• CC 2014 Illustrator crashes when printing

  On 20 June, I came across this post section of the forums on InDesign InDesign crashing when printing RIP Fiery. August 07, went out a patch that fixed the issue many people have seen. Unfortunately, the patch does not work for Illustrator CC 2014.

  Someone know if Adobe has released a patch, or know if they work on an updated? For more than three months he began to arrive, and our users always have problems with printing.

  I installed Illustrator CC 2015 and have several problems:

  1. when I open files that nothing appears moreover argues (preview CMYK/GPU) after each file name

  2 - when I close the first file I opened it crashes every time there is any file.

  I'm on a PC running Windows 7

  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator without result.

  I have a cat of support, and it was a GPU issue. Once I unchecked performance GPU in my preferences of all has been fixed.  Thanks for all the help, I must get back to work now!

  My 24 in early 2008, died a few weeks before, diagnosed a graphics card failure. It was running El Capitan and applications worked fine, no problems what so ever.

  Today I bought a new 27 inch, 3.2 with fusion drive, restored with Time Machine and the process worked well. It is just like my old Mac but run a hundred times faster.

  With the time I've lost lately, I desperately need to catch up with the work, but to my absolute frustration Illustrator crashes everytime that I previews fonts menu scrolling.

  This problem is addressed through the world wide web, I tried the suggestions but without success.

  Can you try and check the accessibility of your system settings - there is a transparent overlay parameter. Turn this option off.

  If you use the backup system Apple (Time Machine), then you could go back.  If this isn't the case, you may need to reinstall it from optical disc (DVD).  This would require an uninstall then reinstall.

  Note that if either of you use the Nightlies of 64-bit, then they were broken off at the last moment, as was the last generation used from January 9. Win64 nocturnal compilations are not officially supported (as the Win32 are) so it may take a while to bring even more stable.

  There is no solution.

  If that is your only question, you should be happy.

  El Capitan Yosemite and CS5 are not compatible. For some people it can run more or less, for others not so much.

  Photoshop CS6 crashes when I call the print command.  I have reset the default preferences.  I don't know if it's a computer problem or Photoshop.  Photoshop works in every other sense.  I can print from Lightroom.

  Try holding SHIFT keys when you start Photoshop. Try to hold the space bar when you click on print. What is information on your system?

  Illustrator is limited to 100 work plans. Up to 120 pages will never work.

  -When I open any *.ai file saved on my drive

  -When I try to create the new file

  I can open the Illustrator (empty, without any document) but as soon as I want to open a document or create (file/new) it immediately blocks wit "Illustrator unresponsive" and it closes.

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  Our creative cloud has had some problems in the updates and I've installed illustrator again with the new version of the cc for 2014, but the rest of the problem.

  I found the solution! I begged the rep and the supervisor to help me, even if they are not (like a policy) support Surface Pro 3 because "it's a tablet" (LOL!-c' is still a laptop with a detachable keyboard). It's a necessary printer updated driver. That's all. Unfortunate as a broken printer driver my paperless work stream, but happy, it is fixed.
