I've set up an image processor in Photoshop and is to ignore some jpg files - can I batch convert convert these files to make them compatible?

I have a number of jpg files in a folder that I am running a custom action on.

It works very well for some files, but it completely ignores the others. Even if some of the ignored files are JPG files, I think they could be another type of jpg file, and that's why Adobe is ignorant.

Is it possible for me to batch convert all these files, be it through Photoshop or another program, in a PS compatible files so that the image processor will treat?

Thank you!

The preference file may be corrupted, try to reset as mentioned above.

Except that the only thing comes to mind is he thinks the file is a duplicate one ignores. But that's just a guess.

    I bought the first elements 13 and 13 Photoshop elements according to a trail. I received 1 set of serial numbers to activate Photoshop and 2 sets for first. However, after you type in the first series of numbers for the first, there is no place to type in the second set. How can I check if the first has been correctly activated?

    You get usually just a serial number by program... a list of 24 numbers, 6 sets of 4.

    Click the icon of the program and see if it boots without asking for a serial number.

  • Resize image code does not work for some jpg files

    Hello. I use the code to resize images and store them on the server below. However, with some jpg files, resizing produces a reddish tint on the picture. Any ideas of what could be the cause? I don't know anything about the jpeg encoder, but I do not see the code which makes no sense to me:

    Image resizedImage = null;

    int iWidth = image.getWidth(null);
    int iHeight = image.getHeight(null);

    // This code ensures that all the pixels in the image are loaded.
    Image temp = new ImageIcon(resizedImage).getImage();

    What is so as to create an ImageIcon from an image zero?

    int newWidth = (int)this.targetWidth;

    I don't see where actually use you this variable, then how the image does get resized?

  • Script alert: "Sorry I couldn't treat the following files" (Error Message by using the Image Processor)

    I am a seasoned Photoshop/Bridge CS5 user who has recently upgraded to CS6.  In bridge I ran my first batch of Image Processor, trying to convert a set of RAW. NEF files. PSD files with a basic editing action that I created apply them.  Photoshop CS6 opens the bridge files and applies the actions, but then I get the error message "alert of Script" "Sorry, I could not deal with the following files" and a list of all the files in the batch, I tried to run the script on.  The files all remain open and are saved on my hard drive in a folder created by the Image Processor script, but will not close unless I close them manually.  I never had this problem in CS5 where would apply the actions that you want to the batch of photos one at a time image processor, then save and close.  Reflections on how I can fix this bug?

    Get your number of history States. I moved mine the default of 20 to 60, and all is well. For the record, this action does not work on 16 and 32 bit.

    Remove resetting of the State history, you will get into trouble if you copy more than one file type. If you go with the change above, I would recommend only with one type of output at a time.

    The script should probably define States of high story then put back to the end. The problem with this, is that machines perhaps isn't able to handle the large amount of stages of history. Which means, hit the stages of history can lead to 'out of memory' or "scratch disk is full" errors.

  • Russel Brown Image Processor Pro works is not about Photoshop CC 2015.5.0

    Hi all

    I went to install Russell Brown Image Processor Pro 2.3.1 on my Adobe Bridge / Photoshop CC. I have a Mac computer and that you have installed manually (by following the steps described in the provided Pdf) the Image Processor Pro by dropping plug-ins in their designated files.

    Now, once I did, the Image Processor Pro is displayed in the menu drop-down from the bridge, and when I press on it (once), the only thing it does is to start the Photoshop application without further intervention. There is not a pop-up of any kind.

    I have the latest version of Photoshop CC 2015.5.0.

    My question is, does anyone know a workaround for this problem?

    Thank you

    Update: for what it's worth, I managed to find a Dr. Browns Services facility, and who install it on the site of Adobe here: https://creative.adobe.com/addons/my_addons

    It has an option to install it, which is what I did, and that's available on the CC bridge, however with the warning.

    Whenever I get close the bridge and then run it again, a pop up appears to indicate this:

    I click Yes, and then go the preferences at the bridge, as part of Startup Scripts, activate the Services of RD Browns. I close the bridge, start it again, then get this popup:

    I choose ok, Bridge opens, I go to tools and in its menu, there is Image Processor Pro Dr Browns Services and fully operational.

    As long as I never close the bridge, Image Processor Pro is still there, but whenever I close the bridge, I need to follow the same steps above here.

    Hope this can help someone out there.

  • Bridge Image Processor always creates JPEG or TIFF file, how to change this behavior?

    I searched the web, Bridge and Photoshop forums forums and come empty-handed. (The strange thing is, I know, there used to be a station who answered this question a few years ago). In any case, I use the Image Processor a little, and it works fine except for the annoying behavior of always creating a new folder to store the newly created images.

    I remember the solution is to change a line in a file (XML?) of "JPEG" to «» For the life of me, I can't find which file it is! I think that it used to located down inside the Application Support. I think that.

    Thanks for the help on this, it drives me crazy!

    Jeff

    Thanks for the reply! I am running CS 5.1. Oh, now I see... I never ran the Image in Photoshop, only from bridge processor. You're right, it offers various options of bridge.

    In any case, I found it what I was looking for.

    Opened upward (not running!) the Image Processor.jsx file. I opened it ExtendScript Toolkit. The path is/Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS5.1/Presets/Scripts/Image Processor.jsx

    I'm online 1574 (in other versions, the line number may vary)

    That's what the line says:

    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + "/JPEG/";

    Replace:

    var subFolderText = inFolderLocation + ' / / ';.

    Problem solved. Repeat as needed for other folders you want not created (TIFF, PSD)

    Return to work!

  • Photoshop CS4 Image Processor has stopped working

    My workflow consists of tagging photos in Bridge, then using Photoshop action via the Image Processor since the bridge tools > photoshop menu.  All of a sudden it has stopped working, the image processor box will no longer appear.  When you choose a folder manually through Photoshop, he says I'm sorry I can't complete the file... (as he always says when he is successful) but nothing of Treaty.  I have reset all factory settings.

    OSX 10.5.8 w / Adobe Suite CS4

    I need to get this project done today rather than wasting my weekend doing manual intervention on nearly 2000 photos of next week on the right.  This process has been successful for the last 3 years.

    Thank you very much in advance for your time.

    Thought you GURUS would find it interesting.

    It turns out that the problem was to have the folder I wanted to treat inside too many records.  When you move the folder up 1 level, I was able to deal with.  Apparently, at least for Adobe Photoshop, the image processor will not work if you have a deep file structure.

    Problem solved.  Perhaps this might apply to other Adobe products?

  • Get the image of Excel as a form and save it as a .jpg

    Hello

    I am fairly new to ActiveX and will have a hard time to do a seemingly simple thing: get an image named from an Excel file and save it as a .jpg file.  I've seen similar things for Excel chart objects, but as I understand it the images are "shapes" in Excel and I was unable to find the right method to extract a form. Please, if someone could look at the folder below and tell me if I am on the right track, if there is a better way to do it, or if there is a way to do it at all, it would be useful.  Note that I don't like not how effective a strategy - if I need to register in a middle of another type file, that's fine. The only goal is to be able to extract this image and save it with a click of mouse and without manual intervention.

    Folder contains: 1 example Excel file containing the image named "picture 1"; 1 vi showing the method I found for the export of Excel graphs as .jpg; and 1 vi with the progress that I've done so far tried to get the picture of the Excel file and save it as a .jpg file.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Images licensed as Illustrator and not JPEG?

    When I image licensing I have it selected records in illustrator file and not a jpeg file. How can I fix it?

    Yyou must open in illustrator and save it as a jpg file. You can check the file types before their approval by going to the image details. He said what type of file it is.

    If you only want to jpg files, then uncheck the vectors among search options.

  • Image processor "sorry, I could not deal with the following... * all."

    Hey! I so about 150 files opened in Photoshop. They are for a customer and the customer wanted individually to certain effects on each file. The files are RAW initially, first imported in Lightroom as .dng, then all my tonal changes made in Lightroom. I then opened images as smart objects in Photoshop, with a script of Lightroom. I then did the individual work on each image in Photoshop on the assumption that it would not trouble to save using the Image Processor script. When it came time to save, I tried save as .tif files using Image Processor. I selected the target in the form of open files files, set my destination folder, chose the TIF format and click on run in the top of the window. He shortly after said one very fast without source images, which disappears and then he says: "Sorry, I couldn't deal with the following" and then lists all of the 150 open pictures. It is a big problem because I'm on a lack of time.

    Any help or another idea for how to register all these images open in TIF or PSD even at this stage is extremely appreciated. I think there must be a fix or other road opposite to old fashion one save under...

    Thank you!

    !

    It doesn't look like the IPP will not new document either.

    He can. I added an option that can be set in the script to take care of this problem.

    //

    PROCESS_UNSAVED_IMAGES

    This will allow the treatment of unsaved images. To make this work,

    an unregistered image file is ~ / Desktop. If a file extension is

    not in the name of the image, .psd is used.

    //

    ImageProcessorOptions.PROCESS_UNSAVED_IMAGES = true;

    By default, it is false to get the 'traditional' behavior Set to true will leave PPI to process new images, not registered.

  • Color for the image processor problem

    Hello! I tend to work with dozens to hundreds of batch files and often use the Image Processor to save my changes to PSD files to TIFF.
    But I noticed that when I run image processor to save PSD in uncompressed TIFF format, there is a change in the color of the original file in the created file. But... If I manually record a version of the same PSD TIFF (file > save as > etc.), there is no change in color. So... the question is in the processor.

    Y at - it a setting or preference to avoid this to happen? My computer CPU is insufficient? What Miss me?

    "Include icc profile" is checked (at the bottom of the dialog box).

  • Image processor + Web script record?

    I need image galleries big enough process of batch-for which I ran in general just: Scripts > image processor (where I can scale to size and add copyright to information via an action) and save them as JPGs for social media.

    But as these pictures will be downloaded to my commercial photo site, I need to optimize the specific use 'save for web' settings.

    Is there a simple way to have the Image Processor run settings to save for Web? I start with large TIF files and prefer to download saved jpg directly (no compression of 2 generations)

    I usually process/upload individual images on the Web site using the save for Web feature only. But it is inefficient for large lots that I have now.

    Can I just create an action that integrates the settings to save to the Web?

    I hope I'm being clear here-

    Thank you

    (using the current version of PShop CC 2015 - Mac OS)

    I think that the plugin downloadable x Script would be a better script to use.  Image Processor Pro has more features, then the Image Processor script that comes with Photoshop.  It's a plug-in, you can use it in an action. The plug-in will save the setting you use in the dialog box during the recording of the action in the Action stage.  When the Action is played the script will move its dialog box displays the plugin script uses the setting saved in step of the action.   With the Pro Image Processor, you can save any number of images for each processed image files.

    Save for the is web and options.  File menu > automate > Pro image processor...   Its dialog box looks like this...

  • Image processor freezes, ignore video files?

    I try to use the Image Processor to create a copy of my photo directory but in size much smaller and more low quality. As a shrunken super backup, basically.

    It does exactly what I want, but it keeps freezing on a regular basis. He'll do a few dozen photos then freeze for a minute or two. At this rate, it would take hours just to the part pause, not to mention when it works. I get a "loading" cursor, but otherwise, the program is not responding.

    I tried set to 4 and 7 GB of ram. I have a lot of scratch disk space. My computer seems perfectly capable of handling, an i7 4770. I tried a few times, but he keeps doing.

    Is there something to see on it?

    Edit:

    I think it's to hit the video files and those that are just time consuming. Of course, I have no use to convert a video to a jpg file, is it possible to ignore certain file types?
