  I don't think that SuperFetch is not activated is your problem. Two things you can try are nondestructive a "clean boot" and a "repair installation".

  You can install the Acrobat x update without installing acrobat 9.

  Start the software acrobat x installation.  you will be prompted for the serial number x' are, first of all.

  After entering the serial number x' are, you will be asked (with a drop-down menu) to select the eligible program (acrobat 9).  Select acrobat 9 and enter the serial number its (acrobat 9).

  Enter the correct number at the right time and proceed with the installation.

  Make sure you did more that 'try the link.  Make sure you have made the necessary changes or explain if you couldn't tick the box "any developer".

  For a redefined search C: Vista drive click to start / search and type in EXT:INK. As you type, you'll see two hyperlinks appear just above where you type and we'll search everywhere.  A click on it.  Who will do a fast indexed search and bring up a dialog box.  Click on advanced search.  Click the drop-down location and find the C: drive and click on it. Check the box "include not indexed, hidden and system files (might be slow).»  Then click on search.  You will now search your entire hard drive to the specified file.  And Yes, this isn't a very effective way to search the entire disk for a file but it is how it is done in Vista.

  Launch the Flash Pro uninstaller mentioned at the 3rd screenshot and then run the Tool Cleaner of the Adobe Creative Suite and remove the remains of the installation of Flash Pro. Then re-install Flash Pro using AAM.

  Suzann7777 you want to run the installation program to install Photoshop Elements.  If it gives you the option uninstall then it is already installed.  In this case, please use the normal method to open the program to the operating system you are using?

  Open WordPad, type a few words, and click Save. The Explorer window that opens will show you where WordPad saves the documents. By default, it uses your Documents folder.
