I f I only 12 pages, it is not a problem to send in the form of documents in an e-mail as I repeatedly, doen.     The Pack of PDF from Adobe allows only to combine 12 files at a time, but you can batch convert and then combine these files more wholesale/combined as needed.

    The other option is to use Acrobat, which does not impose such a limit, because processing takes place on your desktop and not via an Internet connection. If you want to try Acrobat, you're welcome to-you can download a 30 day trial of http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.

    Word and Excel files are saved in Word and Excel and in my images.  If I delete the document of my images, it is also deleted in Word / Excel.  I checked and all Word/Excel documents are in my pictures including documents several years ago.

    You have them saved to this location for some reason any. If you don't like that you have to move them to the correct location and stop then save in the wrong location.

    Whenever you save something you must check if you save it in the correct location, of course.

    Do not delete them. You can use UNDO and trash to get back those you've accidentally deleted recently.

    When you open the Bookmarks pane (the second icon from the top in the column the leftmost in Acrobat), you will see a bookmark for each file that has been attached to create the PDF. If you have created the combined file from Acrobat.com, however, file names are changed, it won't be as easy to say what are the components. If you create the file in Acrobat, then bookmarks retain the name of the original file, so your customer will be able to tell at a glance if everything was included.

    You must upgrade to Acrobat Pro. Then, you would be able to use an Action to convert all the files in your file (s) to PDF format and later on another Action (+ script) to combine them into a single PDF file. So basically, it's a 3 step process. Is not ideal, but not too hard, either.

    Make sure acrobat 8 is compatible with the version of MS Office applications, Adobe Acrobat PDFMaker and compatible web browsers & OS requirements system Adobe Acrobat.

    Open Acrobat 8, go to the Help menu and repair the installation. Make sure you also that acrobat 8 is updated.

    I used to be able to combine files into a single pdf on my Mac using Adobe Acrobat Professional XI. Now, when I select 'combine files into a single pdf file", I just get a short vertical line with a gray cloud around him in the center of my screen. Should I reinstall the program?

    I thought about it and then seen a response from ME & C David (who also found the same thing). Somehow the window that appears when I click on "combine files" had been reduced to a very tiny line. When I double-clicked on it, I could see she had a tiny window and then managed to extend it to normal size. This after about 3 weeks of not being able to use it until I had the time to post this question. He spends several hours of my life... I've never seen this happen before in other programs and it's a mystery as to how it happened here.     1. To use Acrobat open without opening a PDF and go to file menu choose combine PDF.
    2. A small window opens
    3. Look for the files to combine
    4. Drag the window and gout.
    5. Search for the following file and repeat
    6. Drag the files to correct the order.
    7. Rename and save the PDF

    Its actually easier than using insert pages.

    This can be achieved by creating a PDF portfolio.

    Start Acrobat DC, then choose file > create > Portfolio PDF.

    Drag-and-drop the files in the dialog box create a PDF portfolio .

    Click create to add the files in the PDF portfolio.

I would like to have a link/button in a particular PDF file that would combine several PDF files to another folder in a single PDF file to view or print. This USB key will be used on Mac and PC. Users will be responsible also for all of files on a tablet or iPad to take meetings. I am able to do this if I know the absolute path to the files, but not when the path is a parent.     I have yet to understand why Adobe pro 9 does not recognize the .xlsx files to combine into a PDF file. Need this problem solved quickly before our high season resumes. any suggestions? I know that you can save the Excel worksheet to a PDF document, but it takes too much time and space on our server. We must be able to combine the Excel file with files Post Script together at a time instead of going back to add more later. We are constantly updating of spreadsheets on a daily with the type of business that we do, you can understand why save the worksheet in PDF format updated every hour is a problem/waste of time.

    My guess is that you have OFFICE 2010 or newer. AA 9 PDF Maker that is necessary for what you want to do is not compatible with OFFICE 2010.

    I have a PDF form that I have to fill out some data and a Microsoft Word Document.   Sometimes I wait a few days, so I need to fill out the same form PDF.  When I combine them, I get warning that PDF forms with the same name will be the same - if I don't want it, I should create a PDF portfolio.  The portfolio is not as I want.  It combines PDF files in some others.

    I could change the names of the fields that I need, but I sometimes fear that I missed something.

    Is there a way to get away with this problem if the combination is good?  I have to fax documents at once created and portfolio doesn't seem like I can do.
