  If you use first Pro CC (7.0), and then the option to remove unused is under the Edit menu. In the project Panel, if you are in the display of the icon, then files will show the icon of video and/or audio, storm in the thumbnail of the file. If you have preview enabled (in the menu on the right wing) area and select a file, then it will also list how many times the file is used.

  Please do these two simple things and the report on the results.

  A. report of the disc

  1 double click (or click, if it's in the start menu) Workstation

  2. for each drive (you must be at least 'disc' Local (c), right click and select Properties.  Report of the 'space used', 'Free space' and 'capacities '.

  B. know what is using the space

  1. get a USB that has at least 4 MB of space.  You can buy a 4 GB (this is 1,000 times more that you) thumb drive from Staples for $7.99 and connect it to your computer.

  2. download JDiskReport.  Go to http://www.jgoodies.com/downloads/index.html, make a right click on the link 'Win', choose ' save link under ', navigate to your USB key and save the file.

  3. in the installation: uncheck the 3 boxes on the screen "select components"; on the "Choose installation location" screen, click the Browse button and navigate to your USB key so that all the files will be installed on the USB.

  4. when the installation is complete, click on my computer, open the USB key, open the folder named JDiskReport and double-click on the file named jdiskreport - 1.3.2.jar (you don't see the .jar extension).

  5 scan C: and see what is taking place.

  Tab file types has been removed in Windows Vista & Windows 7 and replaced by "default programs".   On the drive home screen, it is at the top left an icon marked documents. Touch and you will get a list of your files. Drag the file you want to delete, from right to left. The list of files under the document icon are a list recently, and you can not delete the files from there.

  Hello. I found the 22GB "myfoder" file in the directory VMwarDnD on Windows 7 computer host computer. When copy us files from VM to the host, they go to this directory first and then go to the desktop. I deleted a lot of files in this directory to get the amount of disk space.

  Files cannot be removed from the recent tab, because it shows that the list of recently viewed files, is not the current storage destination.

  Hi lhcheng, I know that you can search for the file in your layers panel and delete (I must say linked file) even if its lack and that should remove it from the links aswell

  To clear pending files, select the files/folders in the 'Files to add to the CD/DVD' box and press DELETE. However, if you want to delete all files, click the CD/DVD drive and select 'Clear the staging area' from the context menu.

  You can manually delete the files that are stored in the following location:

  %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\CD Burning folder
