    Advertising - Store configuration and policy.

    Here's the scenario.

    I have a user (spokuri) OAM with the password (Oracle123) and im able to connect with these credentials.

    But it's when I reset the password for Oracle1234 for spokuri using the administrator credentials.

    Next time, when I try to connect with these credentials(spokuri/Oracle123) should not allow me to open a session to the User Manager since I changed the password to Oracle1234. Am I rite?

    But, it allows to connect to the User Manager with the old password and the new password.

    BEFSR41 ver 4.3 - the installation cd seems to be faulty at step 9. I went in the page setup and can now get to step11, but then I get a message that the router is not able to connect to the internet. I have a netopia modem (United 3300 series), my ISP is Centurytel.     I am not able to connect to my user profile.  I'm the account administrator.  My password does not work or I can not recall.  I read a lot about other people having similar problems, and most of the advice given to them is not really easy to understand.  It seems that the person must jump through a bunch of hoops just to solve a problem that happens sporadically for no apparent reason a lot of people.  I had this problem before, except that all my accounts could not be consulted and spent a lot of money to get it repaired.  Now, four months later, cannot access my main account, and the other two accounts don't change anything because they are not the main account.  What can we do to prevent that from happening.  You should not have more than one account as your main account for just because you know you need to because you know it will happen again, no matter what you do?

    Win 7 pro 64-bit, sp2 after windows installed 10 has not not able to connect to update server. When an attempt is made to trust installation and a host file resume all cycles of memory and cpu and it will continue to do that too long current arrives at the machine.

    I ran fixit, check tools sfc, 3 different types of root kit tools and PGE antivirus both offline and online, new installation did not help, formatting the drive did not help.

    This problem seems to be related to a windows installation failed 10 what I finally did after a month of working with microsoft is I went to the microsoft update catalog site and downloaded and installed an update stand-alone said to improve the State of update and after about 4 hours it installed and downloaded updates.

    From your description, it seems that you are not able to connect to the user account when you try to connect you get following error. The user profile Service has no logon

    This behavior can occur if the user profile was deleted manually using the command prompt or by using Windows Explorer. A profile that is manually deleted does not remove the security identifier (SID) of the list of profiles in the registry.

    If the SID is present, Windows will try to load the profile using the profile Image path that points to a nonexistent path. Therefore, the profile cannot be loaded.

    To resolve the problem with the user account, you can follow these steps:
    Method 1:
    (a) click Start, type regedit in the start search box, and then press ENTER.
    (b) search for, and then expand the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

    (c) right click the SID that you want to remove, and then click on remove.
    (d) log on to the computer and create a new profile.

    I'm grateful for any advice. I'm pretty good with computers, but not an expert. My two daughters-in-law have Presario CQ60-212EM laptop and we first met a problem connecting with a new router at home. Finally, a spark to Maplins suggest change us the security from WPA to WEP, and worked well.

  • Able to connect to SQL Developer but not a toad - ORA-12154: TNS

    My workplace uses TOAD as standard SQL tool to run against Oracle, although I prefer test and use SQL developer.

    When you try to connect to a database in TOAD I get the following error

    ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve service name

    I'm using the TNSNAMES file. ORA and I am able to connect through SQL Developer, no problem.

    Also in the same file, I'm able to connect to the other TNS names, but all just not this one it seems.

    I find it very strange, because it seems that for this name TNS one, I specifically can not connect through TOAD

    I can connect to any other AMT via TOAD, and I can connect through SQL developer

    I also tried a TNSPING and his returning in OK for the server and the connection seem just.

    I believe that your version of toad is too low for this version of Oracle. You should be able to confirm with QUEST software.

    There was a problem, one of the database, most of the applications were unable to connect, only 1 or 2 managed applications to connect, which totalled around 4 to 6 hours. Once the database has been recycle everything was ok, so what could be the reason? I have too many words from sr oracle, oracle specified as there was a sql with 13000 executions, also as 2 users have tried to update the same row in the table, so that users must commit frequently, just read the lines highlighted. My question is if there is a conflict of line, that would restrict other applications to connect to the database. And after reboot, everything was normal. I m wondering as is the resource_limit or max execeeded processes at this time this is why not able to sign in as user applications oracle unable to generate new processes.

    As I mentioned in the SR #, users could not establish connection to recycling of the database at all. So what is the root cause?

    Not so sure. Is this connection to database, or application? It can start with the search/update of this table where the problem may come from.

    I completed the installation of OBI Apps.All test connections are working properly and I have also configured the relational connection in Informatica Workflow.The passwords, user name and connect string are correct.     It seems that the TNS Informatica file is pointing to is not the appropriate for your database entry. The the more safe thing to do is to verify that all the settings Oracle containing information in the source database.
