  Windows 7 is not official on the market. Only the RC (Beta) version is available.
  This means that there is no driver specific to the Win 7 OS.

  But as you know the Vista is very similar to Win 7 and it is why some drivers (not all) should work and work with Win 7.

  Just test and check what can be used and what doesn t work with Win 7

  Doing a lot of brushing up on an image using Lightroom is known to have this problem. The first thing to try is to turn off the graphics acceleration (go to Preferences/Performance tab and then uncheck the box here). IF this does not help, then you can consider doing your brush in Photoshop Elements or Photoshop, instead of brushing in Lightroom.

  First the cost, you must know if your hardware can support Windows 7

  In General win 7 should a minimum og 1 gig of ram (for 32 bit) or 2 for 64-bit, and it needs a video card 256 MB or greater.

  If your less and can not be updated it may be best to start thinking about a new computer.

  If the above is ok there are various offers for win 8, but make sure you buy form a reliable site of Ms.  There are a lot of current scams.

  Thunderbird is compatible with Windows 10. Defender problems are exactly that. Something that Microsoft needs to fix.

An antivirus program that cannot detect the payload of a newly written file and keep it opens is not worth the CPU cycles which is uses for to fail in its primary function.   I can tell you one thing, all or almost of windows xp device drivers will disappear from the computer manufacturers support websites and will reappear on all these shady sites who claim to be download for free but comes with unwanted software. Download the latest device drivers and keep several copies of them and download them to your skydrive or dropbox account fo guard.

  I doubt that will happen. I've seen Windows 2000 drivers still on websites mfg.

  all you need is an application called "Remote Desktop Connection", it comes pre-installed in windows 7, if you have windows XP home, you can't get the remote desktop, but if you upgrade to XP Professional you can.

  Looks like your .exe file association has been broken.

  Office is not included with your purchase of computer for free.

  Most new computers come with a trial version of Office that lets 'x' number of days usuage.

  After this test times out, you will have to buy Office.

  And the product key on the computer case or laptop for the operating system, not for the desktop Suite.
