  Click on the menu button to display the full icon.

  You can ignore Safe Mode and everything just put new battery on the right in the phone and go into Normal Mode.   On your home screen, open main messages Inbox > highlight any date or say today > press the Menu key > click on "mark read prior", then do a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min. then reinsert this return. After restarting, please check if the problem resolves.

  From your home screen, go to your Messages folder.  Press the menu button, and then select the display folder.  Two likely candidates to look at would be browser Messages and WAP Push, even if it might be in other folders as well.  See if you can find it in these cases.

  This Council has worked for some and did not work for others.  This icon seems to be quite evasive as to its origin.  It's probably a third-party application by pushing the message on your phone, but nobody seems to be able to identify it.

  I upgraded from a curve to a tour today.  I downloaded the app Store, APP News and USA Today.  On the curve, it would put an ICON on the phone's desktop.  In order to access applications on the Tour, I have to go to the download folder in the theme of Verizon.  Is there a way to get the ICON on the phone home screen without having to navigate to the folder?  Also, I'll be happy when they come out with a theme, because I don't really like the two provided with the phone.

  While in the application Messages, press menu and go to 'View the Messages saved.'  Is there an email unread in there?  If not, do the same thing and go to the "view folder" and check out all the different records.

  Access the application messages, menu, search, choose Advanced Options.

  Scroll down to see the and choose not only open and click on search.
