I want to crop a photo to specific dimensions of px
I can draw a box on the photo with the marquee tool, and it would be perfect if I could size the box in pixels, but I don't see a way to do. Did I miss something? Or I have to use another tool? Looks like the marquee selection tool would be perfect if I could size.
Enter the width in pixels / height in your crop tool at the top of your screen. Or click on unconstrained > size & resolution custom preset that you can re - use. Click on the screenshot.

Here's a way to do it. In fact, I use myself a lot when taking pictures of this site (and because the program Paint is available on all of my computers without having to install anything).
- After selecting the zone, copy again (it will copy just the selected rectangle)
- Start a new painting file (press Ctrl-N shortcut to start a new file)
- Paste the newly copied image (that you copied in step 1)
- Save the file.

Hi, after plug the cable on my phone i 6 to connect with my mac book air, nothing appear on the mac book.
Seems like it can't detect the file i phone 6. I want to export my photos and do the upgrade version.

Photos? I have a number of pictures I want to make a photo book. However, the photos in question appear only in a 'Pictures' folder as "iPhoto events." I can't copy them into a book format. Can someone help me or show me how to transfer these photos in a Photo Book album?

I exported the photos in a folder with the photos sequentially named. Now I want to export more photos in the same folder, but take the sequential numbers where the last export was stopped. So if the last photo was named Apr_409, I want the following to be Apr_410. Not Apr_1 (1). Any advice? Thank you!
Hat is not a feature of Photos.
If you want to make sure your new export is sorted after previous export, change the field "sequential prefix" in the Panel of the export to a string, which will be sorted after the original prefix you have chosen.

I want my pictures to download on my iCloud but I don't want all my previous photos on my phone because there are just a lot of space and I have run out of space. Can I disable the download of photo sharing but allow for photo streams to make this or how can I make this happen? I just want to still my photos go to my Mac and iCloud so I can have my photos without danger...

iCloud is a synchronization service, NOT off of storage of the unit.
You could cut the phone out of sync from your library. Just move them to your Mac and synchronize your Mac with iCloud. Now, you'll have plenty of space on your phone, but no pictures.
From your Mac, you can then make an album with photos that you want to access from your phone. This will require ongoing work, but will keep your clear phone in most of the time.

You continue to have images full resolution until you start running out of space. Then the resolution will change accordingly. Leave it alone.

I have an adobe Lightroom instaled on my computer... I bought a CD. What I have to buy Lightroom for my iphone or does it with her. I have the Lr app on my phone and it works but when I want to sync my photos, it says trial has expired...
LR mobile only works and comes with the basic version of subscription of LR for computers. Of course, you can download LR mobile on your iPhone and use for a 30 day trial, but once the 30 days it will stop working.

For a recent funeral where the mourners were mourners came from far and from all directions, I wanted to tag a photo of a card to send an email to allow them to find the crematorium (GPS was not an option for most!). This has led many dotted lines of drawing and my usual 'technical fudge' draw a regular straight line then DAB the brush with the approximate background color at a regular interval would not be easy with the number of lines to draw. I look in vain for an option for me to do and was about to return to my "fudge" when I found the features of Style / dotted. Asked me if I wanted to replace the current Styles with those of dotted styles. Thas here no explanation of what he meant-Nevertheless, I selected Yes. My first line 'test' was off the card and several pixels wide I would have used - it was released as a sort of cross between an old 1960s DP Punch tape and an offset miniature piano keyboard. Clear and straight to the Styles/Reset Styles, I chose to replace the default style, thinking to be the inverse of the previous question. On the tool Options bar, right click (Cmd + click on Mac, if I recall) button (far left) of the tool presets > reset all tools.
You'd probably want to chart a path to achieve what you want (with dotted lines). Google or Bing "shot on way photoshop cs4" for more details.
