• Classroom in a book - lesson 2 - Add the animation layer

  I use the Dutch version of the classroom in a book, Flash CS3and the English version of Flash, on a Windows Vista pc updated (NOT ServicePack1 installed).
  The lesson is to make an animation of a glass of sparkling water.
  I created the glass and the first bubble - so far, so good.
  But then I copy the bubble a couple of times, in the times News (layers).
  According to the book, I select interpolated in the first bubble picture and images make it drag (hold the Alt key) to the next layer. According to the book in this new layer the same animation should appear (a rose by a solid line in the beginning end of the pink section section).
  However, in my workspace, I get a pink section all the way until the end of the new layer, with a dotted in her line.
  See this image of the screen.
  In addition, there is a sign next to the button change, saying: motion tween will be not on the layers with dissociated forms or on layers with more than one group or a symbol.
  Not to mention the animation for this second layer does not work.
  I tried the same lesson on my pc backup, using Win XP, with the same results.
  
  Is that what I can do about it? The text is in the bad book, can I use any special parameters in Flash or...

  I myself discovered it by accident: I have not selected the last image (the one with the black dot in it).
  So: do not select only pink executives, but also the frame with the point just after the pink frames...

• Adobe Illustrator CS5-classroom in a book

  It took me a few hours to get to page 26, and now I'm stuck.  I find that the software does not always work as described by the book.  I am on lesson 00, working with type.  I followed the instructions, I read over and over again, but my type does not appear on the graph. A small blue box appears when the type must be good.  Has anyone else encountered this problem and captured?

  In Lesson 1 (using the example of 01B_Start.psd), I am able to capture and move the horizontal text, but when I followed the instructions (just like short!)

  to change the color of text, via a selection of swatch, the foreground color and the change of color of text Optios Bar, but the text I typed and then selected for change (by instruction!) does not default black.

  
  

  Can someone help me solve which I am certain is a trivial problem?  No technical support on the weekend.  The only time where I have to do!

  Hi Jack, could you perhaps post a screenshot of your workspace? That would help us WORK more assess your problem.

  1. to change the color of the text in Photoshop, first make sure that your text is selected and highlighted. To select all of the text on a layer of plain text, just quickly, double-click the "T" icon in the layer in the Panel layers:

  

  You can see above that my text is now highlighted. This means that I can change the color of the selected text.

  2 to change the color of text, you can either click on the color chart of the text tool options bar (make sure the text tool is selected), or use the sample of foreground in the toolbar. Both options are shown below.

  

  Although it's not like, you can ensure that your Color Mode is set to RGB or CMYK. If you are in grayscale, you only see colors in shades of black, white and gray. To check your color more, go to Image > Mode

• Help please: Illustrator CS5 will not weight less 1 pt of the race.

  I tried to apply some weight less 1 pt of pt or in the outline Panel pt.5 selectionnant.25 race. However, it comes down to 1 pt.

  This just started happening about a week ago. Could I have inadvertently changed a setting?

  How can I fix it?

  I gues you have set up a document using the document profile Web or some other profile that. Then "Snap to grid of pixels" is active and prevents you from using the weight of small strokes. When you print, set up your file with a printing profile.

  I'm having a problem with Illustrator CS5 3 lesson using the second file of the year of the woman.   Hi all

  I really need help. I'm going through my book and I'm stuck on Lesson 9 (prospects). In particular, the part on attachment of the sign to the building. I followed all the steps, completely, however, everything I've done, the sign always seems to hide behind buildings and all that I see is the top of the cup of coffee. I have tried everything I can think of to try to get the sign at the sight, but nothing works!

• CS5 Classroom In A Book errors

  I learn a few Dreamweaver by Adobe Press' Classroom In A Book and find a few mistakes pretty bad in the Edition. It is difficult to know whether problems I'm having with the program are related to my own mistakes, or if it's just another lack of typo or error in the book.

  That being said, when you create a new CSS style, what is the difference between a < #style > and < .style >

  I know that the # is a reference ID, but what happens if Dw is and instead uses the .style. The book shows a #style in his illustration, but when I followed the directions my Dw is automatically entered as .style.

  My error somewhere? Or is this another error of the book? How is this book what it to print at will all deviations of the screen that shows the book? If you take this book you will know what I mean.

  An ID is a named reference.  Can only be used once on a page, whereas a class can be used multiple times on the same page.  I don't have instructions so if you could post the steps that you are asked to use I can start my DW and see if it's an error with DW or something you do.

• Classroom in a book lesson 2015 6 error?

  I will from now through Lesson 6 and reached the section "styling a Navigation menu. I had added an element of Basic Navigation "bootstrap" on the page in the previous step and now I'm supposed to add css selectors to change the appearance of the NAVS "bootstrap".

  The book says the following:

  1. Select a menu (on the NAV) item

  2. click on the button "current."

  3 scroll through the list of selectors until you come to .navbar-default

  The problem is, there is NO default .navbar in the list of selectors for a menu item.

  What I am doing wrong? The instructions are bad? I noticed a few errors in the book so far but have been able to manage without worrying. However, this one has me at a roadblock because I have no idea what selector to use to override the CSS Bootstrap in the navigation menu.

  I found it.  It should probably be reported as a bug.

  I use the book to learn Dreamweaver and have obtained successfully regarding the Page 345. However, on this page, I received instruction to use the GreenData in the DVD folder and ' copy this database on the test server as required by your PHP/MySQL Installation Server "I tried to get past this point, but failed because I'm not sure I understand this correctly. If I copy the folder of greendata to my localhost by copying in the "htdocs" folder (my setup is through XAMPP) I can't see the greendata database in phpMyAdmin that the book indicates that I must be able to see if the installation of the file is done correctly! I can of course create a database called greendata in phpMyAdmin, but it does not help itself!

  I've been struggling with this for a while and I'm sure that there must be a simple answer. Can someone help me to overcome this problem please?

  I upgraded to OSX El Capitan, last week and everything seems to be working for Photoshop and Illustrator.

  I am running CS5 but Illustrator was crashing when I use the eyedropper tool.

  I try downloading the update, but it gives me an error message.

  Anyone know if there is a specific update for El Capitan again?

  I tweeted on Twitter @adobesupport. They returned to me an Adobe said no no longer support for CS5 or CS6.

  It is strategic to their side to prevent users to buy the latest version of the software, but unfortunately, this means for us who are pleased with our releases

  We are obliged either upgrade to CC or downgrade to Yosemite OSX or OS that supports are Adobe version.

  With regard to the eyedropper tool. The best solution I have found so far is to open the same image in Photoshop. Eye drops it and

  Copy the Sample Code in illustrator and click Add to swatches to have it registered for this particular design.

• Photoshop CS5.1 64 bit crash, usually after using the text tool.

  The problem started after I replaced my hard drive with an SSD and added an internal HARD drive, so I guess that it is linked to that.  When it crashes, Windows gives me the following message is displayed:

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  People do you recommend getting this book as a reference? I the basics, with all your help and probably won't go through there lesson by lesson. As a reference, is useful, considering we have this forum and help sites? Don't you think that you or users many beginning-intermediate use it much? I would thumb through it, but is not in bookstores, that I went.
