Campaign canvas space

Hello!

We're running out of space on one of the paintings for a campaign to feed. Do you know if we lose the associated data emails if we begin to remove some of the "old"? The other idea we had was to superimpose all the old assets in a corner of the canvas.

Does anyone has taken any other approach to run out of space of the canvas?

Than you in advance for your help!

James

James,

I would like to divide my complex campaigns between several canvases and use move to campaign steps to move contacts between the campaigns. You can shoot several reports to tie them together, but he makes a little easier setup. I fell also on issues in the past when I put too much on a canvas of campaign he caused the application runs slowly when any change to these campaigns.

  • How to unsubscribe and Bouncebacks campaign Canvas break?

There is a checkbox & fall down on the step to send an email that allows you to send the contacts who have unsubscribed or bounced to a given in a campaign (way out) stage in E9. This allows campaigns to avoid contact trapped indefinitely in the first step of email due to the State "excluded email: Bounceback ' or ' excluded from Email: Unsubscribe» In E10, there is a similar feature? I can't find it. I have contacts in the countryside of canvas glued on the top step of the email because of these statutes and I would avoid it.

    Thank you
    Hannah

There are a few things you could do, depending on what you're trying to accomplish here. The first would be to put a decision stage before the stage of e-mail, which could then bouncebacks/unsubscribe directions in an alternative way. I could do this using a shared filter. Also, once stuck, you can manually move/remove stuck contacts by double clicking on the Green numbers in the upper corner of the email step, select the contacts you want to move, choose move/delete as you wish. In addition, it may not necessarily be a bad thing that they get stuck, but perhaps you could better explain your use cases? Hope that helps!

  • Weekly newsletters: campaign canvas recommended?

We work on the passage of our three weekly bulletins of our old ESP to Eloqua and I was wondering how others are implementing their weekly emails campaigns. I really don't want to set up a campaign for each number of each newsletter that this would require 156 campaigns per year (in addition, of course, to every other campaign, we have in place.)

I also think that we will have a separate campaign for each title - our subscribers can choose to receive one, two or three of the titles and try to sort on the Web of campaign that seems too heavy for me.

My thought currently is to implement monthly campaigns that would include four of the five weeks of worth of emails for each title. Or maybe even of the quarterly campaigns. If we did all the quarters, should be only 12 campaigns for the entire year. My biggest concern with this method is that we don't want people who subscribe to the newsletter in the midst of a campaign to receive past issues. We can establish the segment of the campaign to continue looking for new subscribers, but if a person subscribes to a newsletter on May 18, saying, we don't want to get the number that was sent on May 15. Is there a way to implement in the Web of campaign so that it won't happen?

The other concern with the realization of this way is that we build newsletters the day where the day before send them to us, so we would constantly be turn on and off the campaign to add the last email to the canvas. That is problem, is related to people getting old emails or other problems?

Does anyone have advice in general on the treatment of several weekly newsletters Eloqua?

    Thank you.

    Hi Rob,

Really, in this situation, the best practice would be 1 campaign by email newsletter. This will allow you to do 2 things more effectively:

    (1) report on the campaign level without having grouped stats for all the emails of the campaign

    (2) create 1 segment own subscription that should simply be added to the campaign.

While pouvez send you all these emails 1 campaign, I wouldn't recommend it, because of the concerns you listed above. Management of the list would be very difficult, as feeding new members in the location appropriate in the campaign. Secondly, once a country is selected, its highly recommended that you disable it not, especially if there are rules of decision or wait steps (because there would be certainly in this situation). The reason being that if the campaign is disabled during the "end time" a time waiting or an attempt of decision rule, this can cause members to get stuck in the countryside (applies also to program generator, even if it's a little easy to judge that the assessment of the time periods are longer, and assessment is listed at the top of the program so it's easier to know exactly how long you) have to make your changes and reactivate the program.)

I think in this case that while the number of campaigns sounds like a lot, because of how it is easy to set up this simple type of newsletter campaign in Eloqua, really the best option, especially considering the multiple disadvantages of e-mail campaign. The email, you can simply select the gear icon - send batch and have a campaign created for you base. All you need to do is to select the segment, define the notification dates, save it, and press send. Once you get comfortable to do, the whole process should take about 2-4 minutes of each campaign, assuming that you don't need to apply rules of signature or add additional steps.

  • E10 campaign canvas: exclude the bounce/unsubscribe

    Hi all

    19-07-2012 15-44-47.jpg

This is one of my campaigns. I know that these contacts in 1944 in green at the top right 'Email' are contacts do not sent mail because being marked as excluded from bouncebacks or be unsubscribed, by master exclude or overall exclusion. Would it not be better to exclude these contacts in the segment? Then you would have the precise number of marketable contacts in the segment. And if yes: how to proceed? Whose filter criteria possible is correct: 'Marked as hard Bounceback' with the operator 'now '?

Thanks for sharing your best practices.

    Best,

    Michael

I always exclude hard bounces and overall cancels his subscription in my segments so I have a more accurate count. I use the filter 'Marked as hard Bounceback' with the operator "right now" as you said. This works well for me. You can even set up a segment with these filters model so that you don't have to configure them manually every time.

  • Canvas vs campaign program Builder - what is the difference?

I'm fairly new to Eloqua, but I come from a background of automation with solutions like Pardot & Marketo.  No matter which can either answer or direct me in the right direction to understand the fundamental difference between the creation of a campaign against a program?  I have been immersed in Eloqua for the last month and I'm still struggling with this issue.  They seem to offer the same functions and I wonder if campaigns to expand programs or vice versa.  All articles and discussions I've met in my initial research seems to suggest that they can be interchangeable at times so maybe someone knows of a hidden gem article that it responds better than the rest, I lived.  Advice or pointers you can give a new user is greatly appreciated.

Program Builder vs campaign canvas has strong information.

About canvas campaign serves what it either externally (e.g. E-mail blasting, campaigns to feed) and the program Builder is more for the internal work (for example, the addition of data, data cleansing, lead scoring, CRM integration). E9 didn't program generator. The canvas of the campaign resulted in a friendly way more to build automated campaigns.

  • Help - Tablet Iconia B1 - get messages "Email service stopped because of the weak campaigns"

    Hello

When switching on my B1 Iconia Tablet I get message "Email service stopped because of the weak campaigns" and "you can delete the unused e-mail or applications to retrieve campaigns."  Also when trying to download a new application, which is not allowing them installed indicating the space of campaigns.

However, there is much space of campaigns as the shelf a time the built in memory and an extra memory card. Details under settings under campaigns shows:
    Space total 0.98 GB
Apps (content data & media app) 792 MB

    SD INTERNAL
    12,39 GB total space
Apps (content data & media app) 332MB
    Photos, video 9.48 MB
Audio (music, ringtones, podcasts, etc.) 20,00 KB
    Download 7.25 MB
    Available 12,03 GB

    SD EXTERNAL
    29,49 GB total space
    Available 27,00 GB

As you can see from the above information there are plenty available storage space on the shelf.
Also I changed nothing with regard to the settings since the Tablet (about 3 months) so it still has factory settings.

Please can you advice how to fix this problem so that email and download installation restored to the tablet.  I would appreciate it if all instructions to solve the problem can be detailed step by step easy to follow.

    Thank you

If you go into settings, on the Tablet, which is listed under the device information?

I think that the main problem you see is that the email app is eager store items in the 'main' part of the files, not the SD card internal or external space.  If you are looking to ~ 200 MB total space, which may be too weak so that it can consider the space of "viable."  (1 GB-800 MB = 200 MB)

I suggest you move the extra apps, etc. from the main space on the SD storage.

  • Can I use program generator to change a field in the contacts that run a campaign?

I am a new user, Eloqua, from a company that is a new client Eloqua (E10), try to penetrate the opaque world of the program Builder (PB).  I have spent some time looking for answers, but just empty and hope you can help: to end a pretty simple campaign of the canvas (CC) campaign, I want to edit a field in a contact to indicate that the contact has traveled the countryside. (We want to be able to easily return the bit on this area apart from Eloqua so that the customer returns in the campaign).

I know CC this is impossible, but I gleaned that can of PB. And if I understand correctly, CC can put contacts in a program of PB.  My question: How can I build (and a link to my campaign) a PB simple program to change the value of a single field in everyone who enters the program through campaign canvas?  Is it still possible?  Is there a simpler way that I don't see?  I am really a beginner, so be gentle if I'm missing something basic.

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can go to the canvas of the campaign on the program generator. You can still run a segment on the contacts that have responded to a campaign, if you're looking for just a way to pull the contacts who have or have not entered a campaign. Here is a basic outline of what you try to do with PB and the canvas of the campaign.

To update the field in the program generator, you need to first put in place a rule update for updating the contact with a value field. (Updated contacts--> data tool--> new rule). Use the option 'Set to Value' in the update rule.

Then build a program in PB with three steps - Enter (passage of the stage), update a Contact with the updated rule, program output.

Then, as a campaign backdrop, choose either the "add a program" or "move to the program." 'Add' will maintain contacts in the campaign and 'Add' the program 'move' will move them to the campaign in the program. Whatever it is, choose the update program and step 1 at the stage of the campaign.

Do you need more specific information?

  • Can we define a field value of contact with the CRM campaign settings ID campaign?

    Hello

Can we define a field value of contact with the ID of CRM campaign?

For example: LAST campaign SFDC ID (field of contact) = CRM campaign (campaign) No.

The Eloqua campaign canvas has the possibility to update CRM directly with the status of the campaign on things like email send or clicks. IF you set these shares to be among the rules of the answer, then as they happen, they will create/update records of campaign in CRM directly responses. However, this will have an impact on information in Eloqua.

  • E10 Campaign vs program Builder - not what I expected?

We just moved to e10 upward after being on e9 for a looooong time. So forgive me if I'm not seeing things correctly.

If I get this right, you can't do a little data manipulation in the Web of campaign? For example, if a contact opens an e-mail, update the status of Member of campaign response, change lead status, etc..

You should always use the program for this generator? So tell me why I use the canvas of campaign? Seriously. Almost every campaign I was running must come out of a program. So now I have 2 entities in Eloqua to maintain?

How to guide my thinking on that? Are campaigns are basically just a place to park my property such that it allows combined campaign? So it's NOT different team e9?

Talked to the (very useful as usual) support and hit the support site. The answer is Yes, do any manipulation of data, etc., you must use the program generator. I voted up to the feature request on the ideas, please do the same if you feel same - the idea is called "feature program Builder in E10 campaign canvas."

  • export of resolution issues of

    Hello
I have imported a picture of my camera in the application of draw adobe illustrator as a layer, drew on him on another layer and then exported it to my camera.

However, when I discovered this new drawn on the photo in my camera there is a huge white border. When I Zoom, the resolution is also bad.

I'm working on an iPhone 6 s with all software fully updated.
I want the final product to the same resolution and the same size as the original, I just took, but just image with a picture on it.
    Thank you!

    Hi Sandy,

At the present time, there is just no high-resolution option to export directly from the app. Thus, when you save the image on your camera it will be recorded at a resolution of 2048 x 1536px (including all white canvas space). Have you tried Zoom as far as possible, then save to your camera? Who will save the image to a higher resolution.

Because this is a feature that many people ask, the product team is studying options to export high resolution directly from the app.

    I hope this helps somehow.

    Sue.

  • Member of the list does not sort all members sharing

    Hello
We are waging a campaign of webinar and have set up a member of the shared list decision intervenes campaign canvas to filter people who registered for the webinar. List shared after removing duplicates and cancels the subscription is of 162 people, but after we activated the campaign results in the waiting canvas campaign watch 113 step. This means that 49 people who have registered for the webinar received a new invitation asking them to register for the webinar even. Does anyone know why the filter was not able to separate the 30% of the list provided. The list has been verified in the library shared after the initial download and I created a segment of test to see if the system would win 49 people but could not recreate the scenario. Any suggestions as to why this is happening? I have attached my Web of campaign for reference.

According to Eloqua, if your credentials are configured for NA then only you will be able to run any file outside this region.

Either you have to update your credentials configuration or need to update the records area.

  • Canvas campaign - LP "connection" missing - why?

    Hi guys,.
I had created a campaign month where the LP was "automatically" related email which refers to it with a "gray line".

However, I just created another campaign today and there is no "connectors," even if the email beside the LP in fact live for this LP.

    See the reference image.

Do you want to know why this happens? I thought that the 'connector' always shows no matter what... ?

NOTE: the only difference in the e-mails is that one created today is dynamic. Which could have an influence on the issue and prevent eloqua of understanding it should be "binding" for the LP in the canvas... ?

    Thank you!!

    Hi Sonja,.

It's ok if your landing page has multiple links to the same landing page. I was referring that landed more of a page (two different pages) assembled as part of the e-mail even.

You don't have to open the destination page. You must simply remove the component from the Web of the campaign landing page, then re add it using the method I mentioned earlier.

    (1) remove landing page canvas: I the Cabinet in black below. Record.

    (2) add the launch of the component of email page. See the image below. Landing page which is linked to the e-mail appears at the bottom right (circled in green). Then save.

  • How to make a bird feeder on canvas campaign entering contacts coming to submit a form without entering the same person twice?

Thus, we are about to spread our first campaign of stream Nurture (woohoo!) and I'm trying to figure out how to do a segment that feed only new prospects (Eloqua contacts) who recently completed a form, without putting twice in the same person.

Is there sort of to do so and to ensure that they will not re-entered in our feed, Nurture, because we do not want to receive them the same e-mail twice and pushed all the way up until the beginning of the stream of the innate?

Aid or redirects to prior messages, that I may have missed would be super useful, thanks!

The canvas of default campaign will not accept that a contact enter the campaign once; This can be checked by navigating up the gear icon > settings, make sure that the checkbox "Allow contacts to get into the campaign more than once..." is unchecked.
