  Have you tried clicking the small X in the upper right of the tab you want to close? If you click on the big red X in the header of Firefox, it will close the whole window, including tabs. If you just want to close the current tab, use the X associated with this tab and you should be fixed.

  First of all I must emphasize that I keep always up-to-date as soon as a new version of Firefox will appear.

  Now, a few months ago Firefox was able to save complete web pages as a single .htm file (including images and styles). Proof of this is that I have done it then.   Creative Memories Photo Manager probably ejected your camera after you import the images. Check the default settings and change them if you prefer something different.

  If your camera is not displayed as ejection, it is safe to remove it. Damage to the file system wouldn't be possible, but not certain, if he had written active file or buffer not released when the device has been deleted.
