I use elements and I try to add text to an image.

When I select the type tool and then click on the image, I immediately get him confirm / cancel option.  I can't enter any text in the text object.  What can I do?

Suggest that you reset tool. To do this in older versions of the aspect program for a small triangle in the upper left, on the tool options bar. Click and reset.

In later versions of the program, look for a box with lines in it, on the bottom right, on the tool options bar. Click and reset.

Note that with your image open, when you activate the text tool, the text will come in on a separate layer. According to the resolution of the file, you may need to increase the size of the TA for a value exceeding the default values in the menu drop-down... Highlight the value on the screen and type in 110 or 140.

You set the font size to a size that is suitable for the size of the document.   Size of the document may vary everywhere.   To resolve this problem in action, I solved in scaling the document to a known size then use a font suitable for a document of this size.  When you resize an image using size with resample Images not only checked a single pixel is change everything that is changed is the DPI image resolution setting.  So if you size a picture 8 "wide you choose a font size is good for wide image 8" the Save action.  To work around the problem of changing the size of the printing I wrote a Script to use in such an action.  The script is used twice, there is a backup and restore script.   The first time that the script is used the script records the resolution DPI images in the metadata documents.  The second time that the script is executed, it retrieves the registered PID parameter deletes the record of metadata from images and set the DPI images that had been saved.    If the use of fonts for the document 8 "will be resized to fit the print original size.

In a script, you can calculate a correct font size to use.  Actions cannot retrieve information or use logic. They need to use the Plug-ing and Script where logic is needed.  When you make using Photoshop UI you use your eyes and brain.

I thought about it... need to use the defined comment tool, not the set of editing tools.

I used my Windows 7 Ultimate on Windows Anytime Upgrade key on my Home Premium and it does not add text prediction in on-screen keyboard... Can I fix?

I haven't seen someone else pointing out this problem and have no knowledge of the topic other than the behavior I saw on my own system.

That being said, Windows 7 help & how-to text prediction is available in all editions of Windows except Windows 7 Home Basic Edition [English, French, Italian, German, Spanish] 7.

Highlight the value that is exposed (72pt), and then type a larger value. Try110 or 140.

The point is that you are not limited to the size in the menu dropdown.

  • Image turns red when you try to add text?

    I'm using CS5 64 bit on a machine Win7 64 bit with 8 GB of RAM.

I've been creating images, then add text to them, without any problem. Suddenly, something goes wrong.

I created an image on a white background with green text. I saved it as a .psd

Later, I opened in CS5 and clicked on the text tool. I put the cursor on the image, and the entire image area became red.

All the options under Layer (such as New or duplicate) are grayed out.

The layers box shows a single layer, named Index. Right-click on this poster in gray all options.

I also tried to add text to a previously recorded file .jpg with the same result.

If I make a new image, I can add text correctly.

And I can also add text to other .jpgs I did previously.

So, apparently, it's something to do with the way in which these special files have been saved or something?

I tried to reset the text tool, but that's not good.

What I am doing wrong? What differentiates these images?

I tried to download the image of .psd in question, but I got an error message stating that "the content of this image type is not allowed.

    Thank you!

And I can also add text to other .jpgs I did previously.

But this isn't a JPG file! Because

The layers box shows a single layer, named Index.

is a clear sign that it's a GIF or PNG. Just a picture--> Mode--> RGB to convert.

  • I want to add text to my images in LR; I don't want to print them.

How can I add text to my images in LR?  I've used this feature in Picasa a lot, and I wish I could do the same thing with LR.

As far as I know, the only ways to add text are for export (with the help of watermark and/or the Mogrify plug-in), or when you print to a file

There is no function in Lightroom to add text in the develop Module

How do I add text to an image responsive

You can do this in your image editing program. If you want the text to also be reactive with the image and still maintain the same relative size.

Otherwise, you would need turn the image into a background image in css and then add the text in the container of this background-image.

Don't forget that your font color is different from the background color

You may need to enter a point value for the policy manually. You are not limited to the values of the drop-dow. Try to 120 or 140. This has to do with the resolution of the image file.

  • A few questions about the use of a XML file to add text in a component defined in HTML TextArea

    I use AS2 in Flash CS3.

I have a TextArea component in the scene that load its XML text and I was able to use the ul and li tags to create lists. However, when I try to include a nested list, he inserts just a line break between the nested list and the main list rather than he dash away. Is there a solution for this problem?

Otherwise, how would I be able to add spaces nonbreaking in the XML so that they will be inside the TextArea element? I tried and & #160; without success. I've been searching the net for some help with this and find information about the change of the incorporation of xml file with a new entry for the non-breaking space of police and that has not worked either, which leaves me a bit confused.

Flash does not support nested lists (as you know).  You can work around this limitation by using css and create your own styles of dash.  CSS have a property marginLeft, that you can use.

  • On my Mac10.8.2 using PSE9 and could not convert several RAW to Jpeg images

I use PSE9 and put right on our new Mac 10.8.2 Windows 7. It works well, but this isn't quite the same thing. Under windows if I want to covnert a RAW file in jpg and was in the Organizer I just clicked on file, save and selected jpg and could easily choose mulitple photos. On the mac when I'm in the organizer and click on file, there is no button... record is he hiding. I can make them both when I'm editing, but that is a very long way to do it. Is there an easy way to select many photos in the organizer and convert them to jpg in RAW format? Thank you.

There is no export command in the mac organizer before PES 11.

  • Cannot add text to additional images on the second page of brochure

    Greetings,

I want to explain it, so there are many understand the problem that I have in InDesign CC.  I created a tabloid size for a company brochure.  The outside cover works perfectly, I can add multiple blocks of text and add text to all created frames.

Now when I go inside the cover of this brochure, I can add text for the first block of text that was created without any problem.  When I create subsequent text frames, I can't have a fast blinking cursor inside one of the frames.  The slider appears across the page in the upper left corner of the booklet, instead of the image.  This happens for all the images I create after the first picture on this page.  I select the text layer and the image appropriate, then I go to the text tool and try to place the cursor inside the frame, and the text tool will not active there.  All text created will begin appearing in the upper left corner of the booklet where is the blinking cursor!  If I delete the first block of text on the inside cover, and then create all new text frames; I can't add text to one of the new executives either.  It almost as if text is limited to that very first image I created.

    Thank you

    Carl

    Good,

I found a work around.  Honestly, I want that the Type tool to convert frames for text blocks.  This occurs on the outside cover, and not on the inside cover.  So what I've discovered, it was that the executives who were not automatically convert to text blocks, I could manually convert them by accessing the object > content > text.

I have yet to understand why the Type tool will do it on a single page and not the other, but at least I can end this now!

    Thank you

    Carl
