  You recently updated Firefox? Which will cause the folder "Old Firefox data" appears on the desktop. The "old firefox data" is basically old data of Firefox, as its name suggests. You don't need, but you can use as a return to the top if you wish, although it is highly unlikely that you need or like it. Check out this thread for more details. This issue is not related to the update of firefox.

  Hi fourtwojaw, the old data of Firefox folder is created or updated when you use Refresh in Firefox. The semi-randomly-named folder inside contains your old settings, which some have been preserved in the refresh (such as bookmarks) and some are only in this folder. If you have not noticed something important missing, you can remove the folder, but I suggest allowing a few weeks because you will not notice the loss immediately.

  I downloaded https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/oldbar/ and it doesn't make a difference unless I'm supposed to do something with the download later.

  The oldbar extension still works fine with the latest version (Firefox 9).

  You should be able to see at least the content of the CD if you their finalized correctly when you burn in Win2k. The problem is finding a program that can read the old format Wordperfect BACK. So please clarify what you mean when you say you can't 'read CD '.

  Sounds like you just disable the tabs. It was a novelty, and not everyone welcomed it. Go to general Preferences and disable the option to open new documents in a new tab.

  To reinstall XI... well before you start, you would need the number series. Have you yet (does not tell us the number!)

  These are images that are missing. You must locate and copy the appropriate images. You should be able to determine what their filenames are by looking at the source of the files. Once you sort who, just copy the images too.

  Or, if you repeatedly dealing with this, copy the images to the list of files of luggage so that they are populated by automagickally.

  It's not bad.

  These files are all in the same Firefox profile folder?

  They have the name of places.sqlite or is there something added?

  You only need one of them and this is the file that Firefox currently uses to store the history and bookmarks.

  You can check for problems with the database places.sqlite file in the Firefox profile folder.

  Thank you, Bruce. But I found an answer very simple in an answer to a similar question in this forum. Since I have an XP Pro PC, I could copy the appropriate files from the folder System 32 to Windows XP on a USB and then put the files in a new folder on my Win 7 PC.

  Here are the file names:

  Cards.dll, freecell.exe, sol.exe, mshearts.exe, spider.chm, spider.exe, spider.hlp and winimine.exe.

  In fact, I think that cards.dll and sol.exe would be sufficient for the other files associated with other games.

  There is no such thing as the column browser.search.showoneoffbuttons in everything: config. It's there, but then I changed to false and restarted Firefox. Nothing has changed. I went back over there and don't know what happened, but the column is not there at all now.

  I tried to restore firefox to default settings, but that did not help.

  There are many parameters in the current version of the CTR, so it is not always easy to find what you are looking for.

  You can find this function in the Options/preferences of CTR.
