• New firmware Sansa Clip (1 GB) = no music file?

  I just upgraded my Sansa Clip (1 GB) with the new Firmware, and when I plug it in, it does not my music files, how to bring them back? The music is still playing and everything, just at the moment where I Plug and click on the folder, it is not show them.

  Firmware updates usually restore the unit to the default USB, Auto Vice mode. It will connect to the PSG most of the time. If the files have been transferred in MSC mode, you do not see them unless in this mode. Go to settings > system settings > USB mode and switch to the MSC. Then re - connect and see if these files now appear.

  I don't know even what kind of files I have in itunes - they are mostly ripped a CD. I guess they were mp3s but looking at recent postings here it looks like they may be something else (ACC file extensions?).   Anyway, I was fiddling around in itunes but have not been able to verify what are the types of files ('cos I'm ignoring it!)

  Earlier today I just copied some of the songs in itunes, go to Windows Explorer and paste in the section music to the Sansa Clip file.   They played very well...

  Then I went and deleted these files on the Sansa Clip Plus, because they were just an experiment.

  Then I went back to itunes and copied the files over.   This time, when I went to paste the files in Sansa Clip Plus in Windows Explorer, I found the option to paste is grayed out.

  I'm stuck and would be incredibly grateful for the help.   As you can from it of the mess that the above, any guidance I get has to be pretty basic.

  the easiest way is just to look at the files in windows Explorer. go to documents, then music. the music folder to itunes folder. That's where itunes stores all the files. you need to configure the computer to display file extensions for known file types. Find your MP3 files and copy them from windows Explorer, then glue them to the clamp.

  The easiest way I can think of that would add to what follows in the loop: number in fractional string to convert these values into strings and String Concatenation to create the correct file name.  Also concatenate file name with the path of your backup location.  Finally convert the string path.

  Unfortunately my current computer is not installed LabVIEW, so I can't create a nice demo.  But you should be able to wire just those together without too much confusion.  It will look as follows:

  [current]--> [fractional number string]--> [concatenation]

  The only question I could foresee is if you come across the same voltage/current.

  You may obtain the names of files as follows:

  1_2.csv

  2_2.csv

  3_2.csv

  4_2.csv

  1_2.csv * error.  Depending on your settings, this results in the file overwritten, raise an error or be added.

  Take this into account if you have not only different combinations for each file.

• Don't forget the files I had open when Dreamweaver reopening

  One of the annoying features in dreamweaver is that it seems not to remember the files that I had opened when I close and then reopen dreamweaver. Is there a setting I'm missing or an extension that does this?

• Try adding an SSD, but now I don't see the hard drive?

  I am trying to add a 256 GB SSD on the 1 TB HDD in my Aspire V3 - 772 G.  I put the SSD in the Bay where the hard drive used to be and swapped the hard drive to the extra Bay.  I have cloned the SSD hard drive and can be started either by when you press F12 to select boot Preferences.  However, when I boot with SSD (as I wish I could), I can see is no longer my hard drive.  When I boot by the 1 TB hard drive, both are visible.

  I tried to load the hard drive in an external enclosure and I am able to see him as he is connected with USB3. When loading in the drive Bay hard ssecondary, Manager of devices does not see my 1 TB hard drive.  Please let me know if you have ideas for what to try next.

  When I set up my USER he asked me if I would be the Admiistrator. I said yes.  But, when iI rebooted my laptop, only the icon of the USER (S) presented at the connection... the Administrator icon was missing. and my new USER reflects only a few shortcuts shared on the desktop...

  I expect Admin rights and my old administrator settings.  I need to recover them because all my documents and especially my work programs do not exist.

  What you experienced is normal.  When you create another user, the original administrator account becomes hidden.  It's still there (in fact, it cannot be deleted), it just doesn't appear in the login screen.

  You should still be able to login as administrator.  When you get to the login screen, just tap Ctrl-Alt-Del twice.  This will bring up a login dialog window.  Just enter 'Administrator' in the user name and the password (if any) in the password line and press 'return '.  If you want or need to copy your files and data from the administrator account to the new account that you created, and then follow the steps in the following procedure and claim that your administrator profile is corrupted or damaged.

• Clip 8 GB don't organize music files

  I have several ripped CD I want to put on my 8 G Clip.  The songs were torn like MP3s using Sound Juicer.  After copy in the directory of the music of the Clip and the disassembly, the Clip said to update the database, as expected, but there is no organization of music - no album, no name of artist - all tracks are in the unknown group.  Using EasyTag program I can see the artist and album tags on mp3 files ripped when I get the Clip.

  The clip firmware is V02.0116A

  I have tried everything I know - any suggestions?

  Tags cannot be written in the format preferred by the Sansa players. They should be ID3v2.3 ISO 8859-1 (other formats may cause all sorts of weird behavior). I don't know if they can be saved in this format with EasyTag, but it's simple to do with MP3Tag.

• My thunderbird email just lost all the files, I had. I can get back somehow?

  Yesterday, I noticed that no email came through. When I hit get mail it seems it failed or safety was not valid. I tried to substitute, and again, it would fail. Today I came home to see if it worked and it was not. I went to my account and looked at the account settings. I did some research on google and did a 2nd represent the same email. (All using Pop3). Then I had 2 identical accounts, both with all my files. (it's a business e-mail, I have a lot of important info here). It worked so I deleted the other account and then everything disappeared. EVERYTHING! No email or files of any kind and then he told me that I had no access to anything. I had to play around and finally get email in the account, but only from June 10 to the today. My files have disappeared... Is it possible to recover. I have some very important things that I need Monday. How can I get back them?

  Mail is listed under account. Where did you think that the records would be when you deleted the account that they were attached to? People do it because there was a Thunderbird, but which reality help me to understand.
