ICloud family member App requests

Hello

Fact the colossal mistake of buying my daughter an iPod Touch 5th (iOS 9.3.5) for her birthday and defining its place as a member of the family in iCloud, so no matter what application it wants to download (and God, there are many of them) must be approved by me. Not a smooth process.

First of all, my daughter, for some reason, you must enter its AppleID twice now to apply. Can someone suggest why?

Then, its requests for app do not seem to come through my Mac (MacBook Pro 2011, OS X 10.10.5).) I can approve apps in person on his iPod Touch, but my fingers are fat, old and it's a deep trouble. I can't see all requests cached anywhere - Notification Center, for example - and my daughter has repeatedly ask the apps.

I would be very grateful for any suggestion. Thank you.

  • "Add a family member" option grayed out

I want my husband to have its own apple - ID we always shared one, but it becomes very problematic. Initially, I had all 5 of our children on the sharing of the family.  When I discovered that I couldn't add my husband because of the limit of six people, I went through a lot wrong with Apple to have apple ID my deleted child.  After all that, I'm still not able to add another Member to the family.  They said wait a day, that he was. They seem to be other solutions. I'm hoping to find one here.

  • Best way to clean a computer to give to a family member.

I want to restore my computer Windows XP Dell to its factory settings in order to give to my parents. I'm not not as much concerned about safety with my old files that I'm computer being simplified and works well, because there was a lot of modules downloaded over the years and it works more smoothly. What is the best way to get rid of all the waste accumulated on my hardrive over the years? I'm still all disks that Dell has provided at time of purchase. I'm not sure if it's better to try to try to clean it, or start from scratch.

    Windows XP Service Pack 3

    Dell Dimension

Thank you all for your advice. For the record, my size is a 2400, and I have the original full version of XP with Service Pack 1a.

After trying to solve this problem with my knowledge limited and before all your very helpful responses, I decided to go on the road to uninstall as much as possible use Revo Uninstaller. Given that I've initially was looking for a method of time-saving security since I gave the computer a member of the family, to the point where I investigate buying a new CD player internal and all other solutions, it began to look like an option far less time. If my family member decides that always, he would like to make a fresh start but, we look at the above.

Thank you very much for your detailed responses. I much appreciate and will refer to them if needed in the future. I'm sorry I'm not able to try them, but I was on a time crunch to get the old computer in working condition for the Member of my family and cost/time of what solutions were looking like became problematic.

    Thanks again!

  • This family member is able to make me become disconnected from the internet.

    Windows IP configuration
    Windows XP / Home Edition / 2002 Version / Service Pack 3

A member of the family interferes with my computer and worse me. It's work! This family member is able to make me become disconnected from the internet.  I'm not sure how he does it, but I have a feeling that he is able to see my IP address and it blocks my IP address of the router. I'm not familiar with TCP/IP or DNS settings. Here are some of my settings, perhaps you can direct me in how to change a parameter, so it can stop.

    Windows IP configuration
    Host name...............................................
    Primary Dns suffix...
    Node Type................................................ Unknown
    The active IP routing... NO.
    Active proxy WINS... NO.
    DNS suffix search list...
    Ethernet wireless network connection card:
    The connection-specific DNS suffix.
    Description............................................................
    developments
    Physical address...
    Dhcp Enabled.................................................... Yes
    Autoconfiguration enabled... Yes
    IP Address..........................................................
    Subnet Mask......................................................
    Default gateway...
    DHCP Server......................................................
    DNS Servers......................................................
    ......................................................
Whether by TCP/IP or DNS, I believe that the family member is accessing my computer. Is it possible to change these settings where the family member is not able to see my local IP address? I need to change the DNS server settings and change TCP/IP settings. Maybe I'm wrong and you can tell me what I should do to fix this problem. Thanks in advance for your answer.

As already mentioned LEM that the rule on the router has an absolute rule that can and cannot access the internet or other network resources.  I suggest you lock your computer, turn off the server, Remote Service registry service and Remote Desktop and change the password on all administrator accounts.  Make sure that your firewall is enabled and have it block all inbound traffic local.  Then talk to the guy that controls the router and ask him to lock the router with a password, the only way to bypass the router, then will be by resetting it and the router administrator will know if everything else does.

Having said that your problems are probably not caused by another Member of the family, it could be caused by flaky or failing hardware, bad cable, bad router, network card bad, if you really think that your problem is caused by a member of the family of your computer, then your question must be addressed and brought to a head in a "family meeting" rather than in a public forum on the internet.  There is not a lot of people read here can do to change the behavior of the members of your family.

    Hello

    Reinstall the operating system.

If you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery on the drive Partition hard reinstall Windows how much you bought your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

  • Child is not classified as family member when you install on Windows 7

I have problems to set up parental controls on Windows 7.

Security configuration for the family on Win mobile, 8 of woman successfully. When I sign in to the Family Safety website I see my son as expected account and my wife the other parent.

Now want to family security put in place to monitor its account on my laptop win 7. Installed windows essentials. Went into setting and chosen son, connected to the family safety account and I wonder to match its local account with one of the accounts online in our family. However showing only accounts are our two parents does not represent his account. For my son, the only way is to add security to the family, that creates it as a fourth member of the family in my account online.  I deleted the duplicate family member so I now go back to the beginning.

Any ideas how I can configure the same child account is used for both computers, so monitoring is the same on both?

Only I thought I have is that I don't think that I've added an email to his account, when I set up the family safety on Win8 machine initially. This would cause this issue?
