  There are a few things that you would have to do to install XP instead of Vista:

  1. contact the manufacturer of your computer and see if the XP drivers are available for your computer model to make sure that XP has worked properly in this regard.

  2. If the XP Drivers are available, buy a XP disk operating system / license. Try local computer repair shops because Microsoft sells more than XP and online sale buy you pirated copies can cause. Be very careful.

  3 XP runs with 512 MB of RAM, although a little slow by today's standards.

  4. do a clean install of XP. Make sure that all your data is backed up as the hard will be cleaned of everything during the Installation of XP.

  CONTROL PANEL - CLOCK, LANGUAGE AND REGION CONSOLES - OPTION REGIONAL AND LANGUAGE - KEYBOARDS AND LANGUAGES - CHANGE - ADD.  Tab to add, I think I'm supposed to find GLOBAL IME.  But I just can't. Anyone know why? I really need to be able to type in Japanese. Help, please.

  To type text in languages based on characters, Chinese and Japanese, for example your computer, follow these steps:

  1. open regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click clock, language, and region, and then click regional and Language Options.

  2. click on the tab keyboards and languages and then click Change keyboards.

  3. under installed services, click Add.

  4. double-click on the Japanese (Japan), you want to add, double-click text services, that you want to add, select the text services options you want to add, and then click OK.

  If you are not able to find it then you must install the Japanese language pack from the link below.

• Update for Windows7 revealed a faulty hardware, I would like to install on a new PC

  To solve the problems I was experiencing with my desktop HP Pavilion (with Windows XP), I bought a genuine window 7 Home Premium 32 - bit DVD 1 Pack.  I installed the operating system and, thinking that my problems have been solved, activated the license.  Immediately, I discovered that instead of focused on the OS, computer problems have been focused on the motherboard.  Now I have a non repairable computer with a license of Windows 7 which has never been used.  I would like to install this operating system Windows 7 on another computer, I intend to buy.  Is there a way to allow me to legitimately install this new OS of Windows 7 on a new hardware?

  To begin troubleshooting, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure that Device Manager is open, and that the device that has the problem is selected. You can perform certain resolutions recommended by the Device Manager.
