  I accidentally gave a drive letter to the partition SYSTEM RESERVE.   Assign a drive letter for the reserved system, this is the only way to access the partition through Explorer and itself causes no problems. Drive letters are specific to the o/s kick therefore have effect if the recovery of the operating system is loaded. This is because the BIOS does not work at a partition level.

  Withdrawal of the drive letter will also remove the Explorer views it protects so accidental change and has no effect on anything else.

  Since 3 days, snapshot is no longer working with one of my VM (is a production machine).

  Vsphere Client 5.5.0 I got a General in vSphere Client error when I do a snapshot. In management of snapshot section, I see no snapshot

  but when I go into the directory of the virtual machine by ssh is to see that below (there are a few photos...)

  I tried to create the snapshot with and without the data from the memory, but it always the same effect. (Snapshot is taken with the virtual machine is turned on).

  • What am I trying to consolidate the disk? Is it safe?
  • Can someone help me?

  I found the problem

  Some VM had a disc mounted in vSphere. It worked until last week, don't know why this problem only appears now.

  After you have disconnected the CD, 'manage the snapshot' list still empty, I clicked on consolidate first, after that, back to 'manage the snapshot' and my snapshots

  appeared. And last step, I deleted this snapshot for merge all...

  Maybe this will help someone else...

  Add the composition to make it to the Quebec City under the Module output, select your format (Quicktime movie) effective and make sure that you select RGB + ALPHA. This will display an alpha channel with your film and you will have transparency in the file.

  I also tried different formats and everytime I go to put the text of the image in dreamweaver it is white, black, box ect around the text. the box is always the color of the background color of composition. I also tried to click the transparent button before rendering, but nothing.

  I am new to AE so if you could provide a few step to do what it is I should do

  There are only a few codecs that support alpha channels. If you export a Quicktime Quicktime player displays the background color of the model even if the alpha channel is there. You can render in FLV format and make a flash file, but you may want to export a png sequence. This will support alpha channels and the alpha channel will be visible in Dreamweaver.

  The other option, if you try to do something like an animated gif is to export a Codec Animation Quicktime movie, open this movie in Photoshop, then save for web as an animated gif.

  It would really help if you tell us exactly what you're trying to do with this text. If the film is more than 20 frames, you probably want to learn more about flash and AfterEffects. Google is your friend here. If you just need a still image and then export the composition in the form of Photoshop layers and save for web in Photoshop.

• Creating an HD picture. Need help!

  I want to create a hard disk image of my installation of Vista on my new Dell m6300 percision. The installation of the factory was not fair, that pilots were old and not updates of wich caused a regular BSOD appears. After the update and Setup, some drivers crashed and wouldn't work and do back the drivers did not help so I tried a restore. The restore image has been a waste of time, not only did he waste of hard drive space, but it was just like the original installation and same problems are produced. So I wiped the drives and fresh with my own installation. Now its sweet running, I want to create my own image. I prefer to use the single product of norton that I don't mind not (Ghost) and create a perfect image of my system, but I'm having some problems with ghost that I normally with my other systems.

  The problem I have here is (initially with the recovery partiton and install patition) Ghost would not recognize and see the hard disk of laptop computers at all. After a full format and a reistsllation of Vista with my own partition configuration, decided to see the readers ghost now, but when you go to create an image. It gives an error cannot isolate the disk problem that I can't seem to move.

  If I have problems, create a clone of my disk image. I know vista has its own backup image, but it does not compress the backup as Ghost does. Where a ghosting in the past has been between 6 and 15 concerts, a Vista backup is 35 concerts. If anyone has a solution?

  Any ideas on how to make an image using another program or ways around the ghost to run would be greatly appreciated.

  I think the approach to take here will depend to a large extent what are the characteristics of the request of the House. Where it stores its user and the right information? It exposes an API or perhaps the database tables that you can use for commissioning?

  In general, you need to create the following in IOM:

  (1) a Type of COMPUTER resource
  (2) a COMPUTER resource
  (3) a resource object
  (4) a form of customized process
  (5) a procurement process
  (6) task of process adapters (allows to really reach out to the target application and perform commissioning activities)

  Please come back with more information on what you are trying to integrate with and I can give you hope that some other points.

• Need help to use a diskpart command line to create a partition.

  Original title: diskpart question - please help

  I really need help with the diskpart commands, so I hope someone can help out me. I recently sold a pc on ebay which would include a 320 GB HARD drive. I didn't want to take any chances on the data being restored from the disk I did a "clean up" the disk to be sure.

  Seeing how it would take time, I started after work and went to bed. During the night the XP machine, it worked on that decided to do an update and restart. Long story short, I have more the diskpart command line to create the new partition and format the disk, and I can't (don't know how) get machine XP or 7 to recognize the drive.

  I do not think that it will hire at all, but the reader is sitting in a docking station and mounted in the machine. If someone could help me I would be very happy. If you can give me a list of commands that I need to get this drive back to normal and ready to ship (so the buyer can easily load their own OS) I would be eternally gratefull.

   
  Is there another way besides as diskpart to get the disk to format so I can send it ready for the new owner to install its own operating system?

  Step 1: Format your hard drive using the Installation disc.

  If you have the installation disc, you can format the hard drive.

  To do this, follow the steps below:

  (a) place the installation disk in the system tray.

  (b) restart the system using the installation disc. (This is commonly known as booting from the installation disc).

  (c) during the installation process, you can re-partition and reformat your hard drive

  Note: the process will erase your files and programs, so remember to make backups of your data files and the program before you start.
