IdeaPad reliability

I don't understand. I am constantly reading this forum and everything is a question of people having problems with their ideapad. I'm starting to wonder if it's even safe to buy an ideapad. It seems that there is a lot of them with problems. None of them do ship actually without problems? Are the Lenovo ideapads reliable? I was about to buy a Y530 but now I don't know if I should.

It is natural to see only the people with problems on the forums. Most people will only join and post on the forums to help with problems. Most will join not just to express how the machine running. It kinda say to everyone on the world is sick by sampling only for people in the hospital.

So far, my experience with the Y510 is good. No problems with the hardware and the software inconvieniences can always be fixed.

The best way to choose an SSD is to choose by yourself with a bit of reading the situation on the evolution of the SSD market all the time with new controllers, new memory chips and so on. You must enter some comments and comparisons of recent SSDS and choose what suits your taste and your wallet best. Note, that in normal use you won't see much difference between most SSDS modern (except of course by markers). Even my 250GB 2.5 "TLC Samsung 840, which certainly isn't top-spec, is speed of light compared to any disk including SSHD.

As long as the drive you look at is size 2.5 "SATA connector, it will work. There are other things that you should consider what your laptop SATA revision supports and does support features like AHCI, NCQ, TRIM, but it will affect not the ability to use it. It will affect the speed and reliability of your SSD.

In addition, your laptop is Sandy Bridge, is certainly not old. I used SSD on a laptop of 2006 with Merom C2D. You shouldn't have any problems running any modern SSDs, including 240 GB Crucial or Kingston.

What I recommend is that you choose one that is reliable. As I said before you will be carried away by the speed everything that you choose. However, you will regret your decision, when your player will stop after a few months without apparent reason. It's the brand, duration of security and reputation comes in. I'm not walked SSD recently, but I don't think that Kingston is considered such a brand.

  • Lenovo Ideapad y510p - memory upgrade

So since Christmas is coming, I thought it would be cool to upgrade my 8 GB RAm 16 GB my question is: what type of card Gerard, I need my lenovo ideapad y510p? and what I have to change my old memory card aswell if im buying a new?

Also is it easy to change the RAM cards?

The worst thing that can happen is that memory does not work with full 1866MTs, but it will certainly work.

The first is a 2.5 "drive, so you should replace your hard drive with it. The other works, but not as a cache. If you do not want to buy a form mSATA SSD, it is best to install the top OS. Kingston is not the best brand when it comes of SSD. Discover Crucial, Samsung, Plextor. It would be a good idea to read some current reviews and comparisons of the SSD. always keep the highest priority on reliability.

  • No reliable WiFi for iPhone and iPad

I have an Airport Express, Time Capsule with two extensions Express airport and once every 3 days I have to power cycle to get my iPad and iPhone to be able to use the Wifi.  I-devices connect and show they have Wifi signal but they cannot transmit data. The airport on the iPhone and iPad App show Extenders but do not see the time Capsule (which provides the route to the internet) when this symptom occurs. I have also 2 MacBooks using the airport for Wifi and they do not seem to be affected. Once I have power cycle the Wifi Time Capsule works again for up to 3 days and then I'm right back where I started.

I am really frustrated with this, if anyone has any ideas of what I can do to fix this, I'd love to hear them. -Like to me, I may need to consider a new airport or an alternative companies Wifi router to get the reliability, I need.

Time Capsule is currently running firmware 7.7.7

    Express Extenders are 7.6.7

The two iPhones are 6 s on 10 iOS version

    iPad Pro is iOS 10

The two MacBook with OS X 10.11.6

FWIW, there were a few post here associated with iOS 10 and network connectivity. Nothing substantial, but just letting you know. However, one question would be: do you have this start happening after the upgrade of your iOS devices? It also affects your so non - iOS devices?

That said, let's try to exclude your current network configuration. You mentioned that you have Time Capsule (TC) and extend its Wi - Fi network with two base station AirPort Express (AX). Is the link between the AXs and the TC wired or wireless?

What are the exact models of each of your base stations? Where the AXs extending regarding the TC?

  • no reliable connection! (On Google)

When I try to search something on Google form the taskbar, it says no reliable connection, and it allows you to "Understand the risks" and continue through. I don't know what it does. I just updated firefox, and I've also updated it still does not work.
When I go to Google.com, it loads, but as soon as I get something on the site, it seems glitched and the other features of it such as Images, videos, news, research tools, automatically takes me to the untrusted connection.

  • I why Google is not reliable? its a Web site everyone uses!

    his saying this.

    This connection is Untrusted

You asked Firefox to connect on www.google.co.uk, but we cannot confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect safely, sites will present a reliable identification to prove that you're in the right place. However, the identity of this site cannot be verified.
    What should I do?

If you normally connect to this site without problems, this error can mean that someone is trying to impersonate the identity of the site, and you should not continue.

This site uses HTTP Strict Transport Security (HST) to specify that Firefox didn't connect safely. As a result, it is not possible to add an exception for this certificate.

www.Google.co.UK uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server may not send the appropriate intermediate certificates.
A certificate of origin additional should be imported.

    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

That is the only site that gives you an untrusted connection or it is rampant with many sites? Before creating exceptions, we recommend that you investigate the cause of the problem. In some cases, just Firefox is not set up to work with your security software or parental filter mentioned previously. In other cases, however, a malware infection can be reading all your navigation and you do not want to clean that up.

As a starting point, use one of these: BitDefender, ESET, Kaspersky or Avast?

  • I get a message of no reliable connection on all Web sites

I get the "connection is not reliable" ((Web site) uses an invalid security certificate) message on all pages I try to visit.

Thank you for following it upwards. Unfortunately, certificates of do_not_trust could be a sign of unwanted software on your pc that is to intercept the secure network traffic. go to the system control panel and uninstall programs such as BrowserSafeguard, BrowserSafe, backup or other software that seems suspicious and did not get intentionally installed by you.

  • IPhone refurbished reliable sellers

    Hello

I've been looking for a new iPhone for several weeks now and managed to find a very reasonable value, good nick iPhone 6 with 64 GB of storage in gray space (at least that is what I was told on the description of the object) arrived quickly in a very poor packaging. The box was a 3rd party one containing the phone, a sim card slot key and a charging cable (without charger) I discovered that the phone is faulty, a few days ago and he returned to a full compensation, restitution and £25. I'm now looking for a refurbished iPhone 6 64 GB in unbearably Gold/Silver for sub bar for £400. If anyone has some good suggestions of reliable sellers and he could meet with them that would be very appreciated.

    Thank you, Freddie.

Apple does not sell refourbis iPhones and has never, nor allow any iPhone Apple authorized reseller to sell refurbished phones. The only devices that are refurbished are those repaired by third-party companies. What the companies consider "renovation" varies greatly and you should ask them what they do to their devices.  Note that there is also no legitimate source of original OEM new to unauthorized dealers or service centers, if none of these companies offering the refurbished devices use used/salvaged parts, parts grey or downright fraudulent.

Essentially refourbis a company or a website selling iPhones sell anything the more used peripherals that they cleaned the place, or perhaps finally somewhat tested. In addition, any warranty on these devices will be only the seller or the company that made refurbishing what we call, but not Apple.

Thanks in advance (iPhone 5 s)

Y at - it a brand name on the charger, there are many people who are not quality controlled or it could be damaged and can be a problem.

Contact apple to make an appointment for the genius bar or buy an Apple recommended charger.
