. They said they had to wipe and reinstall everything.  I was told that I would lose all the apps.  But I did it.  PE9 lost.

  I talked to adobe support and various advisers accompanied me through downloading 4 times.  !! And it still doesn't work!  Maybe it's because I have this mac 10.6.8.

  Whenever I would try to open it and install it I got this message that "Installer failed to initialize download."   After that the last advise sent a link - one that I was REALLY HOPING would work this time!  It says the download for Mac OSX.  I don't have a mac OSX.

  So, if anyone knows how to get the PE9 for mac 10.6.8 (for once)! So I would be grat

  I can't believe!  I went to the download I did yesterday (and tried and tried to open but it says "unable to initialize the installation" over and over).  It WORKED tonight!  It is a mystery why she was giving me so much trouble yesterday!

  Everyone set up a tutorial on the publication of a Flex/AIR application for distribution as an OSX desktop application, or through Mac App Store, or just simply using the developer Certificate ID?

  In my time as a Flex developer, I've seen some well documented things and some that you had to dig for, but find clear instructions on this is really hard! I would have thought post your Flex/AIR application as a standalone application (captive runtime) users directly or through the Mac App Store (Apple Developer ID certificate signature) would be something that many people are trying to do. But most of the useful post there are dated or incomplete, as well as specifically targeted to iOS. In addition, whenever the AIR SDK changes it seems that many of the recent posts are no longer valid at certain stages.

  SnS is not supported for MAC users by definition.

  What makes us well, was to provide the DME link to MAC users, so they could open with FLip for MAC (plugin for WMV).

  I have no experience on the HTTPS protocol so...

  I bought iMac and it's my first Apple product. Now I have installed Dreamweaver and a few other apps that I use for web design and eveyr time I save a file, if its, PHP, HTML, CSS, PSD, PNG, I get the same file name created next to the source file. For example if I save the SAMPLE file. PHP another file called ._EXAMPLE. PHP is also created. Is it possible to turn this off or these files needs to save for Mac?

  You should be able to turn off your hidden files to remove.

  Files starting with a. are supposed to be hidden on the Mac, they are the files "users should not need to futz with these.

After some detective work, it seems that the pictures for Mac app was auto-charger on my Icloud account. I was able to stop the program with Little Snitch. Since then, I found the setting in the preferences to stop.

  So tell me if my interpretation of the pictures is correct: the default setting is it auto-upload of photos on your Mac to your Icloud account and it will also automatically download photos from any iPad or iPhone recorded via your Mac with the same account.

  This is not the default. You must activate iCloud in the pictures library > Preferences > iCloud for this to happen, also in system preferences > iCloud > Photos.

  And being before you allow it to make sure that, if you are registered with a storage with enough storage iCloud iCloud plan hold a large and growing photo library.  Without a subscription you have 5 GB of free cloud storage, and it won't work, if your photo library is large.

  Apple stopped selling iPhoto. You can not download installers for older versions, only updaters.

  But the iPhoto version 9.5.1 update you need for the Mavericks, is not available on the Apple download page. It has been available on the App Store.

  I lost a bunch of App Store for Mac purchases when my hard drive crashed. I got Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro X and the App Store has not any "knowledge" of this and makes me want to buy again. Assistance regarding the issue? I'm still able to make the Pages and Numbers, but does not show same I had GarageBand (which was free when I got my Mac!).   You must connect to the app store with the same apple ID used to buy applications initially. The applications are related to the ID, not the machine/drive.
