I think having a virus
For the last two weeks, I get messages saying: I won something once when I went on Facebook it seemed real and he said that I had won a gift, go to the next page of th and enter my details. I don't do it. The next day, he said that I won a thousand pounds, but it wasn't Facebook it just popped up. Since then I have had several popup windows saying: I have a virus serious I can't get rid of the screen and my phone vibrates. So on Saturday I did a factory reset using my computer and the Sony program that came with the phone. It took 45 minutes to load, then 30 minutes to sort the phone first I copied my music photos and my contacts on my computer. Then I wiped my memory card. I spent several hours to put everything on my phone 2. It's OK on Sunday all day but at 04:00 updated a window pops up saying it is from crome browser and I had a very bad virus even once, it wouldn't let me not use the back button and just vibrated. Is it possible this sort without having to buy another phone that I do my bank about it. THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME. PS, before I wiped the phone I looked on here and downloaded a malware program, but that did not help.
OK the phone has more pop ups. I have not rebooted a mp3 downloader and two radio stations do not know if they caused the problem, but will not have luck, thank you to all who gave advice.

If you use Safari, force them to leave. Then restart Safari, hold down the SHIFT key.

My Windows Vista was compromised by the My security shield virus. I finally managed to get rid of it and get my AV back operational software. However, Windows update will not work. When I click through the update program, it takes forever to come, and then will not work. I can't access the program of services to restart all services. I'd appreciate any help on this.
Thank you.

Next time tell them you call the police, then hang up.They will tell you probably download and install something. If you do this, you're screwed.Your son has done the right thing by hanging up.Just a call cannot infect your pc. If it does not install anything they wanted install you and it does not give them access so it's no problem at all. Just a scam gone sour.Don't worry, your son has done the right thing.Sébastien. -
It is after the removal of Security Tool virus. I need to delete everything that is telling Windows (XP SP3) that there is a firewall and anti-virus (es) when they are not running. I need to install real firewall and antivirus, but cannot.
Fixed a problem. I found this on the Avira forum. Use BartPE to rename \windows\system32\wbem\repository (to... repository.org, so that I could get back in the case where this caused problems). Then restarted. Now that the real firewall and anti-virus that run really show in Security Center. The entrance to the forum suggested run services.msc and stop the WMI service, and then do the renaming. However, the name change was denied, that's why I used BartPE - boy, this thing is a lifesaver sometimes! I appreciate the help I received from those in this forum. Thank you, Steve

There is no virus affecting OS X * yet.* what you probably have is malware. Suggest you download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac

My Tecra M3 has caught a virus-help
Can anyone recommend a good anti-virus software. I think having a virus since I was in the internet last night.
My M3 starts fine and I can work with it, but whenever I have access to internet, I put on a 'internet - Shopping' page (rather not mentioned which) and whenever I try to change the URL, I am bombarded by pop-up windows. My homepage has disappeared when I refresh my browser and so on.
In fact, I don't know if I need an anti-virus program or an Anti-Spyware. And how do I get rid of this shopping page?
Rusty
Hello
Virus and spyware is a very serious problem. You should always use anti-virus software with the latest updates. I use Norton System Works antivirus software and in my opinion it s one of the best programs. There are of course many other programs e.g.: McAfee. In addition it is very important that you can always find an anti-virus software.
In addition, the tool I use Ad-Aware SE Personal. It s a very nice spyware. In addition, you can consult this tool: http://www.anti-spy.info/Good bye

Hello
If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be harder to detect as
the cause. No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean. It can be made repeatedly in Mode safe - F8 tap that you start, however, you must also run
the regular windows when you can.TDSSKiller.exe. - Download the desktop - so go ahead and right-click on it - RUN AS ADMIN
It will display all the infections in the report after you run - if it will not run changed the name of
TDSSKiller.exe to tdsskiller.com. If she finds something or not does not mean that you should not
check with the other methods below.

I found, when the use of Process Explorer, that a second version of the Explorer P. works too, but its icon (left) is a standard and not the true icon of the Explorer P.. This second version ran under the NEST 6200, which I believe has to do with a modem. I have a modem on my Vista machine, but it is not used (no telephone connection). I went into the folder where P. Explorer runs and found procexp.chm, and when I tried to open the file, Windows said it was a program. To disable, I renamed it, and now I'm not running. Also, I found of svchost.exe running under the NEST 6200, but with no description, co. name, path or command line. I have known big bed (over 500 MB), using svchost.exe, from time to time. I think having a virus. Can someone tell me what I have and then tell me how to remove from my machine? (Also, I've known a slow machine, usually after starts.)
I have two versions of svchost.exe on my machine. Tests for a virus showed neither to be a virus. I tried to delete the version that is not in the c:\windows\system32 folder but am unable to do so. Can someone tell me how to delete such a file, or to replace it with the correct version?
