I want to go back to opening...

I "upgraded" to Photos a few weeks thinking I'll just try it, being a closed user of Aperture for years... and when I imported the photos (thousands..) of Aperture for Photos... I had no idea she take them all out of the opening and leave it empty... I do not like the Photos... at all... and want to continue with an opening... How can I get my photos in Aperture the way they were... projects albums a whole? Any who feel the same? or am I missing something with Photos... ?

Note clear what you were doing

Migration to the pictures are not all doesn't include any import and has no effect on the aperture library so what you describe is no not any sense

All you need to do to get back to the opening is run (you must open 3.6) and continue on the front, nothing is changed by a correct migration of Photos (or even an incorrect import for Photos)

If you managed to ruin everything just restore your backup of the Aperture when library it was good and moving forward

41 of Firefox is no longer uses the browser.newtab.url setting in about: config because he was constantly attacked by malware. From 41 of Firefox, you need an add-on to change the new tab page.

Here are a few options (I'm learning more all the time):

    • If you are already using the extension classic restaurateur theme: There is an option somewhere (!) in his dialogues of the parameters to select another page in the new tab.

    Setting up substitute again tab

After installing this extension, you must use the Options page to set the new desired tab page (instead of use subject: config).

Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: Cmd + shift + a)
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the side right, find the new tab override and click the Options button. (See first screenshot attached).

Depending on the size of your screen, you may need to scroll down to enter the address in the form. (See second screenshot attached). For example:

    • (Default) page thumbnails = > subject: newtab
    • Blank tab = > subject: empty
    • Built-in Firefox homepage = > topic: welcome
    • Any other page = > full URL of the page

Then tab or click this form field and you can test using Ctrl + t.

    Success?

Once you have set it as you wish, you can close the Add-ons page (or use the back button to return to the list of Extensions of this Options page).

  • Do not like and want to go back, or use other products

Do not like the new Firefox and wants to go back, or use other products such as the chrome

None of these methods works to open the Options page:

    • button '3-bar' menu > Options

      • Or if you have moved the Toolbar Options, this is the gear icon
    • Tools menu > Options

      • If you do not normally display the menu bar, press the Alt key to temporarily show

If you get the same error in both directions, your installation of Firefox could be damaged. To do this, I suggest:

    Clean reinstall it

We use this name, but it isn't about deleting your settings, this is to ensure that the program, files are clean (not incompatible, corrupt or exotic code files). As described below, this process does not disrupt your existing settings. Don't uninstall NOT Firefox, that does not need.

    (A) download a fresh Installer for Firefox 40.0.3 of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

    (B) the release of Firefox (if any).

    (C) to rename the program folder, either:

    (Windows 64-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files (x86)\OldFirefox

    (Windows 32-bit folder names)

    C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

    TO

    C:\Program Files\OldFirefox

    (D) run the installer downloaded to (A). It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

    No improvement with the toolbars?

Note: Some plugins can only exist in this OldFirefox file. If it is missing something essential, present in these files:

    • \OldFirefox\Plugins
    • \OldFirefox\browser\plugins
  • Tried to download the last update, no compatible system, now browser does not work even when I tried to download it again. I have bookmarks, I want to come back.

Currently, I have a Mac, version 10.5.8. My Firefox was slow so I tried to download the latest version. When it was downloaded, a message pops up saying that this version of Firefox is not compatible with my system. Well, ' don't quite no fault "I thought and I tired to go back to my previous browser.
But when I went to click on it, there was a large circle with a line through it. I couldn't open anything. Firefox has actually been removed from my computer.
Now it's ok if I can't start Firefox more but I got thousands of bookmarks, compiled over the years that I really want to go back. And I have no idea how to do that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello world.
I have downloaded the old version of firefox, replaced the new with the old and boom! They were there!

Sorry for the runaround. Just goes to show that you should always have backups for things.

    Thanks anyway.

  • my wifi password has been changed and now I want to get back in touch with the new password HOW

my wifi password has been changed and now I want to get back in touch with the new password HOW

    Hey gerritfrompretoria,

If you are not prompted to use the new password to your Wi - Fi network when trying to connect, you may have to remove the network on your system. This can be done by the following steps.

    1. Open system preferences in the Apple menu
    2. Choose the network
    3. Select a Wi - Fi connection on the left
    4. Click Advanced... in the bottom right
    5. Choose your network from the list of preferred networks
    6. Click on the '-' at the bottom of the list
    7. Click OK
    8. Click on apply

Once removed try to connect to your Wi - Fi network normally and you will be prompted for the password.

    Sincerely

Have you checked the target line in the properties of the desktop shortcut?

You can check the suspicious extensions or recently installed unknowns.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • I want to go back to Firefox than Firefox 32 31. How can I do this?

I found that Firefox 32 is not compatible with the theme of Windows 7 desktop that I currently use (high contrast white theme). I tabled this question like a bug on Bugzilla site, but until they get this issue fixed, I want to go back to Firefox 31.

    My questions are:
    1. what I have to uninstall Firefox 32 first, or can I just install Firefox 31 on 32 of Firefox?
    2. get lost (or ruining) my settings of Firefox by doing this?
    3. where can I get Firefox 31?
    4. is there a way I can stop the automatic updates of Firefox does not happen and instead get a prompt?

Thanks for any information, that anyone can give on this subject.

Because the latest versions of Firefox contain the latest security patches, old versions of Firefox may have security or functionality problems. For this reason, we do not recommend downgrade your version of Firefox.

If you want despite any downgrade Firefox, you can download any version of Firefox from here.

Can I ask you why you're decommissioning?

Now, the answers to your questions:

    1. You should be able to simply install Firefox 31.0 and should replace version 32.0.
    2. Your settings should stay the same, however, I would recommend your application data backup in case something goes wrong.
    3. See above
    4. This setting can be changed partners to automatic updates can be found under the tab 'Advanced' from the Options window

There is no compatible version of my Add ons or extensions and I lost a boat load of tabs I had saved and I want them back so I want to go back to the previous version of firefox... I now have the new 17.0 and not happy, I lost all my info and settings

    u need to uninstall firefox...

older version Google Firefox... u should get a link from the site . mozilla.org ... Download the version you want... probly the most current version will work for you... then... and this is important... you disconnect from the internet before u install the old version or firefox will automatically update your installation to 17 FF... install the old version just above what you have now (17 or other)

Once installed, go you ahead and connect to internet...

I just lowered the mark 17 FF FF 16 like this, BC. This is th only way firefox tabs work and I lost Tab Mix Plus...

  • I want a new tab to open as my homepage not several pages

I want a new tab to open with my google homepage and not several pages that are of no interest to me. It seems if you switch the off option only get you a blank page. If you use add functionality that it doesn't now. This 'upgrade' is a nuisance.

Home page in a new tab

There are several ways suggested to do, but the easier for many users has been this add-on-> https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/custom-new-tab

If you are referring to the research in the Add-ons Manager (Firefox button > Modules or Tools > Modules) this problem seems to have corrected yesterday afternoon. If you are referring to something else, you will need to give more detail on what you're trying to do, the steps your are taking, what are the results of your actions, and what you expect as results.

  • Laptop 15ba038ca: when I turn on the computer I want to google.ca to open and want the option to open new tabs/pages

When I turn on my new laptop, I want to www.google.ca to open and I want to be able to open new tabs/windows from this page. I tried to set the default to open this page, but it seems stuck on "Edge".

    Hello

You use Windows Edge as default browser?

    (a) If Yes, then try to google.ca as your home page by using the following configuration:

    http://www.HP.com/global/us/en/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/photo-creations.html

    (b) if not, what browser do you prefer? Firefox, Chrome, or something else?

    Kind regards.

  • How can I get the old function to choose which page I want to go back to? I run Firefox 8.0.1.

In older versions of Firefox, the back button has a small chip of a button allowing you to return to a specific page, until like 10 pages back. So if you knew that you wanted to go back two or three pages, you don't have to hit the back two or three times, you simply press this button and then select the page you wanted back. Can I have this option in Firefox 8.0.1? Thank you

Click and hold the unified back / next button, or right-click to get the rear / front in the history of this tab.

Or install this extension to get the restored former "drop-marker" button.
