  • You need to install MS Office Pro 2007 on new computer after motherboard crashed on the old computer.

I have a license for MS Office Pro 2007 (US only) (OEM) that came with a new Dell laptop.  The motherboard on the computer crashed and I bought a new computer (Dell no).  Of course, I can't uninstall Office from your old computer.  Can I use my existing license to install/activate the Office on my new computer.  The new computer has the trial version which allows 25 uses.  My product key does not work because it has not been uninstalled or disabled (I guess).

Your product key does not work because you can not use it to "move" from an edition of the trial and because it has already been used (on the other system).  You must do it manually and I do not know the manual process for Office products.  As an OEM license, I do not think it can be moved to another machine - but if this applies to operating systems, I am not sure that it applies to the Office products (I've never had this issue before).  It may be perfectly fine once you uninstall the trial and download the appropriate version of Microsoft.  You need to ask the experts.

Please repost your question in the Forums Office: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officeinstall/threads where specialists in office wil be more than happy to answer your question.

    I hope this helps.

  • How do we install standard Acrobat XI on the new computer?

I bought the standard program Acrobat XI and have it on a laptop who claimed the other day. After poking around the Adobe site for a few hours (using my new laptop, which came with Adobe Reader), I have not found the answer to what must be a very common question: how to install standard Acrobat XI on my new computer. Looks like it was a very secret process, is shared only with the billionaires and power users. I just want to use a program, I've bought and paid for. Thanks for any suggestions which could push me in the right direction. -Keith Christensen

In fact, since my computer crashed and I didn't have any backup program Acrobat XI, my fixed was to connect to my Adobe account and search. I had to dig a little, but when I clicked on my "history" of product purchases, he was there: a link to download the program. Using the original serial number (which I had saved in the cloud), the installation went without a hitch.

  • What do I need to install Adobe Acrobat Pro to edit PDF files?

I'm subscribed to Adobe PDF Pack.

I want the ability to drag-and - drop to insert, remove, and reorder pages. So it appears I need Adobe Acrobat Pro. Is this correct?

If I've updated to Adobe Acrobat Pro, should I install something on my PC? Where can I I simply drag-and - drop to insert, remove, and reorder pages online (in my browser) with the same login that I use now for Adobe PDF Pack?

I don't want to install anything. Where my question.

    Thank you!

    Bob

    Hi robertm33760217,

Yes, you would need Adobe Acrobat Pro to insert, remove, and reorder pages.

Yes, you need to install the software on your computer as Acrobat software Acrobat will not work with your browser.

    You have any other question?

    Kind regards

  • Unable to reinatall Acrobat Pro Xi on new computer

A few months ago, I bought Acrobat Pro Xi.  This computer is dead.  I can't reinstall the program on my new computer.  It indicates the serial number requires a product exist (apparently an upgrade).  But I don't have the old product.  Is the program installed fine in June, possible to install it on my replacement computer.

You need the serial number of the previous product. That is all that should be necessary, as well as the S/N XI.

  • Why is the launch of Acrobat Pro XI on new computer Windows 8 does not?

I installed the version of Acrobat Pro XI initially purchased in 2012 (and installed on a laptop XP) on my new computer Windows 8. Installation was successful; However, at the launch of the application to open an existing document or create a new document, a window opens asking for an update of the serial number and asking to choose from one of the products on the drop-down list, then by entering the serial number.  The message on top, says "Serial number not a product not qualifying."  Well, on the one hand, Acrobat Pro XI is not on the list, so I can't select it.  Only Acrobat Standard XI and others appear.

So, what should I do to be able to open this software on my new computer?   Thanks for any clarification.   Tried the cat, but after 30 minutes of waiting, I gave up.

The key may be the statement "eligible product. Apparently you have an upgrade version and the application is for the SN of the previous version of Acrobat. Must be at least 9 AA.

  • Can I install Adobe Acrobat 8 on the new computer laptop if it is not possible to deactivate on old PC?

I have Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional that I installed on my PC in 2007. My PC has renounced the shadow and the shop where took to a now destroyed the hard drive for me, so I can't disable the software before installing again on my new laptop which has Windows 8. The shop seem to have copied the file shortcut to the new laptop, but nothing else. Can I reinstall without disabling the previous software?

You may be able to make it work. If you have a 64 bit system, as many are today, then you may have more trouble.

If you need to adjust the activation, it is something that must be done with Adobe directly. Two facilities are generally licensed for every copy of Acrobat you have, so you can have a left.

Suppose you manage the installation. The first step is to install the updates (especially for a 64-bit system). You may be able to make updates in the Help menu (assuming that Acrobat opens). If you need to install manually, go to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows and install updates in the order. To download from the most recent backwards, because each update tells you the previous update required for installation. In general, just restart after the update.

To test your system, first check the features of Acrobat and Distiller programs by selecting from the menu of programs (or the Metro interface). If you have a PS file available, check the processing of this file by Distiller to check on the creation of PDF files. Then, try to print from an application to the Adobe PDF printer. If it works, fine. If this is not the case, try a print to a file and open the file in Distiller to create a PDF file. If the printing process is running, then try to WORD or other product of MS that could have the PDF Maker inside. See if you can create a PDF from this application. The only way to know for sure to try it. Adobe does not certify AA8 for Win7 or Win8 as it was not tested. For Win7, several people have reported success.

  • How can I install my Acrobat 9 to a new computer?

I have a new laptop and Acrobat 9 that I bought in 2013 - how do I install in my new computer?

Move the file to install it on the new system just and install it. AA 9 is perhaps not compatible with your new operating system. If you are successful with the installation, remember to do the updates to work on the new OS. AA 9 works on Win 7, but one may wonder on 8 to win. I don't know about the various MAC operating systems.

  • Need help install upgrade Lightroom 5 on a new computer

    Hi all

I have 5 Lightroom, which upgraded from Lightroom 4 Mac #1. I noticed a complete v4.x license key and a key to upgrade from v5.x, and these worked on Mac #1.

Now, I want to install Lightroom on Mac #2 5. Can I install and activate the v4, but when I install v5 it offers me an upgrade of activation. The only permit it seems to want is a full v5 one (it does not accept my key to upgrade to v5).

How can I get LRv5 installed on the new computer?

    Thank you

  • Try to install Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, get the error message that a newer version is already installed

Portable Acrobat Pro on a new computer installation.  At the point of download get the message "Setup has detected that you already have a better version product installed. The installation program will end now. "Acrobat Pro is NOT already installed, in any version.  What is the problem?

Thanks for the comments.  Drive and cleaning tool has not helped.  We found that the add-on PDF associated with FrameMaker was causing the issue.  Uninstalled FM and the add-on, and then was able to install Acrobat Pro without any problem.  Then reinstalled FM.  Weird, but it worked.
