  My old Compaq desktop computer has been slow to start in the morning and recently when I went to turn it on, it got stuck on the boot sequence, and it restarts just after the initial start-up.   I have an Aver Media Combo G2 Media Center TV tuner card. Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Everything worked fine and then for some reason any Windows Media was unable to download the TV program guide.  I thought I would try reinstalling the TV signal. Setup stopped when you try to download the latest updates. Some research has indicated that I had to manually run "mcupdate", I did. It passed me this hang up, but then I complete Setup with the above message.

  Now, I have no live TV function.

  I have a HP m8034n pc with a tuner Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1600 NTSC/ATSC Combo.  The pc came with Vista and Windows media center worked great just with the tv tuner.  I upgraded to Windows 7, December 2 and fail to put in place my tv with WMC tuner.  The recorded shows that I had before the upgrade to Windows 7 appear and play without problem in WMC. I used the hardware diagnostic tool that is installed on my pc to control the Tuner, and during the test, I can see fine TV stations.  This unit is compatible according to microsoft Windows 7. I have the latest driver and tried to uninstall and reinstall. I ran Windows Update and everything is up-to-date. After that WMC checks tuners, it says:

  I don't know what happened, I left my PC off overnight and planned reformatting today. But I decided to give him another chance. Instead of saying the tuner was not available. He showed me a static snow image strong, as he was trying to use my Analogue tuner. In fact, it is supposed to use the composite input for my cable box. I re set my TV signals, and now everything works well again. Its strange because I reboot half a dozen times last night and it's never worked.   I am trying to create a second object of resource AD user for the STANDARD connector. I'd like to think that the connector AD (and all connectors, for that matter) has been designed to manage the creation of several objects in resource for the same Types of resources, but I'm bad? It does not appear the IOM connector can handle this easily.
  
  Does anyone has created several objects of resource for a connector? It is a relatively simple task, or it will require a big effort? Is it still possible? Pointers?

  I'll give you a little help with replication. I found the best way to do is to import the original connector. Cross the diff鲥ntes pieces that each have a unique name, which is not part of one of the other names of piece. You must have unique names for the following:

  1 object resource
  2. process definition - commissioning
  3 resource
  4. form - process
  5 scheduled task

  After you import the connector, all of the following for renaming into something unique. I would also update your form of process to have a default value of your IT resources, as well as your scheduled task for point values to new unique names. Export the 5 elements, without addictions. The cards will be the same. Use find and replace the values, and then import the new XML. If it works, duplicate the XML file for each of the new workflows that you want to create.

  If CS5 works for you, stick with it.

Also, I spoke with a guy name eric, who adopts a unprofessional behaviour by lying to me, and then claiming that I never heard ALL of his answer. Well hell I'm not a mind reader, so, how do I know you give me false information. He was rude and kept giving me 20 mibutes of hold time. Again, I write an article in my local newspaper and college on this horrible experience and this company and will be pre-cauting my peers and friends not to buy hp products more.

  They used to have, but in recent years, they have taken the path of Dell and focused more on quantity than quality.  I have a neighbor who has two mothers fried because they had the nVidia chipset and we have one as well.  I won't recommend HP computers laptop clients until HP begins to take responsibility for their products again.  Toshiba seems to have the highest mark of longevity.
