  I prefer the method to "remake" (make a new folio and all download) and works now.

  I know it's a long time ago. And I forgot to get back to you. But the problem solved itself, when I ran an auto upgade of DPS Apbuilder. So now I can get to my folios with CS6 reinstall them and everything is good :-)

  Doesn't sound that you do something wrong at all. It could be due to performance issues on our servers that create problems to download large files. Here are a few things you can try:

  • If the folio is not already published, republish it as private. Downloads of published folios are often faster.
  • Try to create two sections each containing a video. Download plus two small files is generally better than downloading a large file.

  If it still does not respond, you can share the folio with [email protected] and I'll be happy to take a look.

  Hello world! With InDesign CS6, I created a presentation and shared with 6 people via the DPS and Adobe Content Viewer. Now I have an editing to do and results will not appear when I saw on the desktop or the iPad connected to the computer. I think that I may have the wrong file InDesign open since I created different versions while other troubleshooting problems (although I'm 99% sure that I have the right one open). Is there a way I can use the Folio to direct me to the InDesign file right? Just like the way the links palette tells me where a picture lives in my hard drive.

  I found what I'm looking for. In Folio Builder, go down to the display of the Article, click on the arrow in the drop-down list menu, choose repeat the link. This will give the path of the InDD file. Or in my case, since I renamed the InDD file, this confused the Folio Builder thinking that the file no longer exists. If the option repeat the link also allows me to the point of the Article on the appropriate file.

  What is interesting is even if InDesign does not know where is the file to, it still retains the entire Folio.

  Hello. I'm a graphic designer who is very experienced in InDesign using the software to fine printing. I am now branching out with CS6 capabilities and learning design (mainly presentation) applications for the iPad. So I designed a portfolio as a document of several pages including the page orientation to portrait and landscape. The app consists of a sheet of starter that would be a load of animation exported as swf and back imported in InDesign such as HTML5, or MP4, or however (I've nailed it yet because I leave this until the last that this page will be used as screensaver until swiped). When the Viewer slide page 1 they enter the main page "content" with a load of thumbnails within these customers and clients I have charge of case studies. So, I have pretty much designed the layout and that you have to build, but I need to know what I'm limited by.

  page 3 will be the 1st client and will need about 6 case studies, I guess I'll need to make additional pages. And so on.

  In any case, I digress the question I ask is the one to download and test on the iPad via the content player I obviously need to download items in the form of separate pages (incorporating the guidelines both H & V), but I would make the links on my page "content" when the document is a multipage document (IE in its original state) or apply I have these links (as buttons I guess rather than) hyperlinks) when the articles have been separated and I work with page 01, 02, 03 etc in folio Builder? I know not how to create thumbnail buttons but I can't work out how to link them to their desired targets (next page/page no. / etc. etc.) for the record, I would like to present my work on an iPad as an application, without relying on WIFI or 3 G. Last question (phew) is that I have a picture frame with a slide show-is it possible for the Viewer to click on them and open them in full-screen and flick/navigate through this way? then click on a cross in the back of the top corner of the page to the screen they were on.   You must configure the pages of appropriately for the target device. For iPad, it is 1024 x 768.

  I am currently using Adobe DPS (Windows) and trying to get a glimpse of my folio in an iPad. I have the app open on the iPad, signed am content viewer in and I'm also signed to in Folio Builder. And of course, I have the iPad plugged into the computer. After plugging in the iPad, an arrow appears next to the preview, which I guess would have been the iPad appearing as an option. But by clicking on the arrow, I only get the option to open the viewer of content on my desktop. Everyone knows about this problem?

• Several update is no longer available in Folio Builder

  I've just updated to the new Folio Builder. I found the old man a frustrating that you cannot select several items to update, but at least one article was loading I could start the following. But now I can not do same. I have to sit and wait, watching for when each article updates to start the next. I have many items and some are great. This process now takes forever. I'm not impressed. Is there any work around several updates of the article?

  It was indeed an intentional change. Simultaneous downloads within one account caused corrupted documents. We are unable to provide this functionality because of the risk inherent in the content.

  I think that the suggestion of user interface provide multiple selection-action article is very thin. I'll drop it and take credit for it myself (I'm kidding). It would be certainly worth investigating.
