I now need to reload all the photos I took during the 6 months and retag all? Or y at - it an easier way to get back them on PSE9 (marked and organized)?

  Search your hard drive for backup to *.pse9db.  If you find these files, restore the directory and its subdirectories, then point PSE to this directory using the file... Catalogue... Custom location.

  I solved the problem. I have re-installed the card reader. It would then "see" the map, but still wouldn't let me write anything for her...
