  Your voice memos must be store under Menu > Media Center > music ringtones & > My sons. It will be initially named something like '1122092122 a', but by pressing the Options will allow you to rename it.

  First of all, let us ensure that applications running in standby mode are not causing problems when you try to save. Please use the resource in the following article to close all applications on your iPhone:

  I just got iphone 6s and restored the backup of my old iphone 4 s. any transfer of property, it works well. but when I opened the voice memo, I see this message: "unable to create the voice memo": "there was a problem creating the application resources. make room by removing existing videos from photos.   Try these standard troubleshooting steps.

  Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

  Try going into settings > general > reset > reset home screen presentation.

  Hello! My new iPhone IS will not record voice memos. I can open the app very well, but when I press the record button it shakes just for a moment and then stops.

  The software is up-to-date (iOS 9.3.1), storage seems adequate (6.0 GB used, 5.6 GB available), MIC works fine in other applications (voice control, camera), so I'm not sure what the issue could be.

  Try a forced reboot - after open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

  Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo  - then release and allow normal start upward

  If this does not work

  Please take a genius appointment at an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.

  You can't look "inside" a backup. Just use iTunes to sync with your iPhone, then you'll see a separate category for voice memos in the sidebar.

  I use a lot, voice memos running iOS 6.1.6 on my iPod Touch 64 GB (4th generation) with no problems until what I have updated iTunes on my iMac (running 10.9.5) to version 12.3.3.17.

  You can try cut a few seconds late then sync the voice memo? Make sure that the last seconds are not important.

  To adjust the memo, tap on the blue arrow on the right side of the memo, tap "Trim Memo", cut a few seconds, then press 'Trim the voice memo.

  I know will say you that is not practical for each voice memo, I just want to see if it works for you, that I may be able to help more.

  What I can't get is voice memos on March 22. I did several others March 23 and they fine synchronization.

  Voice memos will only attempt to synchronize once.  If something happens or the synchronization is interrupted, you may find yourself in this situation, where synchronize new but older memos are not.  To remedy this, deceive the iPhone for it's new.  Go to the voice memo on the iPhone and change it.  Some people say, you don't have to make changes to make it work, just edit and made on each of them, should show 'new' for your next synchronization.  Other States must actually make a small change, even if it means cutting a second to the end of your memo or something.  I would like to know how that works for you!

  Voice memos are automatically saved as part of a backup, however...

  1. You can only find them by restoring your back up to a new phone.
  2. Notes recent (those taken since your last backup) will be unavailable.

  Voice memos are not stored on the Apple servers. They are stored locally on the phone. If you save iCloud, they are stored. If you send them anywhere via the application Messages or e-mail, they, like everything else you send through the internet, are probably stored somewhere. But no, Apple has no reason to be interested in your voice memos. Siri is stored because it allows to improve the functioning of Siri.
