I want to restore my computer to 21/09/11, but that date is not available

I want to restore my computer to 21/09/11. Only available restore points return 09/10/11. How can I reset the restore to 21/09/11 point?

* original title - network programs network networking Internet Web site Site Web Web Site URL *.

Hi Jim9or,

You can only choose the restore point in the list of restore points that are available in the system restore.

If the 21/09/11 date is not available in the list of restore points, you will not be able to restore your computer to this particular date.

Hope the helps of information.

    The PC settings app > recovery under the update section, you should see the option to reset PC.

    Hello

    If the information I am providing does not work, you will need to contact your computer manufacturer for assistance that these discs that you made are their recovery to factory settings software process.

    Microsoft plays no role in their recovery process.

    I'm glad that you have saved all of the data because the hard drive will be wiped clean during the recovery process.

    To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk, you did and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

    You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

    How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

    And as you never received a recovery disk when you purchased your computer (you have done your own disks) there should be a recovery Partition on the hard drive to reinstall Vista on how you purchased your computer.

    The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

    Ask them to the proper key sequence.

    See you soon.

    Here is a guide to back to factory settings.

    Ask your computer manufacturer to get the EXACT instructions:

    How to get Vista recovery Media and/or to use the Vista recovery Partition on your computer.

    There is no Vista free download legal available.

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ask them if you can also make recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

    They will tell you how to do this.

    Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
    A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
    The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.
    There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
    If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
  • I want to restore my computer to a point, four months ago. How do I do that?
    I want to restore my computer to a point, four months ago. How do I do that?
    I think that the only option you have is to look at the date in the system restore. You can start the system restore command by typing rstrui.exe in search and run it.
    Good luck.
  • I tried to set the parental control and received this message: because this computer is connected to a domain, Parental controls are not available.
    I have the internet Charter.  I am a home user.  I tried to set the parental control and received this message: because this computer is connected to a domain, Parental controls are not available.  Again, I am a home user.  What does that mean?
    Hello
    1. which user account you are using for Parental control (Please note that you cannot apply parental controls on a user admin account? It can be applied to standard user only accounts)?
    2 have you made changes on the computer before this problem?
    I ask through the following article to find out how to set up Parental controls:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/products/features/parental-controls
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/set-up-parental-controls
    After completing the above links persist issue please fallow the mentioned below of the methods.
    Method 1: Disable UAC (User Account Control) and check the result
    See http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-change-the-behavior-of-user-account-control-by-using-the-slider
    Note: You must restart your computer when you enable or disable UAC. Change levels of notification does not require that you restart your computer.
    Important: Enable UAC after you complete the steps.
    Method 2: If the problem persists, try to set the parental control in safe mode and check the result. If you are able to apply settings in safe mode, this means that some program is causing this problem, mainly the security software.
    See http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
    Hope the above information is helpful.
    1 can't read on a Windows "upgrade version" which, in my experience, does NOT require you to format your drive... updated on what you have, without disturbing programs installed... at least that's what happened the ONLY time wherever I installed an upgrade version, so I can't give a 100% guarantee that it will work with your computer in this way... search link for all the things Microsoft http://search.microsoft.com/search.aspx?mkt=en-US&setlang=en-US
    2 - depending on the hardware you have, you may not be able to run programs CC well, or not at all
    3 CS6 is 3 years and is the ONLY non - CC version always sold... unless you can find a "legal" somewhere CS5
  • I have Firefox 5.0.1 and a theme I want download says it works with Firefox 4.0b9pre - 7.0a1, but at the top, he says that he is not available for my platform. What should I do?
    I just downloaded Firefox 5.0.1 and one of the themes I want to download and try says it works with Firefox 4.0b9pre - 7.0a1. Upstairs, however, it is said that the theme is not available for my platform. He arrived with a few other themes as well, but I didn't check what versions they work with. I don't know what this means or what to do about it. The theme is at this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/z/en-US/firefox/addon/bloomind-ft-deepdark-2/
    It is said:
    'Bloomind FT DeepDark 2' is a theme that was created to transform the look of Firefox 4 for Windows users. It was specially designed for the seven, but the rendering is quite specific on XP and Linux (I can t test on MAC, but for those who would like to try on this platform, you can force the download and install it).
    So try to save this file using the context menu.
    I could solve the problem by going to the manufacturing of system site and download the updates I needed. Once I installed all the updates for my video driver, the games worked well.
