  This can happen for several reasons, most common duration to a problem with the registry permissions.

  I would suggest trying the following tool, it is a 3rd party utility that analyze and repair registry permissions, and so you can use it at your own risk (I used it several times without any problems):

  I tried to install my printer but cannot go beyond the part of network installation.

  Printer is connected to a Wi - fi connection, PC sees the printer and found during the installation process.

  PS Fax and scanning has been installed properly, then scanning works. Print to the printer also works. Only install under win7 print driver is buggy.

  Thanks for the quick response and the link. Unfortunately, these measures have nothing to solve the problem.

  But I found the solution myself:

  the system variables %tmp% for the temp folder when incorrect. I removed a disk on which I had the temp folder, and Windows do not rewrite these variables.

  1 Control Panel > system > advanced system settings > advanced > Environment Variables > System Variables

  2. change E:\Temp in C:\Windows\Temp for 'Temp' and 'Tmp '.

  I hope that maybe I can help someone else with this solution.

  I just updgaded my g7 HP Pavillion from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and I can not get my DeskJet 1512 to work.  I went to the HP site to shoot down the latest drivers from my drive for installtion of origin has no Windows 10 drivers on it.  Driver downloads, but the installation fails with the message: "the an installer for this device cannot perform the installation at this time."  I have administrator rights on my laptop, no one else is logged on, and I have no other applications running.  Any suggestions?

  Please try my suggestions and getting back to me. You can try downloading and running the print and Scan Doctor then choose "Difficulty of printing" and let it run its course. See what the end results you show here and then try again to print. Please also let me know what the results show.

  Try printing a few programs various (Notepad being one of them please) to see if the problem is with a single program, or all of them. Maybe a firewall can block the connection, try to leave this option off when you try to print from the few programs.

  Hello

  I have a Windows 7 Pro x 64 box who refuses to install KB2943357 (.NET 3.5 patch) who sat in the "critical updates" column now for weeks.  Interestingly, Windows wants this patch installed even if we don't use .NET 3.5 on this machine (we use 4 .NET).

  Whenever the installation fails.

  All other updates work correctly and install normally.

  I tried following other articles that talk about ways to solve this problem, including running Windows update, the file system analysis tool, etc. and nothing worked.

  CheckSUR.log shows that there are about 50 errors, but I can't determine how to download the files needed to fix them.  Anyone can point me in the right direction to actually solve this problem or do I simply rub this machine and rebuild it to go from zero (would take about 4-6 hours)?

  As mentioned, the amount of time I spent working on it became too big for worry of recharging.  I deleted the virtual machine and reloaded from scratch and things are busy.

  This time I was smarter, and after obtaining things market I did a snapshot VM in Parallels so that when this window box inevitably is messed up again once I can get back to the old image of when it was freshly installed... something I should have done the first time, would have saved me 10 + hours of grief.

  I am trying to reinstall everything the basic drivers for my c309g-m, after reinstalling XP and upgrade to a new netgear router. Now, I know the printer installed on the network ok, because I can find it, ping and even load its web page and see there is ink levels etc. The problem is that the installation driver receives all the way to the right (after successfully find the printer) and tells me "she didn't." How useful...

  So I click Next and it sticks a link 'add device' on my desktop, so I can repeat the same frustrating experience.

  I tried the options of cable and wireless in the page type of connection because while my computer is connected by cable to the router, the printer is wireless and so is the router. That kind of depends on your point of view as to whether the connection is wired or wireless isn't? This means your connection from the PC or the end of the printer? that is who should I click? I tried both, although - same result. He finds the printer then diagnostcs bit network it just says "printer installation failed to complete.

  Ahhhg! It must be the error message less useful that I have ever met!

  Help... Please... anyone?

  EDIT: I tried to delete my AVG anti-virus as the installer didn't warn that software AV can cause failures but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

  Solved. I went back to the software on the CD and it worked. I can only conclude from there that the latest version of the software does not work on my system for some reason any (or maybe just does not work, period).

  I have a client that is running Windows Vista Home Premium (32 bit) and my application setup CVI-built fails with "internal error 2502.

  This installation kit has been deployed successfully on hundreds of computers with different versions of Windows, and I never saw it. No device drivers or advanced libraries - just standard execution. I use CVI 9.0.1.

  Some old problems with the Office installation, date/time settings etc. of research show very little - but I still found nothing which indicates what means this error.

  I think that this error has something to do with the Windows updates blocking antivirus.

  Try this:

  (1) disable the anti-virus and all others no essential programs

  (2) type in services.msc RUN which will take you to the 'services' and search for Windows Installer mine has been set to manual so leave it put there and just start it

  (3) now, run windows update and wait for your window installed correctly

  (4) restart the computer

  Let me know how it goes!
