I am able to create a data source with success with the SOAP service, but how to display the data in the external list as external list uses only as data sources for external content types.

    Also with WCF as external content type, it is only on WCF services or any kind of web services can be added as an external content type.

    I have a program that everytime I run it it comes up with a pop up with the message - an unidentified program wants to access your computer.

    Then I say yes I want this program to run.  How do I get Windows Vista to accept this program as legitimate and the pop up appears every time?

    The message is part of the UAC (User Account Control) and is intended to inform you that a program should be high administrative) privileges to run.

    An unidentified program is one that is not a valid digital signature from its publisher to ensure that the program is what it claims to be. However, you must exercise extra caution and only allow this program to run if you obtained it from a trusted source, such as the original CD or a publisher site.
