"IDT audio driver" and dividing sound

Nice day! I have a problem with the sound on my HP Pavilion dv7 - 7002sr Entertainment (Windows 7 64-bit).

The problem is the following:

While I use some programs of voice communications (Skype, TeamSpeak, etc.), the sound of this program is played through my helmet, but the sound of any other program (game, player YouTube etc.) goes to the speakers.

For example: I play a game. All the sounds I hear in my headphones. Then I got incoming calls and sound divisions between the headphones (Skype) and speakers (game)

I've solved once: all I need is to uninstall "Beats Audio Control Panel" and "IDT Audio driver. But now I can't do that, because that IDT High definition audio driver keeps himself reinstall every time that I reboot the system (all AutoUpdate updates are off).

Help me pls. I've tried everything

Solved by removing-rename-deletion c:\Windows\System32\drivers\HdAudio.sys
After 8 hours of evil the IDT pilot went ^^

    Hi Ken,

I have to admit that I'm starting to think that this can be a hardware problem and it is very little left to try about the software options.

It is always possible, however, that the problem is due to a kind of corruption of the operating system, so that a final procedure, he is interesting to try to reinstall the OS ( make sure that you back up all your files etc first personal )-there are different methods to do as it is stated in the document at the link below However the "f11 method" may be the fastest.  The other advantage to try this now, what HP can suggest well try a reinstall of the operating system before proceeding with the repair option, so if you have already done this, it should speed things up.

If the reinstallation of the operating system does not correct the problem, it is most certainly a hardware problem which will need to be repaired under warranty.

You can always check your warranty status here.

If you need to contact HP and arrange for the laptop repaired under warranty, phone numbers found on the corresponding link below.

    Hello

I have a problem with my new Dell Precision M4700 with Windows 8 x 64.

I can not install audio driver IDT high definition. During the installation, I get the error message 'the hardware found is not supported by this package IDT', or if I try to use the manual installation, I get the message "unable to install the driver. A device is not active ".»

I think that the audio device is disabled, but don't know where to check.

    Thanks for any help.

    OK, I found the problem.

    Now Audio work perfectly.

The problem was related to the pilot HDAudBus (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-SYSTEM-CurrentControlSet-Services------HDAudBus) which was fixed with the start (REG_DWORD) 0 x 4 (disabled). Set to 0 x 3 and rebooting, everything has been implemented.

    Thank you all.

What DID do the work is the following: download the latest version of the driver IDT audio (not the dts driver), run it and click on repair. After you restart your laptop, you should be able to change the sound settings dts and again hear a big difference in the sound. I hope this will help you.

  • HP ENVY E1P05AV: IDT Audio Driver problems in Windows 7

For the past few weeks, I dealt with the same audio swings and speaker problems that a lot of people here have complained.  I am aware of the updated driver for those who have Windows 8 computers, but I have a Windows 7.  This computer was purchased in June, after my previous HP laptop (which therefore had no problem) had to be replaced.  Restarting the computer solved for a few minutes, but there always questions until it inevitably makes it so I can't hear anything or play videos.  I uninstalled, deleted and reinstalled the driver IDT several times including downloadling directly on the site of HP. I sat and looked at the settings Audio Beats swing back and looked like Windows Explorer crashes because I tried to change the volume on my keyboard settings.  Most of the time, I can not even restart or shut down my computer more, it just stays on a black screen with the power light until I turn OFF manually or the battery dies.

I am so frustrated with this and even more so by the fact that a fix has been pushed through for the users of Windows 8, but you leave those of us with Windows 7 stuck with unusable laptop computers.  Please tell me how I can fix this or direct me to someone who can help me to replace my laptop.  Thank you.

P.S. I'm not angry with you, just at the situation, I'm sorry to sound like a jerk.

I solved the problem, but thank you very much for your help.

Audio swings and the total lack of audio was caused by a loose speaker inside the computer wire.  I was able to tie it and everything works fine now.

  • Dell Latitude E5500-problems with the IDT audio driver

    Hi all!

I use Windows Vista 32bits on E5500 and everything works fine with the big exception of the audio driver. I used the latest version for this laptop which is A15, no other versions are available on the downloads page. The pilot is very unstable and crashes all the time. Pressing the sound keys does not change the audio levels instantly as expected. There is a noticeable delay in the volume control after I pressed the button. A few 4-5 or more seconds after I press Volume upwards or downwards until the press is registered. A very weird situation and nothing helped so I deleted the audio driver of Dell. I use the default Windows driver now and so far everything is ok.

Everyone has experienced a weird behavior like this on the same computer laptop? Do you know where I can find an old audio driver for E5500 so I can test again?

As the system software Dell-is important on the audio system or not so. I installed it after a recommendation in the audio FAQ here on the forum. Thanks for all the tips!

    Hello

Follow these methods and check if that helps.

    Method 1:

Sometimes this error appears when you install the Realtek High Definition driver in XP. You can download the driver here.

Follow these steps and check if that helps:

    (a) open Device Manager (start > Control Panel > system > hardware)

    (b) in the 'View' menu Manager, select "devices by connection":

    (c) disable and uninstall it by right click on "Bus Driver for Microsoft UAA High Definition" Audio,

    (d) you can now install the drivers normally and without error.

    Method 2:

Follow the steps in troubleshooting section and check if that helps:
