I want to get rid of the bar that keeps going from top of my screen Windows 8.1

Is a black bar that tells me where I come from and I have to keep clicking on it to get rid of - whenever I put my cursor anywhere near the top of the page - he comes down and tells me where I am as I did not already know that!  It's really annoying. It isn't the charms bar or bottom task bar.  Help

  1. Do not use the touch applications
If you are using a desktop computer, you can consider using office programs instead of applications built for touch screens.
  2. Do not use a mouse pointer
Still, if you use a mouse pointer, you can consider using programs that were designed for users of mouse (desktop programs) instead of the tablet interface.
  3. Use your fingers
It will never appear if you use your fingers, which is how these applications have been designed to be used.
  4. If you want to really use a soft touch without use your fingers, then avoid pointing to the top of the screen.  Or, ignore it: just because it occurs does not mean that you can not just continue to use your application normally.

  • Cannot get rid of the bar low "Launcher" of my homepage.

I have Google as my home page. The one with only the bar of search text with Firefox logo above it. Nice and clean.
Now I get what is called a toolbar "launcher" on my homepage to Google, and I would like to get rid of him. I found by right-clicking the page "Inspect element Q" shows the code for the 'toolbar' and from what I understand, that this is a feature of Firefox. I want to get rid of. Are there changes to the code that I can do in the window of the Q element that will eliminate this toolbar "launcher"? Thank you!

This line in the userContent.css file should hide the bar:

    @-moz - document url("about:home") {#launcher {display: none! important}}

    Thank you.

Versions of Firefox 3.6 + have a feature to allow the user to hide the Menu bar.

Press the Alt key to temporarily show the Menu bar, then open view > toolbars and select menu bar, so it has a check mark.

The F10 can also be used on most PCs to temporarily reveal the menu bar.

    Original title: Starting Multiple.

I run 4 HDD... XP pro, Vista ultimate, Windows 7 ultimate, win 8 multiboot... XP is naturally the boot drive, now if I want to get rid of this OS I have to reinstall the other or how can it be done?

The startup for all 4 information are stored on the hard drive of Windows XP which is the boot drive. You should probably do a repair installation using your CD-ROM of Windows 8.

  • How can I get rid of the private browsing page when you open a new private window?

When I opened a private page of private browsing navigation appears and says this:

    Private browsing

Firefox don't remember the history of this window.

In a private browsing window, Firefox will retain all the history of the browser, search history, download history, form web history, cookies or temporary internet files. However, files you download and bookmarks you make will be kept.

While this computer will not have a record of your browsing history, your internet service provider or your employer can always track the pages you visit.
