Vista no longer sees my nvidia 8600gt video card, I didn't add or uninstall new programs or hardware, antivirus is up to date, and on a side note the pc stops by itself (when you click on the start menu) this day 1 began after my video card problem

I went to the website nvidia web and downloaded the drivers for this vista said after downloading that peripheral is not found, the pilots were incompatible with the video card, (not a direct quote and the video card was referring to shit a stock)

The map went kaput

  • long beeps after installing the video card

    Hello

    I recently bought a HP 500-223w.

I wanted to install a power supply a video card.

Here's the problem: everything works fine without the installed video card.

If I install the video card then at startup it gives me a series of long beeps.

I turned it off after the long fourth beep assuming they would UST go on and on.

The power supply is more than enough to power the video card.

The video card should not be bad, because I just moved it from another system. (system currently does not, bad mobo)

I was wondering what the infinite long beep on startup?

    Thanks and regards, TJames.

    Hello:

Product for your PC specifications indicate that it comes with Windows 8.1.

To install a video card no HP on PC shipped with Windows 8 or 8.1, you must change both settings of the BIOS before installing the card.

Please see this document for the BIOS to change settings...

When the Windows of Adobe CS6 Production Premium version will support the New NVidia Quadro K5000 Video card?

We currently have not so the GPU acceleration.

    Help!

You don't need 'official' support to make it work.  He just close PP and remove the file cuda_supported_cards.txt from the PP folder in Program Files.  Then restart PP.  You should now have the option to select the GPU acceleration.

  • Satellite A300 - 15G: can I replace the video card?

I bought my laptop about half a year ago.
Because I am a linux user, I reinstall Windows Vista Linux Fedora 10.

But our 'friends' ATI just create normal, 100% usable drivers for linux.
NVIDIA create drivers normal, and it works perfectly.

Support question: replace my video card ATI HD3470 for NVIDIA series, such as the NVIDIA 8400 or NVIDIA 8600 video card?

No, the replacement of a graphics card or the upgrade is not possible.
Motherboards laptops and technology is simply different as PC Office technology

  • video card, that you are running is not supported.

I have tried running airbourne Medal of honor, on windows vista, nothing helps, even after having used troubleshooting on windows. my computer is acer aspire 5720, windows vista. the message I get is. (the video card is not supported)

Try disabling each card one at a time to see which card is not supported, and if this does not work, try disabling the Intel and Ati chips to see if nVIDIA card works on its own.

    How to disable graphics cards
Go to: start > Panel > hardware and sound > Device Manager > graphics cards, with the button right of the graphics card you want to disable, and then click "disable". (To re-enable graphics card right-click on it and select 'Activate').

I hope this works (I have is not, I'm at the end of my knowledge and will not be able to think of anything else).

  • Good video card for new V. of the first Pro

Many of us can no longer use CUDA with our video card, with the recent version of the Premier Pro. And many (including myself) don't understand the nuances of the specification tecniques on these cards. We need up-to-date help: a list of maps, or at least the specifications that can be verified buy a new one.

A specific example: is the nvidia geForce GTX 970 acceptable (10 Windows 64-bit) card, or any other in the lower price ranges. I was not able to get a clear answer to this question in a related thread. It is unreasonable to Adobe to change the requirements of the card and ANY advice that those who would be not acceptable.

A restoration of the version suggested by the staff, but this solution doesn't prohibit juggling with continuous improvements of Adobe in CC and so seems unacceptable.

  • CS 5.5 and video cards

I got ahead and pre-ordered CS 5.5.  I'm pretty happy with 5.0, but I never install on my laptop and have since bought a new laptop with a Sandy Bridge Quad Core 2820 processor and a Nvidia GT555M video card that I would like to install 5.5.  Is it possible to change the startup file so that the Mercury engine will recognize the GT 555 M video processor on the laptop with 5.5?  If you are editing so this file is and how do change you it?  The 555M is a bit faster than the Quadro 2000 M and 2800M.

    -Roger

You can add it to the text file (see this link for instructions), but there is no guarantee this will work perfectly: you may need to play with Optimus to ensure good GPU is used and there may be an occasional disconnect during rendering, as the GeForce cards are not designed to operate at full power for long periods of time , especially in a laptop. We have no data test for the CS5.5 currently 555 M and of course is not on the approved list, but the plug is better than a number of other maps users report that work in an acceptable way.

Keep in mind that if a fast card, will boost performance significantly, it'll do in some ways. If you are made of formats highly compressed such as the ACHVD or reading very large files, the speed of your processor and the disk will be the factor limiting - and so you will not see the 'real' power of a GPU upscale on a laptop, unless you invest in things such as SSDS, and you have enough ram by heart (at least 2 G of each) to allow the multi-threaded renderer correctly.

My laptop has been a surprise gift for me--day after day, I now discover its many wonderful features. A bit of a struggle of ' cos I am not be well versed in the calculation.

Is something I'm unsure: is my NVidia GeForce 3d video card? Didn't someone around who can confirm the Satellite A660-149 a 3d video card?

If your graphics card is compatible 3D, you can install this driver. :)

  • Issue of video card about the P6310

I have a P6310 with Nvidia 9100 video card, and it is trolling intermittently during the game.  I had the intention to upgrade the video card and power supply, but am not sure what type of video card to search.  Should I look to the PCIe, PCI or AGP?

Here are the specifications of the computers:

Processor AMD Athlon II 630 Quad-Core processor
    (Vivid RAM) memory 6 GB
    Type of memory DDR3
    Memory expandable to 16GB
Size of the hard drive 1 TB
    Type of hard disk SATA
Optical drive SuperMulti DVD burner with LightScribe technology
Operating system Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    Network card 10/100Base-T network interface
Video Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 9100 with 256 MB graphics card
    Display None
Other ports 15-in-1 memory card reader

Excellent choice for the ATI 5750 1 GB.  It is also a low-power card 18-86 watts. The ITA, it will take a power connector, but the new power supply should have what you need.

  • HP A735W - video card problem

I tried to install an AGP eVga nVidia 7300GT video card instead an ATI cardin my older A735W Office.

After you have installed the 7300Gt AGP slot, I pulled the PC without hanging the molex cable 4 pins on the new map 7600 (it would not be reached). Start-up went normally and once over my office, the screen went black and it restarts. I had to power down hard stop repeat cycle. Thinking that it was a question of power, I took the 4 connector pins from my DVD player to power the card. When you start again the same thing happened, Windows XP would load on the desktop and then go black and restart shortly after.

Here is some additional information on the "install":

By fear of failure, I do not uninstall my ATI drivers, and I did not install the NVIDIA drivers but either because of this. I have the NVIDIA drivers ready to be installed once I could start up. I hope this clears things up and if I did a no-no, please tell me! Thank you in advance for your help!

Remove the old video driver.  Shut down the PC.  Clear CMOS.  Provide additional power for the GPU.  Reset.  If the problem persists, then the card is not compatible with this Commission.  Problem could also be the result of a power supply suggestions.

You say you have "defective" material and you want a software solution?

Any material support - including the drivers and other software that may be necessary to enable a hardware component to operate fully in a given operating system - is the manufacturer of the equipment.  So if you have a problem with your nVidia GT220 video card - your first stop should be nVidia.

-In addition, you are in the hands of nVidia.
