  I recently bought a new PC upgrade from XP to Win 7 64 bit. (See the Photo of my new computers plug please. I can't copy/paste of text in this forum.)

  This PC was bought to replace one of my XP machines who died after 6-7 years of service 24/7, and I need something quick and inexpensive to replace.

  I had Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 on it and moved in my Win 7 64 bit machine. Then, I upgraded Photoshop and Illustrator, Illustrator CS5, and Photoshop to Photoshop CS5 Extended.

  I've always loved and used Nvidia video cards, and I want to update this new PC with one, because there just the integrated graphics card Intel HD. This Win7 machine has plenty of room to expand and add upgrades.

  I know I also have to upgrade from OEM 300 watt power. Planning on a good high quality PS 650 Watt modular or more if necessary.

  This PC Win7 will be regulated to surf the web in General and very light game once I build my graphic PC dedicated later on this year.

  So I would get a decent Nvidia card most likely in the GeForce line for this machine which allows the full use of all of Photoshop CS5 Extended and illustrator CS5.

  In the price range of $150.00 - $200.00. I was looking at it on Amazon.

  My thoughts on purchasing a good card now for a future Build are, it is not very wise to me.

  This store bought PC will run my Photoshop CS5 CS5 Extended/Illustrator for about a year, I would say that perhaps a little earlier, maybe not tho.

  So buying a good or decent Nvidia Quadro card now, will not be a year from now, or at least the price will probably have dropped some of todays price for it.

  So I am in need of a mid range all around Nvidia card most likely a GeForce card.

  I want to run Photoshop and everything is pretty decent features without any gray areas in the Performance preference settings.

  I have to go to the sea on this PC, just get all that photoshop has to offer, all that this is a bit slower than a $2,000.00 Quadro card for now.

  I'm a Nvidia guy completely, just like I'm a guy of Intel CPU.

  I already bought the new PC Tower for the new construction, a CoolerMaster 690 II Advanced Nvidia Edition.

  Save money for all the other stuff and do not start buying all until I can buy it at the time. So the price of some items, I booked will be either down or replaced with parts updated in a year.

  The best I7 out today, with half the cost 8 months to a year from now, know what I mean.

  Photoshop is just a hobby relaxing for me, I want to just that this PC running decent without breaking the Bank at the moment. A lot of break the Bank will be delivered with the dedicated machine.

  If I understand correctly, that adobe sells no obsolete versions of its software, is probably not possible to buy Photoshop CS5 Extended Adobe more.

  in cs5 extended. 3d cube scarf only allows all sides of the cube to have an opacity.

  Im trying to make a hole that goes through the cube and out the other side.

  Ive tried the masks of layer, but without success.

  any ideas.

  Here's the quick sketch.

  New shape from layer > Cube:

  1. create the new doc RGB w/transparent background

  2 3D > new shape layer > Cube

  3 window > 3D to display the 3D Panel (I generally keep it filtered on stage and get him out of there mooring is)

  4. click on the low left icon and select "Show all" to get all the widgets/guides visible 3D using the 3D tools

  5. Select the 'Right_Material' in the Panel and in the options/attributes below box, create a new texture for the opacity texture mapping. Repeat the procedure for the 'Left_Material '.

  6. open the textures of opacity

  7 display rules and draw 2 guides to target the central point.

  8. Select the tool shape of Ellipse (U) and drag a forced shift circle, snap the Center guides. Double click on the nuance in the layers panel, and then set the color to black. Repeat for the left and right sides. Close and save the files.

  9 move the 3D camera to see the two holes

  Regrowth:

  1. create the new doc RGB w/transparent background

  2 display the rules and get 2 guides to target the central point.

  3. Select the tool shape of Rectangle (U) and drag a forced shift square, snap the Center guides. Select the Ellipse shape tool and drag a circle of forced displacement "subtract from shape area" (Alt + Shift + do drag). Now select the path Selection (A) tool and select the path of the circle, then drag snap it toward the Center.

  4 3D > regrowth > selected path... (click Yes in the dialog box for information)

  5. at the bottom of the regrowth dialog box, choose the "hole" of internal stresses: Type:. Click the OK button.

  6. move the 3D camera to see the results. If you want to re-edit the mesh back, go to 3D > regrowth > change in regrowth...

  If all goes well, that gets you play. I'll fill in more details tomorrow.

  Adobe sells no earlier version of the software, but you may be able to find always sold CS6 (CS4 is not in the path of upgrading for CS6 however).

  What is the operating system of your new computer? 10 Windows and OS X 10.11 have been known to cause problems with older software like CS5. OS X 10.11 El Capitan, in particular can encourage error messages misleading because of its default security settings. To work around this, go to the security in the Apple menu, and on the Security tab and general privacy, change the rocker "Anywhere". When you are finished installing Gatekeeper, reset your preferred 'egi' setting.

  

  If this does not solve your issue, can you give us more details to help us solve the problems? You download from Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products? If so, you receive a specific error message?

  I just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 extended 12.0 Version x 64 on a new hard drive running El Capitan. It works fine until I want to print when it closes immediately. It; s OK print a copy - but then I can not change the print settings. Also OK with Word. I can print from my laptop is nothing to do with the printer.   Photoshop CS5 is only compatible with Camera Raw to version 6.7. Photoshop CS5 is is no longer updated by Adobe. The best way to have the latest version of Photoshop is to his scribe for the package of creative photography of cloud. This would have the latest version of Photoshop and Lightroom. You will receive updates of these two programs through the creative cloud.

  If you don't want to upgrade your Photoshop you can download and use the DNG Converter last to create digital copies of (DNG) negatives of your raw images. You would be able to use these files with the software you already have. But you won't receive updates for the software you are currently using. Your new device photo, the 70 d, requires camera Raw 8.2 which is only compatible with Photoshop CS6.
