  IIRC, by default, when the call to this service via RIDC, will get you service data returned back to you in a format of .hda.

  This error was both the amd64_microsoft-windows-w... Co-Installateur and x86_microsoft-windows-w... records of the co-installateur.  It seems that these records were both empty after filling them with DLLs that are appropriate from another machine, the installation completed successfully.

  This can happen due to antivirus programs.

The sample video to get advice on the use of converter on VMware support sites show a volume listed here. I tried the same approach on a completely different system under Vista SP2 and still no volumes appear so maybe it normal?

  I had the same problem on a Win7 x 64 machine... There was no listed disk to convert.

  I managed to solve the problem by running the converter as an administrator. Right-click on the Desktop Converter icon and select run as administrator.
