  Can someone tell me if it is possible to move the point of origin when you use the scale tool? By default, when I change by dragging an anchor of the corner, the opposite corner is used as the origin. Ideally, I would like to to scale using an origin that is biased, I can specify sort. I know that you can do during the rotation, but I was not able to determine if this goal is achievable during the measurement. I use Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 and Mac.

  Click where you want the origin to be. Or move the reticle. Exactly the same as with the rotation tool.

• Using the scale tool

  When you use the scale tool in cs4, I select an object and resize it. Is there a modifier key that I can use to quickly disable my object and select another? I don't mean click V to select the selection tool main then Q for the scale tool. I want to know if there is a key that you can temporarily hold to return to the selection tool, as Photoshop allows you to use the Cmd key.

  Select an object. Press 'Q' and you can use the scale on that tool. you want to unselect this object and select another? Double-click on the outside of the object and the scale tool is more selected. Then, simply click on another object, press Q and use the scale on it.  And so on.

  Here's how I do... You don't need to press ctrl/command to temporarily exit the scale tool. If you simply need to do the paper round (use the hand tool, for example, while always after selecting the scale tool), just press SPACE, go where you want, free space, and continue to work with the scale on the selected object tool previously...

  I don't know if this is a dumb question or not, since I already use FW for the past three years but still have not seen option. My problem is that when I use the "Scale" tool to change the size of an image, if the image is too small, or something like a sprite, the resized image gets all blurry and this is not what I want.
  
  For example, I'm trying to resize or even transform a sprite sheet, but when I do, it'll get all blurry and I need keep it the same way he was before, even if the pixels would be incredibly large with the new size, I would like the image to the same. Is this possible? And if this isn't the case, comment on a good program that can do this? Besides MSPaint (and PS, if possible)? Thanks for the help.

  If you scale or rotate an object of type sprite, you will want to use nearest neighbor Interpolation.

  You to scale an image like this in two ways:

  1. modify > canvas > Image size and choose more close neighbor in the dropdown menu, or
  2 edit > Preferences to have the scale tool use this interpolation method.

  I upgraded to OSX El Capitan, last week and everything seems to be working for Photoshop and Illustrator.

  I am running CS5 but Illustrator was crashing when I use the eyedropper tool.

  I try downloading the update, but it gives me an error message.

  Anyone know if there is a specific update for El Capitan again?

  I tweeted on Twitter @adobesupport. They returned to me an Adobe said no no longer support for CS5 or CS6.

  It is strategic to their side to prevent users to buy the latest version of the software, but unfortunately, this means for us who are pleased with our releases

  We are obliged either upgrade to CC or downgrade to Yosemite OSX or OS that supports are Adobe version.

  With regard to the eyedropper tool. The best solution I have found so far is to open the same image in Photoshop. Eye drops it and

  Copy the Sample Code in illustrator and click Add to swatches to have it registered for this particular design.

I tried to reinstall CS5 and who did not help. I am trying to set up a new computer and installed Photo Shop CS5 on it earlier in the day. Maybe it has something to do with it. But until I get the new fully configured machine I still want to continue to work on my current machine, which is where the problem is happening.

  I tried to update and roll back my graphics driver, I checked my swap file (because my SSD uses Samsung magician, and I found a few posts a few years ago which suggested that might be the problem), but I can't understand this.

  Other Production Premium CS5.5 programs seem to work perfectly, and only Photoshop is having issues.  I tried to reinstall (in which case a vital file has been damaged or missing).  Photoshop displays all errors of himself, he just died.

I would like to see the preview to change on the solid object.  Is there a setting somewhere?

  I experienced an intermittent problem in Flash CS5, where sometimes I can't push anything using the Subselection tool. Sometimes, I can, but most of the time I can't and I don't know why.

  I can still click-and - drag points (or multiple points/paths), but I can't push the keyboard.

  Any ideas?

  My guess is that the item is grouped and you are inside the publishing group? For some reason any in this case you cannot move the points in this way.

  Separate the Group and try again. Sorry that's the only answer I know.

• How to use the move tool in CS5 to put two images on an A4 sheet?

  Have recently updated from CS3 to CS5.

  I often print two images on A4 paper.  In CS3, I would simply adjust and crop 2 images to say ins 7 x 5 ins, after that put in place a new A4 size sheet (new file), then using the move tool, I propose the two images on the A4 sheet to separate and print.  Very well!

  Now under the CS5, once I've adjusted my first image and then try putting a second image with one I seem to lose one of the screen.  But on going back via the bridge and by clicking on the image, it appears again - problem is, I'm losing the second image.

  When I put it up a new A4 sheet, or pictures stay on the screen and there is nothing to move.

  Have been in preferences to see if there is something there to help, but nothing appears.

  Anyone know what is happening here and what I am doing wrong that is how to do 2 separate images on an A4 sheet?
