  Please mention the exact error message that you found when installing Illustrator and here are the steps that you can follow to change the installation location.

  1. go to preferences using the gear on creative cloud icon

  2. go in creative menu Cloud

  3. do Apps and then change the installation location to another directory.

  Go into the BIOS, use the tab of the System Configuration.

  Enable Legacy Support.

  Plug the USB key into one of the usb ports.

  Press the F10 key to save the changes and exit.

  Now, press the F9 key to select the first boot option.

  You should see the USB key as one of the options if it is in fact a bootable flash drive.

  Option 1 seems to be preferable, because there is risk associated with the 2nd.

• I can't access any application, including desktop application, from my PC which runs on Windows 8. What should I do to fix this?

  Try the following:

  (1) reset store Cache - Windows key + R, type wsreset.exe, enter

  (2) sync your App store Licensing charms, updated settings APP, sync Licenses

  If the problem persists, run the following commands from a command prompt (Admin)

  (1) sfc/scannow reboot once completed.

  (2) dism.exe/Online/cleanup-image /scanhealth

  (3) dism.exe / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth Reboot and try Apps, if still the problem persists restart sfc / scannow and restart and check if it is resolved.

• Cannot print multiple copies from Excel. Also impossible to update HP driver. The update of the Microsoft HP driver fails to install.

  Windows 7 + Office 2007 with HP 1200 LaserJet printer: unable to print multiple copies of Excel documents.  Also impossible to install the update from the HP Microsoft driver.  Windows Update indicates the updated driver available... but fails to install.  Everything was stable and works very well.  All other printing works very well (including multiple copies from other programs like Adobe etc).

  1. to narrow down on the issue, I suggest you to print several copies of a Word document or notepad.

  2. provide the error message or error code for the problem to install the updated driver, follow these steps:

  i. Click Start, in the search box, type in update

  II. click on windows Update

  III. click view update history

  IV. double-click Update failed

  3. update the printer driver to manually. Steps to update the driver:

  i. click on start, type devmgmt.msc and then on enter.

  II. develop the printer and right click on the sub element and click on update driver.

• Adobe Javascript from Excel VBA

  I have some have little experience with VBA Excel and Adobe Javascript separately, but I never tried to put it together. I'm quite baffled by the use of 'DoJavaScript' from in Excel VBA. I have a number of JavaScripts Illustrator that do various tasks (for the most part, measure and set properties on illustrator objects to determine geometric measures). I wanted to run these scripts from Excel VBA (they run smoothly when it is called directly in Illustrator). My hope was to spend some real numbers of VBA in the JavaScript code before we ran to set some performance parameters and get some real numbers back out the JavaScript in VBA. I can't get even the simple DoJavaScript given command in Adobe VBscript reference to run. Read other messages that seem somewhat related that it is unclear if I hurt something very simple, or if my understanding of the use of the DoJavaScript command is incorrect. Is anyone able to shed some light on this?

  My last try was this simple test... almost directly from the reference from Adobe:

  I am informed by a number of applications (including FireFox Synch) that JavaScript is not enabled. I use FireFox 33.0 Tablet ASUS running Windows 8.1. I have re-uploaded and UN/re-installed FireFox several times. These applications have run on other computers windows without any problem.

  Re-extract files from the zip archive and fixed it... now works.

  Currently I have to refer to a directory of support in a VI of highest level using the [Path running VI], [path of the band] and adding "/ data" on the way to return file. When I build the application my reference is no longer valid because [Path running VI] returns 'Root/Directory/Application.exe/TopLevel.vi' instead of 'Root/Directory/TopLevel.vi '.

  My question is how can I list my backup directory specified in the Application Builder in my code? If this is not possible how can I reference a file path that will remain valid in the source and as a built application? I wouldn't have to make sure that the default directories are the same on multiple computers.

  I would say something like this, because it will work in all combinations (IDE, EXE, LLB, etc.).

  

  Note, however, that LV 2009 changed our way of screws go in an executable file. If you get the path of the highest level VI, you'll be fine. If you are a beginner in the middle of the hierarchy, however, you will get T from the output directory is always inside the EXE, because the folder structure is maintained inside the EXE.

  To work around this problem, LV 2009 also has a new VI in the constants file palette which returns the directory of the current application. That's what you use if you use 2009.

• I can't print from powerpoint, excel, adobe reader software. Selection of the default printer does not stick

  Lenovo thinkpad T410s, stock, windows 7 64, ms office 2007, adobe reader, all day

  Cannot print to a PictBridge compatible printer (including print them as pdf, xps, etc.) of powerpoint, excel and adobe (at least). This is what happens when I try to print:
  -excel, I get the error "current printer is unavailable". When I say ok, it appears a box displays the available printers (updated from the printer list and shows new printers if I install, removes those I removed/uninstalled), but I chose one, say ok and it just goes back to the same error
  -powerpoint: I get the error "no printer is installed.
  -Word: printing, but it does not show a default printer (drop initially empty). the list of printers (once that you pull-down) remains up-to-date
  -adobe reader software: poster old printer printer list and the default is not updated. When I select and press on print, it gives error ('no page selected')

  I have read that sometimes happens when there is no default printer selected. It's true. I select a default printer, but it doesn't seem to stick. When I run the troubleshooter to fix - it, he confirmed that he could not set default printer (and then gave me some unnecessary insulting suggestions, like going to the site of the printer manufacturer, or fix - it)

  I uninstalled reinstalled all printer drivers except the default virtual printers (printing of the document, ms fax, pdf etc.). I checked that the spooler is running (in services)

• Lost the ability to convert to PDF from excel

  With the help of win 10, office 2010 upgrade, to office 365...  lost the ability to convert an excel to PDF.  In adobe acrobat standard, there are the list of preference "convert to" and excel is not there, see attachment.  I have attached a second peak and this show, click right an excel get should you give the combine or convert option. check another pc and the excellent ms is in the list of preference.  I had also updated adobe acrobat DC 2015 (the latest version) and did not fix.  Microsoft is not really what could be the problem, so I thought I'd see if anyone else had this problem.

  Convert it to pdf, works in word and PowerPoint.  If excel is the only

  issue.
