  • Problems with the gradient tool bar still is not on the article applied in illustrator cc

    Hello

When you apply a gradient to a rectangle I get the gradient tool, click on the half left of the object, that I want applied and while you hold, drag a line to right thew of the object. the problem when I release the mouse in the gradient bar that showed all hold, and then disappears. This is the case of the gradient, but the problem is that any gradient editing must be performed on the degraded as a set window to live on the object, slowing the flow of work.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but help would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

  • Reset the gradient tool

    Hello

I just the last update Illustrator CC... seemed to solve a few problems and now the gradient tool resets the use, every time.

Turns off when I try to change a color swatch in the gradient, as soon as I click the gradient box.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Hi Monika,

Thanks again for the responses.  I had to remove entirely Illustrator and all the settings and preferences.  Once I have re-installed, the problem disappeared.

Basically, any time I need to click on a point of gradient, the gradient tool would disable permanently until you restart the software.

  • Circles after the gradient tool

    Dear community,

I am looking for a solution remove circles after using the gradient tool.

My treatment: I changed a part of the background of my image. For this I used the gradient tool. A few steps later I darkened the background changed through curve gradiation.

In the end, I got some unsightly circles:

I tried their blur but it doesn't work.

I would be very grateful if anyone has any idea to remove / smooth lines (without repeating the workflow of hole).

Thank you very much in advance for your help and your best regards

  • Can I use the gradient tool type?

    Hello;

I would like to create topographic models using the gradient tool.

I know that you can create cool seamless profiles using the degraded forms tool. But I was wondering if you can do the same thing with the type.

I tried this type, but it did not work. Then I thought that I can turn the type shaped; by rasterized, but even once, it does not.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to create designs using typography; then please do.

    Thank you.

  • I lost my bucket, rest only the gradient tool

I lost my fill tool, the only thing on this tab is the gradient fill

    Hi Sarah,.

a couple of things to try. With the gradient tool selected, go to the icon in the upper left corner, right click and select Reset all tools

If it does not and you have the latest version of Photoshop, check that you have not changed the Toolbox accidentally. Click on where is the arrow

In the dialog box that appears to restore default values

If this does not work, you will need to reset your preferences as something has corrupted

If you do not have Photoshop CC2015 you will have to do it manually

    With Photoshop closed

ON a PC, press Ctrl-Alt-Shift and run Photoshop

On a Mac, press Command-Option-shift and run Photoshop.

In both cases opt for delete settings preferably in the dialog box that appears.

    Hope that helps

  • Empty spaces in objects when you use the gradient tool

I followed the instructions on how to make the waves/ribbons with the gradient tool by drawing two lines and then mixing.  I call on the two lines, selected them, mixed them and this is leading to.  I tried also to objects of layer two and get weird spaces like below.  Could this be something in the program, or maybe I have something running that should not be?

These paths have only a vascular accident brain, right. No fill? And the meaning of the path is the same?

  • The gradient tool is really useless?

I'm doing something really simple and it is apparently impossible with the gradient tool. It was a no-brainer in FreeHand.

In the attached picture, 3 steps are displayed (fltr).

    (1) all of the components used

    (2) the 2 arrow-shapes are being mixed with 20 steps and aligned with the path.

    (3) the spline is replaced by the curve.

Why are the beginning and the end "borrowed" or in other words, why not all the distances are too balanced?

    peakhunterapp,

In addition to what Doug said, you can get it right if you add enough of anchor Points, object > path > add Anchor Pointe a sufficient number of times; You can see when you are tired.

    Hi Christie,

You use the gradient tool to create a background, fill a selection or shape or something else? The gradient tool can be used in many different ways. Here are some videos for you started - if you try to do something more specific, feel free to post a reply!

  • Question of the gradient tool

Is it possible to specify the setting of the exhibition begin and end on the gradient tool?

What I really want to do, is to apply a setting of exposure even to the lower part of the image. There is a hard line, where I want the adjustment to start, so I don't really need a gradient. I know that I can do this with the adjustment, but that requires moving the brush on a large part of the image and, of course, be very careful in lining at the edge of the brush upward with the edge of what I want to clarify. I would like to be able to put a line through the image and say "ease everything below this line" by x amount.

    Any way to do it?

    Thank you.

I would like to be able to put a line through the image and say "ease everything below this line" by x amount.

When you apply the filter graudated, you can drag its width to 0, so that you get a clean line with all the adjustment applied to one side of the line. Here is an example:

It is easier to adjust the width of the filter to 0 in first setting a high zoom level (for example, 8:1).

  • (CS4) Question about the gradient tool

There was a time where the default behavior for the gradient tool was "transparent foreground.

Then, at some point, the default behavior has become "repeat the last gradient" - Although the last gradient was a FX applied to a layer.

I find the boring this last as hell, and slow, I have to click on the gradient and manually select "transparent foreground" each time I need to use it.

Is it possible to change this default behavior?

    Thank you!

Nope. I filed a bug report on this way at the time, but apparently it was not important enough to be changed in an update.

Select the gradient tool and then press 'H' (hide/show).  This is a feature with the adjustment brush as well.

  • Color for the gradient tool selector

Recently, I started using Adobe Illustrator and watched many tutorials for the basics of it (from Photoshop), but one thing I'm not too comfortable with is the tool gradient in Illustrator than Photoshop.

I keep reading that the only way to adjust the colors must either use the colors in the color chart or color slider mini but is possible to choose the colors that you can in Photoshop? (Screenshot attached to show what I mean)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Adobe Gradient.png

When you have selected a point of gradient in the gradient colors Panel you can double-click the fill color icon in the tool palette to change color with the color picker.

Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

  • perspective on the gradient tool. any ideas?

I use the gradient on 3D obects space tool that I drew, I wish I could drag a slider or move an object, and the rest of the case would move with it in any influence of the object instance that I am dragging. However as they are not manipulated.

I could spread the mixture, and then move them, but is there a way to do without developing the mixture?

    Screen Shot 2016-07-15 at 11.44.26 AM.png

for now, that the perspective is reversed, it takes less space between the objects from the perspective of what concerns the distance.

So maybe try a different approach - create a brush art or brush of an array of law model and the change once applied. And of course don't forget things like the good old mesh warping or symbols and associated tools, including the perspective grid.

  • Why the gradient tool has no effect?

OK, so I figured out how to rub the head and tail of a piece with the marquee tool - why must you select Tools twice?  Why are there two selectors side-by-side? - and now, I'm trying to get the Fade tool at work.  After selecting the Fade tool (twice!), I can highlight the region at the end that I want to disappear, but he does not draw a fadeout, and it has no effect whatsoever.  The documentation says to just drag and they appear.  And Yes, I have a zoom of the track at the bottom of the screen, I work with (where I select the Fade tool (twice!) once again).

Is there something about this program that is intuitive and logical, or it should be hostile user?  Laughing out loud

    TIA,

    GEO

    Bleaching works fine here...

The tool the leftmost is the tool of the left mouse button, the Center is what the mouse pointer becomes when you hold the key, command key, and the right is assigned to the right mouse button.
