  I'm moving from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird. All is well until now, but I need to import my old mails from Outlook. When I go to tools > import > Mail I get options for Eudora, Outlook, and Outlook Express. Eudora and Outlook options are grayed out. The option for Outlook Express is available, but who isn't even an option for me, since I am on Windows 7.

  I've read a few articles, and they point out that you must always have Outlook installed and configured as the default e-mail client. I made sure Outlook is set as the default mail client, but the import option is still grayed out. I tried restarting both Outlook and Thunderbird. I also tried the import with Outlook open and closed.

• Why I can not encrypt files, the option is grayed out?

  I'm trying to encrypt a folder and I right click on the folder, then I click on properties, then I click on advanced, but the option encrypt is obscured and I can't click on it. Why is this and how can I solve this problem?

• How can I unlock folder when applying the option is grayed out?

  I used an HDMI cable to connect my computer to the TV.  My screen went black.  I finally got my computer back screen, but some got locked folders.  I dropped the idea of linking my TV and computer because the TV is old and I don't want two monitors.

  I just read on unlocking using properties files and the tab share.  My Documents folder contains the my music (unlocked) folder and a folder my music locked (locked).  The same thing with my pictures, and my videos.  I discovered this when I tried to open an image in Paint and got this error message.  "The location is not available."

  When I tried to unlock folder my pictures, in properties, Security tab, to apply option is grayed out.  I also tried the sharing tab and it was also disabled.  I don't know much about the records and did not know that my music, my pictures, and my videos were located in the My Documents folder, but perhaps noticed them there before.  I often forget things.

  I really regret trying to connect my computer and TV; my computer screen is very nice to watch movies.  I just bought the TV rabbit and became obsessed by the idea.  It was a bad idea because my TV was not made for her.

• Logged on as administrator, but when trying to turn on automatically the incident reports, the option is grayed out

  Even though I am the administrator, when I try to turn on automatically incident reports and solutions is dimmed and the help prompt indicates it needs to be done by the system administrator... but it's me!   Click Advanced settings, but which is all gray too.  Having checked that I am the only admin on the computer (users are only me and Mrs. L and daughter).  Can someone tell me how to sort.

  Let me know your OS. Because the administrator account is disabled by default in Vista & Win7.Run the command to activate the account below:

  NET user administrator / Active: Yes

  Now to reconnect with administrator account and try to use the feature.

  I'm so sorry to bother the community, but I'm on day 30 Final Cut Pro X trail, and I'm a novice, but have some web design background, so not as green... lol... when I try to resync video of may, I am unable to select the speed. It is grayed out.

  Also, try the reset speed option(Option+Command+R). Let's see if that will work or not.

  If one of the system icons is out, you can reactivate the as follows:

  Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties. This will bring up the tab "properties of menu taskbar and start. It's where you mentioned, it is gray. It is very well...  From there, you can click on Customize button in the icon section. Look for the icon that you are missing, and check the status. The type of report should read "Hide icon and notifications", change that to "Show icon and notifications".

  If this does not resolve the issue most likely you have a problem with group policy on your machine. This can be corrected by following the instructions on the following link:
