• Text glow effect disappears when the layers are placed in the text layer. Need help!

  Whenever I have add a layer of white or a white shape under my text layer, the glow on the text layer will show is no longer.  I can't get the glow on the text appears on a transparent background. I use Photoshop in CS3.

  Default Outter Glow has the screen as it has blend mode. on a white background, you need to change to a different mix (normal color, more dark, multiply, or whatever you prefer, experience with some doubt)

  I suggest leaving the white background on all tweaking and if you need output, turn off the white layer before saving transparent

  Problem is that you do not have access to run the direct request of the database. In order to access login as administrator and go to settings-> administrator-> manage Priveliages-> check for direct application of the database options in the list (Ctrl + f and search for direct), you can see run request direct access to database, add the user with whom you work and make its access granted.
  It will work.

  Since 3 days, snapshot is no longer working with one of my VM (is a production machine).

  Vsphere Client 5.5.0 I got a General in vSphere Client error when I do a snapshot. In management of snapshot section, I see no snapshot

  but when I go into the directory of the virtual machine by ssh is to see that below (there are a few photos...)

  I tried to create the snapshot with and without the data from the memory, but it always the same effect. (Snapshot is taken with the virtual machine is turned on).

  • What am I trying to consolidate the disk? Is it safe?

  I found the problem

  Some VM had a disc mounted in vSphere. It worked until last week, don't know why this problem only appears now.

  After you have disconnected the CD, 'manage the snapshot' list still empty, I clicked on consolidate first, after that, back to 'manage the snapshot' and my snapshots

  appeared. And last step, I deleted this snapshot for merge all...

• Creating an HD picture. Need help!

  I want to create a hard disk image of my installation of Vista on my new Dell m6300 percision. The installation of the factory was not fair, that pilots were old and not updates of wich caused a regular BSOD appears. After the update and Setup, some drivers crashed and wouldn't work and do back the drivers did not help so I tried a restore. The restore image has been a waste of time, not only did he waste of hard drive space, but it was just like the original installation and same problems are produced. So I wiped the drives and fresh with my own installation. Now its sweet running, I want to create my own image. I prefer to use the single product of norton that I don't mind not (Ghost) and create a perfect image of my system, but I'm having some problems with ghost that I normally with my other systems.

  The problem I have here is (initially with the recovery partiton and install patition) Ghost would not recognize and see the hard disk of laptop computers at all. After a full format and a reistsllation of Vista with my own partition configuration, decided to see the readers ghost now, but when you go to create an image. It gives an error cannot isolate the disk problem that I can't seem to move.

  If I have problems, create a clone of my disk image. I know vista has its own backup image, but it does not compress the backup as Ghost does. Where a ghosting in the past has been between 6 and 15 concerts, a Vista backup is 35 concerts. If anyone has a solution?

  Any ideas on how to make an image using another program or ways around the ghost to run would be greatly appreciated.

So, I tried to uninstall Firefox, but I get the almost exact message. "You must close all windows to uninstall Firefox."

  I want to reinstall after UN-installing because I use Firefox more often than Chrome. Please help me.

  It may be that Firefox still works, even if the window does not appear.

  If you click the box in the system restore that says "show restore points more" and still can not go back and recover your files, you can try your luck with some programs 'undelete' out there.  You can find a bunch of them at http://www.download.com .

  I would say the lesson here is that it's cheap insurance to get an external hard drive and back up your important data and possibly your system as well.  Heck, you can buy a 16 GB flash drive and do a copy and paste for many things.  A much better solution is to buy an inexpensive external hard drive and a good program of commercial backup (I use Norton Ghost, but there are thousands of others) and set it to make regular backups.  It is the best insurance you can buy.

  Hi, I'm pretty new to dreamweaver so excuse me if this question is stupid or the obvious answer.

  I created my first project in dreamweaver - a "Coming Soon" page for my site Cyber Zombie Coming Soon! and I'm pretty happy with the results considering it was my first time using dreamweaver for a real project of myself without a tutorial.  However, I have a problem with my navigation menu. When my site is displayed in desktop mode, the navigation is fine (screenshot)

  

  But when I reduce the size of my window to represent a mobile , the button interface that is supposed to say "Turn the Navigation" is extremely difficult to see (screenshot)

  

  When I hover over the button with my mouse, it's a little better but still difficult to see (screenshot) and also you do not have a mouse on a smartphone to get high with.

  

  Is someone can you please tell me how I can remedy this. I need the button 'Toggle Navigation' to be more visible, but I don't know how do to change what I used a "bootstrap" navigation menu which had the button built in.

  I am in a project where I need to create a dynamic video like the famous "take this pacifier" where some content are added dynamically to video, but I have not enough experience with as3 (I'm a developer of js).

  Take this screenshot of the video for example, I need to simulate a facebook page with dynamic content in it.

  

  I think to do is create a Movieclip with all the content and insert into the scene on top of the phone screen and on each image, change the position of the MovieClip, which must be deformed to match the screen of the phone.

  All I want to know experienced developers as3 is if it is the best solution or there is another way to do this method requires a lot of manual work to match the coordinates of the screen of the phone.

  In an AS3 FLA, you can place a bitmap image into a movieclip and then the 3D rotation/distort the image. Put the movieclip rotated in front of the screen of the phone. You could even lead to deal with a mobile phone.

  Now, the tricky part is the two things exactly in phase, and something like this I've seen online has been achieved by importing the video in Flash, time

  line, rather than play an external video file.

  I just bought a laptop ACER Aspire V5-571. At the Windows experience index. Intel (R) core, 64-bit. My current project is gettting my 2005 Dell all-in - one 944 to work with my new laptop. I passed on the line and installed the recommended driver and used the printer to scan a document I then sent an email, but for some reason my computer any it will not print a page from an online account. Keeps saying needs of troubleshooting and I need to download the driver, which I did, a Vista 7 64-bit-compatible driver. How can I make this work? or what other driver or update do I need?

  It seems that Vista drivers are the latest Dell has provided.  I noticed that, they say, you have to install all the drivers for this device before installing the Vista (s).  I found the link depending on whether you should check out

  Some older printers have no Windows 7 drivers, but usually the work of those of Vista.  If they are not, you can use XP mode if you have the professional or Enterprise version of Windows 7 Ultimate.  If you have the Home Premium version, you can use him anytime upgrade to professional for $90.  Of course to buy a new printer is always an option too.

  As you probably know, it is the responsibility of the manufacturer to provide drivers.  Many manufacturers have refused to provide any Windows 7 drivers for older devices.
