  In Windows Mail, I can not open .doc files, I get the error that it is not associated, and he tries to search in appdata/IE5 for a reason any.  PDF, PPT, XLS all work fine.  I tried unassoc to unassociate file types for .doc and .docx associate then again these via Control Panel and it STILL does not work.  I'm at the end of my home please help.

  I had to remove the regedit.  for some reason the mail windows refuses to unassociate so go to regedit, I don't like playing with regedit, but it worked, I deleted and then again, all ok now.

  There is no upgrade path.

  If you buy CS6, be informed on what you get (not better).

  • CS6 is 4 years old.
  • CS6 is no longer supported,
  • CS6 will never be updated, ever.
  • It is 5 versions behind the current 2015 CC.
  • It lacks all the latest bells & whistles found in current versions.
  • But to continue to improve operating systems, subsequently CS6 will stop working in those newer.

  For the money you would spend on CS6, you'd be much better join the creative cloud.

  I use creative cloud to sync my work at home and at the office. The files I created two days ago in the office not, displayed at home and also in the case of cloud in the web. And not: not in archive, or in the trash. The CC "says" on both computers that all files are synchronized, even if they are obviously not. Fortunately, they are always on the computer at the office and I had to "synchronize" them manually via USB key. How will I know the cloud to sync?

  I had a virus on my computer and foolishly made a recovery of the entire system before backing up my files. Now, I've lost everything, including the course materials College 2 and 4 years of photos. I have a HP dv6700 laptop. I brought to a store to support local tech, but after putting my car in a recovery workstation, the workstation was unable to recognize the drive. In the notes they gave me when I went to pick up my computer that they mentioned "Partition is skipped".  After "try file scavenger to recover data, but again once does not recognize the disk partition".  I'm not talking tech if someone can translate? My main question is, is all hope lost to recover my files? And is there anything else I can try?

  I lost all my files and spfile and control files, the good news is I have backup rman of them, the bad news is that I don't know dbid, so the question is how can I find out my database's (gr 10, 2) dbid in this situatioin to restore and recover the database?

  It will show you where you will have a database of State of Mount. Database lost oPs and did not have a dbid before restoring the controlfile.

  @OP if you controlfile autobackup then by default, the format of the file auto save for all configured devices is the substitution variable % F. This format of variable translates c-IIIIIIIIII-YYYYMMDD-QQ, where IIIIIIIIII represents the DBID.
