  I don't get any errors. It stops between the two and freezes for 3 hours until the process is killed manually.
  This isn't the problem with other cubes. The change of name of the process still very well with other cubes.
  
  The main cube DBL gets renamed DB_Temp (application and database). Then the intermediate cube DB_STG renames DBL & DTB respectively. DB_Temp becomes the intermediate cube that is renamed to DB_STG.
  
  In this process, it's get hit when the DB_STG get renamed to DBL.

  Hi Sudhir,

  You did not mention the application types-ASO/OSB? I ask this because if it is a BSO & if you've DBs. other than DB_STG for DB_STG, they would have to take into consideration.

  Before you run the MaxL you posted, I would first of all check if I could (Stop) Unload & Load (Start) the application without complaining of Essbase. If I couldn't unload & load successfully, I suspect that the database has been corrupted. However, in this case, a simple restart of the Service eliminates memory problems & can let me unloading/loading apps. successfully.

  In addition, it wouldn't hurt to include your second series of MaxL ALTER statements for approx. DB_STG too.

  Try the following.

  Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

  After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  1. try running it as an administrator: right-click on the icon and choose 'run as administrator '.

  1 turn off your computer completely
  2. turn on the system and start immediately by pressing the "F8" key until you reach a multiboot menu
  3. Select "Safe Mode with network" in the list
  4. wait until it boots into Windows. This may take a few minutes

  2. click on "all programs".
  3. click on "Accessories".
