I want to continue to use one of my older laptops with Windows XP Pro with Adobe CS4 Design Premium. I want to upgrade XP to Windows 10. Does anyone know if CS4 will be compatible?
Hi Stephanie M.
If your version of Design Premium CS4 for Windows run on a 32 bit OS, then I don't think that it is running in Windows 10. There are a few cases of people install with the 64 bit version of CS4 Design Premium, however. See this thread: Re: CS4 and Windows 10?
I'm sorry.

Original title: upgrade for older compaq PresarioCQ60
Hello
My personal opinion is that you buy a more recent machine as Vista Basic came on machines that have the material basis for it requirements.
Depends on hardware configuration required on later operating systems, and also find out if the manufacturer of the laptop computer is supported and provides drivers for operating systems later as to whether it is possible or feasible to upgrade or not.
HP:
http://WWW8.HP.com/us/en/drivers.html
There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.
Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.
Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.
Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.
If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.
Run the "Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.

I am owner of Dreamweaver 8 comes with Macromedia Studio 8. I'm getting worried about the age of the machine which is on. Is there a way to upgrade a laptop Windows 7 which does not involve a monthly rent and allows to work on the source code of my Web site completely offline?
Thank you. Last time I looked into things with the description "Cloud", it seemed to me that you either need to be logged to the software work (possibly validate the rental date?) and/or your content of current things was 'in the cloud '.
While I don't like the rental model, if I can make it work offline that may be an option.
Fortunately, the machine still works, so I have little time to decide. It is likely that my existing sites in Dreamweaver 8 will be compatible up with current versions?

Upgrading my laptop Windows 7 to Windows 8. 1
I intend to spend my laptop current Windows 7 Hp 2000 Windows 8.1 probably this year I checked the Hp site for my laptop to its drivers my Windows 7 64 bit I see it off for that new drivers for 64-bit Windows 8, but not for Windows 8.1 I can use for Windows 8 64-bit drivers for my laptop when it is version 8.1 of Windows or simply keep readers for Windows 7 64-bit players.
I'm looking for appropriate responses that will respond to my question before moving on to Windows 8.1.
Hello
Many cases not all Windows 7 drivers will not work with Windows 8.1. A few Windows 8 drivers may NOT work with Windows 8.1 you can find on this forum and a lot using Google. You can also find a lot of people who is eager to get back to Windows 7 after the purchase of Windows 8 or 8.1 machine.
Unless you have a very good reason for this, I would not recommend to upgrade your Windows 7 computer to Windows 8 or 8.1. More of a problem than pleasure.
Kind regards.

How to reinstall Vista
Contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F8, F9, F10 or F11 or Alt + F10 or 0 to start to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a vista microsoft dvd; not a HP, Acer recovery disk etc
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

I hope that I can install it without having to rub my C: drive simply because it's big... I bought a complete system additional XP Pro just before they were all gone and installation he can save me a few dollars more having to buy a complete victory. 7 pro
Repair the installation to change the product key to a release from the retail media.
However, you know that your Windows XP OEM license was just as scalable (on this unique system) as a license Windows XP retail... right? Even upgrade path / price.
I assumed that the only way that helps you is now you can transer the license of the retail Windows XP to another computer later... But nothing says you need to upgrade your current license of Windows XP OEM to retail level and then to Windows 7.
(BTW - upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows XP is a clean install. You will install all applications again, restoring your data, etc.).
