iCloud messages

I accidentally erased the entire text string with my boyfriend and I... How can I save that?

If you have a back up before you deleted, you can restore your phone to it.

  • message comes up saying storage is full. The capacity is 13.5 GB. I bought storage monthly plan 50GB (icloud) message still says ipad is full. Why?  UD) I bought the storage

I have a version 7.1.2 IPAD2.  The capacity is 13.5 GB. Message comes up saying storage is almost full. I bought the extra 50 GB storage for this (icloud) plan monthly - in settings according to usage.  45 GB is always available. Why message rises who always says "complete storage '.

You have purchased storage iCloud.  This is used to store things like backups and if necessary documents and data to share with other Apple devices.

Your iPad storage is full.  This has absolutely nothing to do with your iCloud-storage space.  You can not buy additional storage for your iPad.  When you run low on storage of the iPad, you have two options:

    • Managing the storage of iPad with settings > General > storage & use iCloud > manage storage.  Remove items from your iPad you need is no longer.
    • Sell your iPad and buy a replacement with more storage.
  • Merge two accounts Icloud

WWhen you Apple allows us to merge the accounts? I really have to use my ID iCloud as my apple ID, but can't because too much is linked to the Apple ID in iTunes. I can't pass this email to my iCloud account.

There is no such thing as an iCloud ID, you have an Apple that you connect to iCloud ID, say you that you have created a second Apple ID or are confused you with iCloud email address.

If you create and use an ID of Apple (without modification) fully nine, you will not be able to transfer anything you bought from the iTunes and App stores the ID of the new, but you can transfer your iCloud data (schedules, etc.) with a bit of patience.

    iTunes and App Store.

You can think about continuing to use the Apple to iTunes & App stores (as well as iBooks), ID so that you can continue to use your content bought without problems and simply use the new login to iCloud, Messages and FaceTime Apple.

If you use your new Apple ID for the iTunes and App stores, you will be able to authorize and game previously purchased content from the iTunes store on a computer, but may have difficulty using this content on an iOS device.

While you won't lose any apps that was purchased using the the previous Apple ID immediately, you will be no longer able to update.

If the previous Apple ID will continue to be used by a family member who belongs to a family sharing put in place which will include your new Apple ID, you share the previous purchases as well as all other purchases they do under this code from Apple. Be aware, however, that when gift vouchers using sharing of the family, unless that each family member has their own sum of credit from iTunes, the organizer of the family action in place will pay for any purchase made by any member of the family.

    iCloud

Move your iCloud a data what ID Apple for another is obtained more easily on a computer it is on an iOS device, indeed some aspects of the move possible only on a computer. However, any device you choose to spend your data, you should do so by turning individual iCloud to the wide one-both services and not sign out of the account until all services have been put off and processed. (Settings > iCloud on a mobile system preferences and peripheral > iCloud on a Mac)

If you have purchased an extra space for iCloud under your previous Apple ID, will not be transferred when you change the Apple ID you use and you can buy new space required under the new Apple ID.

iCloud Drive. Save the data of your iCloud drive in a computer before turning off this service. You can use the Finder on Mac or through iCloud.com if you use a PC. Just move the data of your new Apple ID, once it is set up.

Pictures. Make sure you download and keep the originals when you are prompted when you turn off iCloud photo library, you want pictures remain on your device and merge it with your new library when you set up your new Apple ID.

If you use a photo stream be aware that there may be more pictures on your device that there is in the cloud, flow of photos in the cloud keeps up to 1,000 photos for 30 days, if you have more old photos or more than 1,000 on your device, you can copy them to a computer before turning off the photo stream.

If you have created a shared albums, you must create them again once you have set up your new ID, all the pictures anyone else like added to your shared albums should be imported into your camera roll/library before you stop shared albums.

Mail. Once you change your Apple ID, you will have a new e-mail address of iCloud. So that you don't miss any message that is sent to your old address, you can arrange to have passed along it to your new address (or any other address), you can configure to iCloud.com > mail > Preferences > General.

Contacts. You have the opportunity to add contacts on your device when you disable this service, merge them when you are prompted when you reactivate the service after the signature in your new Apple ID.

On a Mac, you can drag them into another account and then drag them once you have set your new ID, but on an iOS device you will basically need to copy and paste into the new notes when you have configured the new Apple ID, but you will have to share before making notes of the old Apple ID , either by mail or similar messages.

Each child must have its own Apple ID, which should be signed in iCloud, Messages and FaceTime. If you want to share purchased content, they can share an Apple ID for the iTunes and the App Store, or you can look in the family sharing:

  • iPhone disabled / pirate iCloud?

    Hello

My girlfriend has been surfing the Internet using his iPhone 6s more and met with a message saying that his phone has been hacked and that she had to pay the money. Fearing the worst, she quit safari and attempted to erase and restore his phone from the last backup to iCloud, because she isn't breast each of his computer at this time.

However, to the restoration of his phone and WiFi Internet connection, told him that his phone is locked and enter its password iCloud would not open his phone. Is there anything she can do? I tried to locate his phone on iCloud.com but he said all peripherals are offline and is not found - that his phone is swict on what he had and get 3G, that confirms it is at least online, but if she does not appear on find my iPhone, surely iCloud has been compromised in some way.

    Help, please!

    Darren

Where exactly is she see this iCloud message, indicating that the iCloud password would not open the phone? Please provide the exact error message. In fact, get one of these pop-up windows is easy to get, because they are just a java script. All she really needed to do was to go to settings > Safari and then clear history and data from the Web site. Then open Safari to the top. It seems to me that it is a problem of Activation If you see this error in the password, but the only way to be sure is to know the exact error message.

  • Impossible to use Mac because of boxes appearing – 'com.apple.iCloudHelper.xpc', 'cloudd', 'MessagesAgent', 'represents' with spinning ball

My MacBook Pro El Capitan has boxes on screen-"com.apple.iCloudHelper.xpc", "cloudd", "MessagesAgent", "accountsd" with the ball spinning and I can't use my computer as these boxes want a 'keyring', and I don't recognize any of this. Help, please. Thank you.

    Hello T.W. Macaroni.

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  Looks like you are having problems connecting to your computer administrator user account.  (A 'Keychain' is a password management system).  Have you recently made changes to your computer (update your operating system, download any software, no password)?  The files above to indicate your computer tries to launch applications like iCloud, Messages, etc.

The first thing I would say is to restart your computer.  It sounds simple, but it can be a very easy solution.  If this does not work, restart your computer again, but this time hold down the SHIFT key.  It's what we call a safe mode.   If your computer starts in safe mode without these error messages, then restart again in normal mode (without pressing any key).

Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

If none of these two basic troubleshooting steps work, you may need to enter a new password of your login keychain.  Follow the steps in the resource below:

If your Mac keeps asking for the password in the keychain

After you or your administrator Mac resets the password of your OS X user account, your Mac may ask you to update your Keychain password or enter your login Keychain password. He could also tell you the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. It's because your login keychain still use your old password.

If you do not know your old password, the solution is to create a new login keychain.

If you know your old password, use this password to update your existing connection Keyring:

    1. Open the Keychain Access application, located in the Utilities folder of the Applications folder.
    2. On the Edit menu, choose "Change password for Keychain 'login'."
    3. Enter the old password of your user account in the current password field. This is the password you were using until the password has been reset.
    4. Enter the new password for your user account password. This is the password that you are using now to connect to your Mac. Enter the same password in the field of verification.
    5. Click OK when finished, then quit Keychain Access.

T.W. Macaroni, if you continue to have problems connecting to your computer, please reply to this message and we will study further with you.

    Take care.

  • Why transfer doesn't work?

Hey, guys! Hoping someone here can help me. I am the proud owner of a Macbook (early 2015) of the retina, and I love it. I want to say that it was no problem, but I Can not - transfer does not work!

I logged in iCloud by using the same Apple ID on my iPhone (iPhone 6 s, iOS 9.3.3) and when I log in Messages on my Mac, I keep seeing in the left panel under 'Preferences' that my account is inactive. Whenever I try to send a message to someone, the name comes in red and I'm invited to sign it - except when I hit the sign in button, I'm actually still signed in and the account is activated! I take a glance settings iMessage on my iPhone and noticed that there is no option for transmission of Message text, so it was not possible to activate this feature.

I called Apple Support and they also found it strange that he did not work, they find more strange was that "I had all the ingredients, but it does not work" - which means, I am connected with the same ID, my number appears in the preferences of Message on my Mac, I signed with my identifier Apple to use iMessage on my iPhone... it's weird. The next day, I noticed that some aspects of the transfer procedure worked.

Every time I open Safari on my iPhone, it appears in the Dock on my Mac and vice versa. It goes the same for mail. I also noticed under "phone settings" on my iPhone, I had the opportunity to receive calls on my devices to iCloud, which listed my Macbook. I thought: 'very well! an improvement! "Later, I invited to enter a PIN code of my Mac on my iPhone and voila! Transfer text messages was there, I entered the code and then prayed. Back to the start box, Messages on my Mac refused to work. I kept getting the same problem as above. I must point out that Safari, Mail and phone were still working through transfer.

Today, I noticed nothing work - no mail, no phone and no Safari by transfer. The option to respond to calls on other iCloud devices have also disappeared.

When I contacted Apple, I was put with a counselor... but I have not heard yet return. He was also puzzled over there (but very useful). The impression I get from Apple, this is a problem at the level of the device. I'm not so convinced, I'm thinking it was to do with my account on the end of Apple (perhaps the Server/service level?). To my knowledge, Apple Support and specialist have not looked into this.

    Here is what I tried:

    1. Turning iMessage/Facetime on my iPhone on and outside.
    2. Signature on my Apple ID for iMessage and Facetime and then signing back in.
    3. Disconnection and signature in Messages and Facetime on my mac.
    4. Signing in and out of the iCloud on my iPhone and Mac.
    5. Restart both devices when they are disconnected from the internet.
    6. Tried the signature using the App password. (did not work)
    7. Off the two-step verification. (that is, one more time)
    8. Signature on all of my Apple ID account by using only my email domain iCloud.
    9. IPhone restored like new.
    10. Recovery of the Internet on Macbook.
    11. Checked my iPhone automatically sets the time zone.
    12. To ensure that the region iMessage/Facetime and iPhone/Mac were the same (United States)
      1. I must emphasize that the region of my ID Apple is set to Barbados (where I'm from) so that I can use my local iTunes/App Store purchases credit card but I don't see how or even why it would affect the transfer procedure
    13. At the request of the Senior Adviser, I called my provider wireless (flow Barbados) to understand if they support the text Message Forwarding (they didn't know what I was talking about, first, that they said no encryption, it wasn't like call forwarding, and then when I explained to them, they said they were not sure and contact Apple even once).
    14. I don't know if this has nothing to do with it, but I find my iPhone refuses to connect to my MacBook via bluetooth after mating, my MacBook would say connected and my iPhone say not connected, and finally he would be dismissed. But sometimes it does not work when I use the Handoff... weird apps. Also, I can't seem to get AirDrop works, does not detect my devices between them. Just said that I would mention this in case it helps.

Honestly, this has me has raged for a few days now and I'm really at a loss as to what I should do.

Any ideas or suggestions? Whatever that either would be appreciated.

UPDATE: transfer of telephone, Mail and Safari doesn't work again... still no luck with Messages.

I have a few updates with screenshots, hope they help.

So, I get this message when I connect using the same Apple ID on iMessage on my iPhone and iCloud/Messages on my Mac.

When I signed, what happened. I was able to sign properly.

As you can see here, my ID Apple is connected and my number is recognized. Note, it continues to tell me that iMessage inactive (red underlined).

When I try to send a message to myself (even with other known users iMessage), this is what is happening.

For some reason, the recipient turns into this red box, where is my Apple ID is the box and I am being asked to activate my account of iMessage. When I click the activate option, I see that I am connected and the ID is activated.

    This continues to baffle me.

  • HELP ASAP! Apple for iphone, Mac mail address ID?

    Hello

I have a mac and one apple on what is my email address ID because I do not have a phone. I'm getting an opportunity I phone 5 but my questions are I receive / send emails, messages and calls (on the apple apps) provided in the phone if I sign in my email address on the phone apple ID. Will the messages and mail and other apps work and not only the application calling, and I have to get a new SIM card and change my apple ID email address in a phone number. Please answer as soon as possible!

    Thank you

Some things you should check before going through your purchase:

1 make sure that the phone you buy is not to have my iPhone turned on under iCloud ID of the previous owner if you haven't, you might get stuck with a phone that you can never use. You can check this link: https://www.icloud.com/activationlock/, or you can check it by going to settings > iCloud on the device to verify that a signed in iCloud Apple ID

    2. make sure that the phone is unlocked by the carrier who used the former owner. If the phone is not unlocked, you would only be able to use a SIM card that same carrier. You need a SIM card to activate the device.

    3. the SIM card has nothing to do with your Apple ID, you don't have to change it in any way

    4. ensure that the phone has been erased and then set up with your information by signing in iCloud, Messages, FaceTime, Email & iTunes App Store under settings

    Good luck

  • MacBook can't connect to iMac, iMAC, but can connect to Macbook

I have a problem, I can not get my course around and I need help.  I have an iMAC (2009) and Macbook Pro (2010).  Recently, I upgraded the two systems to El Capitan (both systems run the updates).  Before the upgrade, via file sharing, I was able to connect and read/write to all shared folders and devices connected to my iMAC to my macbook after some tedious tweaking configurations - the largest in realizing that I had to disable SMB and AFP only.  I use the iMAC as a home port and have all my external hard drives attached to the iMAC, and before the upgrade, I could see all the readers (and their scores) as well as all files, I had set up the iMAC to share.  Vice versa for the iMAC for Macbook - I could read/write in all the shared folders on the iMAC Macbook.

After the upgrade to El Capitan, right at the start, the MacBook has emerged as a player immediately shared in the finder and connected without problem.  I can currently read/write of the iMAC on the hard drive of the macbook.

The problem is, the Macbook will connect is more of the devices connected to the iMAC or iMAC.  I've fiddled with settings as much as I can think of, such as disable sharing of files, it reactivated, remove shared folders and add them, check all the settings for all readers shared on the iMAC, etc.  Everything seems to be configured exactly how it was before the upgrade, but for the life of me I can't have the Macbook to connect to iMAC.  In the finder, I see the iMac in the list of shared devices, but it just says: the connection has failed, and when I click on the button "connect as", it returns the following error: "there is a problem connecting to the server"IMAC of Pottsy".  Check the server name or IP address, and then try again.  If you continue to have problems, contact your system administrator.  Whenever I click on the button "connect as" it just trying to connect, never offered me a way to enter a user name or password, so I don't know which credentials that it uses at this stage, although I guess they are the same as before the upgrade when everything worked.  I have not changed the passwords for one of the user accounts and the user name and master password on both machines are the same, if that matters.

Does anyone have suggestions as to what might be causing this unit or a possible way to fix?  Recently, I received this iMAC to a friend and was completely in love with the configuration of shared devices and the way everything worked before the upgrade and find this problem.  It allowed me to share a hard drive that is partitioned as a time Machine to the two machines without having to unplug anything, among other things.

In addition, AirDrop does not currently work in both directions which is really weird.  I am able to navigate to the MacBooks HD of the iMAC via devices shared and drag and drop the files, but said dropping "transferred failed" if I try that.

I'd appreciate really no guidance that someone might be able to provide.

    Thank YOU and GOOD VACATION.

Well, I solved my problem after HOURS of madness, it's obviously something so incredibly simple that I could cry.  The MacBook was somehow not connected to iCloud - signature in iCloud enabled the MacBook to connect to the front just like iMAC.  I can't believe it wasn't an error message asking me to sign in iCloud.  I wonder to re-sign in iCloud always for reasons beyond me, and of course, once you done would have saved me countless hours of attempts without meaning, don't ' you must connect in iCloud message appeared.  SMH.

So there you go people, if you are experiencing something similar, make sure that both systems are signed in iCloud.

    PEACE!
