  Once you buy the Mac version of your friend, you can go ahead and ask for an exchange of Windows platform.

  Make sure that your friend is a "licence transfer" through Adobe. Once the "transfer license" is over, the serial number will be saved under your account and you will be the current owner of the license.   The master password in Thunderbird protects passwords stored in Thunderbird. It prevents anyone from reading mail already downloaded on your computer.
  FYI: this is a public forum and view passwords lets everyone with your wife know what it is. Not very smart.

  Bob, I, personally, would eliminate the settings to see if that helps.  When you do this it can give you a clue to the other program involved.  The worst that can happen is that you need to reinstall the other program.

  You need to download the HP eprint and use it to try to print your photos. There are many printing options available.
