I bought this mobile last summer. It came with Microsoft Office Starter. I used it for about 9 months. and then I could not open all the files. I've tried everything, and most say uninstall Microsoft Click-to-Run, but it won't. I can't go to my files. So, I bought Microsoft Office 2010 and it does not open. It says click to run failed or Microsoft can not open the program. Help, someone, please.
Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.
-
You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.
-
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and it puts regular periodic updates.

Click Microsoft to run is required for office starter, a version of office included by your PC manufacturer. I'd go alone or you may break the Office

I transferred files using a windows vista belkin easy transfer cable to windows 7
* original title - I moved from my old laptop to my new files but can't open them as they say that they are not supported. Some files that I can open it but its just gibberish. Any suggestions would be appreciated.*
Hello
You must have the program, the files were written in vista installed in windows 7 to read
you do not have file extensions
read this
You must have the program installed to be able to read the files of programs
for example, if it's a .doc file, you installed Word
.xls, you need Excel
. PPS, you need Powerpoint
etc.
but fortunately, there are FREE viewers provided by Microsoft for the file extensions above which will save you having to buy Microsoft Office
Here are the download links for free Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint viewers:
Word Viewer
View, print and copy Word documents, even if you don't have Word installed. This download is a replacement for Word Viewer 2003 and all previous Word Viewer versions.
Excel Viewer
Open, view, and print Excel workbooks, even if you don't have Excel installed. This download is a replacement for Excel Viewer 97 and all previous Excel Viewer versions.
PowerPoint 2007 Viewer
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 Viewer allows you to view the presentations of all the features created in PowerPoint 97 and later versions.
and you can try the FREE Open Office applications game to read these file extensions
and here's how to set file associations
How do I... Change file extension associations in Windows Vista?

I want to uninstall Bethesda game "Seadogs" uninstall box saying "Are you sure () to uninstall" warning come shortly matter how many times I click Yes... Anyone got the answer on the Vista system. I want to get it out of my computor.
Hi johndelury,
I see that Seadogs game is not compatible with Windows Vista, which could be the cause of this problem. See the link below
http://support.bethsoft.com/eng/platformlist.asp?SID=014429110505065049014055&PID=1077&PNM=sea+dogs
Method 1: uninstall files could be corrupted, re - install (it replaces the corrupted uninstall files) the game, and then try to uninstall.
Method 2: First, contact the manufacturer game for any program to uninstall to uninstall the game completely from the computer.
Method 3: You can follow the steps mentioned in the article below to manually remove the game
How to manually remove programs from the add tool / remove programs
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314481(Article applies to Windows XP, similar steps valid for Windows Vista)
Important This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

Hello
First of all, make sure that your windows system runs as a 64-bit system. to check this out right click on computer > select Properties > check if it is 32 bit or 64
absolutely if your system is a 32-bit win 7, you cannot run 64-bit applocation on it.
If you are sure the config. You can install microsoft office instead of automatic execution of .exe or .msi file
to achieve this can right click on your installation CD click on explore or open
in the new Page, you will find the file .exe or .msi that you can use instead.
Please let me know if your problem space or not.
